Valet Parking very convenient and affordable

Loved the convenience of walking to everything. Room was comfortable and clean. Valet parking on site. Restaurant was very good - would suggest they need a little more help behind the bar. There is a great roof top bar for sunset watching but it was difficult to order drinks because the bar tenders were so overwhelmed.

Great people at front desk. Great locations, great views. This hotel should have a pool and hot tub to be even better.

We had a great stay at Cambria. My only issue was the roof top bar was rented so we didn’t get to experience the roof top views. No seating available so was very disappointed

Nice property in the heart of downtown. Valley parking only $15 a night. Clean and quiet rooms.

Location, location, location in downtown Asheville. All staff were very polite and helpful. Facilities are in excellent condition. The only amenity missing is a pool. It looks like one was possibly planned for the 9th floor balcony but the engineering didn't work out? Hemingway Cuban on 4th floor roof top is fun and delicious.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore downtown Asheville. It's an easy walking distance from many shops and restaurants, and the hotel itself is comfortable and beautiful with a rooftop bar that has great views.

Cambria is usually very high end in my book. We were given a Handicap assist room but was not given notice that it was the only room available. The shower water pressure was very weak. The floor of the shower spilled water onto the bathroom floor due to the floor conditions (unlevel). The water on the floor caused issues with access to the toilet without getting your feet wet. The cuban restaurant and bar closed too early on a Saturday night. 10 PM is too early for such a great Restaurant / Bar Venue. The patio was a delight and very relaxing. Problem is that if you arrive at 9 PM you can not enjoy the amenity.

Parking is a bit cumbersome.

Everything from the point of check-in to the time we left was perfect! Staff very friendly, hotel was clean and that is major for me. You will not regret booking here.

Poor housekeeping, terrible shower, great location!

The room was clean & nice but instead of receiving a cheap glass of champagne at check-in, I would have much preferred our room to have been cleaned when requested. On our way out one day, I stopped by the front desk and specifically asked to have our room cleaned. The desk clerk acknowledged me and said ok but when we returned that night, the room had not been cleaned. Maybe a small issue to some but to me having clean sheets & towels daily that’s a huge part of the hotel experience. I don’t give a hoot about the so called ‘eco friendly’ stance of some hotels - that’s laziness! Front desk staff came off as ‘fake’ rather than friendly. Would not recommend the Cambria or ever stay there again.

Mold growing on outdoor couches in suite room balcony and fiancé cut her feet on glass shards on the floor that were never cleaned up. Neighbors beside us were pumping music till 5am in the morning and no one would do anything about it. Housekeeping just swiped card and came right in without knocking. Luckily we were clothed. Ridiculous and will never go back.

The room was a good size and the beds werecomfortabld but in relation to the cost it was poor value for money. Thin towels, meager toiletries, cleaning only every second day which did not include removing crumbs from the floor.. no bathrobes. Only replenished things like coffee, sugar, etc. on cleaning days. For the money the standard should be much higher.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cambria. The staff was excellent and the prices were comparable -- from the room to the valet and even the food in the lobby 'shop.' The complimentary glass pf champagne is a nice touch. The view from our 10th floor corner room was amazing. I would highly recommend the upgrade if you can swing it. Anything above maybe the 8th floor with an odd number will get you a beautiful view of the sun setting over the Blue Ridge mountains. Our only hiccup was housekeeping. The first day after checking in we'd been out hiking all day, came back sweaty and reeking of bug spray only to find that between when we left about 10:30am and returned at 3pm our room hadn't been cleaned. So we didn't have any clean towels. We called for some twice but after waiting nearly an hour, we eventually went to find some from another housekeeping cart. The front desk attendant was apologetic but didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. It sort of threw the whole night off for us because we missed a planned cocktail hour and then had to rush out of the room (housekeeping finally showed up while we were getting ready) but that was the only issue.

Convenient to Harrah's casino, shops, and restaurants. Friendly front desk staff. Room could have been cleaner, found a cigar (still in the wrapper) on the floor, and some hair in the bathtub.

The room was spotless, very tidy, the staff was very nice! My biggest complaint is the AC unit in the room was SO loud, it kept waking us up every time it would switch on. It sounded like a jet was about to take off in our room.

We like this hotel and would stay again. The rooms are large with great views. The pillows are terrible. Too large and hard, I had to sleep with my parka as a pillow last night !

The hotel was quite modern. The room was clean, well laid out and well lit. My only concern was the Wi-Fi. It did not work and the hotel couldn’t make it work. It worked well at the lobby (ground floor) but not on the 7th floor where our room was.

Cambria Hotel Spacious and very clean room. Love the entry way of our room but I think they gave us a larger handicapped accessible room due to limited availability. There was a wedding party on property that weekend. Our room’s entryway has a mirror and hooks for coats. The windows were large and the view was quite spectacular of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We were able to see the sunrise and it was glorious. The window was equipped with automatic black out and sheer shades. It was a very nice feature and gives the room a very clean modern feel. The coffee machine and fridge were situated next to the closet with a large inset mirror but the lighting is soft, so not a place to apply makeup but can be a second choice for getting ready. Water pressure is weak in the shower, more towel hooks would be desirable for hang-drying multiple towels. The vanity mirror LED lights are not sufficient for makeup application. An overhead canned light or vanity light would be good. The AC is adequate but loud when it comes on, as if someone is flushing the toilet next door. Room door is on the thin side; therefore, hallway noises is easily heard. Thankfully, the room was spacious and the bed was far enough from the door and guests weren’t rowdy that weekend. The bathroom was cavernous with a wide sliding frosted glass door. It is quite nice for wheelchair access but loud and bright when used at night. Valet oarking only for $19/24hours. It is $4 more than a nearby parking deck per day

I paid just a few bucks more a night to stay in a higher floor and it was worth it. We were in a two queen bedded room, 1103 and the view was amazing!

