First of all there is no parking. For 90 rooms they may have 45 spots. So if you checking in passed 5 pray that you will find parking. And the spots are small. I have a small crossover and I could barely fit. When you enter you are met with staff behind a bullet proof glass. The reviews about the rooms being noisy are true, but the way to fix that is get a room with an even number so you are away from the highway and make sure your room isnt an adjoining room. I had originally been placed in an odd number adjoining room and I could hear everything. Once they moved me to an odd non adjoining room it was quiet. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean but the tv is just live tv. The main deterrent for me was the type of people that stay here. The guests seemed sketchy, rude, loud and kind of trashy.

The hotel was having the exterior painted. The windows were all plastuc wrapped and looked like the place was closed. Our room had a terrible odor to it. My wife and I couldn't figout what it was. We arrived very late and left early the next morning so I didn't feel the need to ask for a different room. Breakfast was included and was fine