The bathroom door is a sliding, opaque door that doesn’t fully close! Absolutely NO privacy! Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen! Everything else about the hotel was fabulous, but will never stay here again because of the bathroom.

We had tickets to a downtown venue, so I was looking for a hotel that was walkable to that location. After reviewing proximity and photos of the hotel, we decided the Cambria would be our home for the night. The hotel has an in-house restaurant that we didn't get to try on this visit but there are other walkable choices for drink and dining really close by as well. We were first welcomed by the valet staff which was an efficient process. The registration staff were very friendly and also had us on our way to our room in minutes along with a complimentry glass of champagne. The room was spacious and contemporary and the bathroom was also large. I really loved how open and airy it was. Our 11th story room also provided a great view of the city with mountains off in the distance. The room was very clean which is very important to me. The beds were comfy and a welcome place to fall into after our concert. One last thing was security and access limited to the elevator to residents with key cards only.

The room was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower- it was terrible. I didnt even try to wash my hair as I didn't have the extra time to rinse with the dribble coming out of the shower head.

The positives to this hotel was the location and the bed was comfortable. Someone did come to clean the room every day. The people at Valet were so nice, loved them. My negatives would be the bathroom shower has no door and the bathroom door it’s self is like a shower door. If someone uses the bathroom at night and turns the light on it wakes everyone up in the room. There’s not a lot of privacy since the door is glass. There’s also something going on with the plumbing, the toilet would flush properly other times it wouldn’t. I also heard another guest complain about this to the front desk. I said something to them too and it was brushed aside, so I let it go. Over all I would stay again for the location, but the functionality of the room is not practical when there’s more than one occupant.

the heater was broken and the technician's attitude was pretty rude talking to us. we ended up moving our room to next door so we lost over 1 hour to take a break before dinner. I wish they have some breakfast service. The view was fantastic and overall I am satisfied. The staffs are all fabulous.

The young man helping guests unload cars was less than helpful. He pushed a luggage cart toward us that had to be stopped from running into us.

Excellent location & staff but possibly the worst management ever experienced!!! From restaurant manager to not allowing ANYONE in at 6pm on a Saturday night for drinks with restaurant 1/2 empty because the kitchen was on the weeds and 1/3 of restaurants tables dirty but she did nothing to help out. Then, check out disaster because poor desk clerk was having issues and instead of manager coming out to help, he stayed hidden in back office so desk agent had to keep going to him. Get rid or retrain basic service skills to current management and this hotel could be amazing.

From the time you drive up to check in all the way to checkout, you're treated exceptionally well. Valet was friendly, quick, and reliable. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. We also loved the free champagne offered upon checking in and cute jar of honey when checking out. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Room was clean and had a gorgeous view. The location is amazing for wanting to wander downtown. Our only complaint was the comfort of the bed. It was a little too hard for our liking, but we know that's a "me problem." Will absolutely stay here again when we visit Asheville again!!

Very glad you asked because I called and canceled our two room reservation on a Monday and the reservation was for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, that was within the 48 hour cancellation. For no charge. The girl that canceled the reservation only canceled one of the two rooms and then on Thursday I started getting all kinds of charges on my credit card. The Cambria hotel started charging me. I had to call four times never could talk to the general manager. They did finally reverse the charges but charged me for one night stay when we weren’t there. Very disappointing because it was their mistake for not canceling both rooms like I requested, i’ve had good luck at Cambria in the past, though

The hotel is modern and clean however, we definitely had some issues. Keep in mind, thisis an inexpensive hotel so you should not have high expectations. housekeeping does not come unless you request it and they don't tell you that at check in. The people who work at the front desk are not knowledgeable about the area and are not extremely helpful in general. The icemaker didn't work on our floor. The gym was always out of purifiedwater. There was no water pressure no water pressure in the shower. We had to call every day multiple times for towels before somebody came. I called to speak to a manager and the person at the desk put me on hold for 15 minutes. I never came back. I finally spoke to a manager named Derek, who seem to be interested in my concerns. The rooftop bar is great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Asheville.

This was a very nice, clean hotel with a great staff. We valet parked so I don't know about other parking, but from what I saw, you need to plan to do this. There is a daily charge and we tipped the valets when we left the car and picked it up. It was very easy and fast. We ate at the Hemingway's Cuba Restaurant and Rooftop Bar for breakfast. I got the Pressed Cuban Breakfast Sandwich and my husband got Cuban Breakfast. We came back that night and ordered some drinks and the Cake de Ron for 2.The food was delicious, the drinks were divine, and the view was great too!

Breakfast was sub standard, coffee cold, food generally poor. They started vacuuming in the kitchen while we were eating making it difficult to carry on a conversation.

The room with the king size bed and private balcony was superb. Cleanliness was top notch along with the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom! However, the on-site dining option left much to be desired, considering it was basically closed at 9:30pm. I realize that it was a Wednesday, but when the concierge has enough knowledge to ask if "we're in town for the show", you would think that the hotel restaurant would be prepared for that situation. Instead, my wife and I along with 10 or 12 other hotel guests were left bewildered and hungry, not sure where to go in an unfamiliar town.

Breakfast was terrible - don’t buy the coupons. Waste of money. Food below average. Service is beyond slow

The restaurant at the rooftop was very unorganized and the food and drinks were terrible. There were umbrellas on the floor and couldn’t even walk to enjoy the sunset.

Very nice hotel. Super location and a great restaurant. I’m usually wary of hotel restaurants but Hemingways was excellent.
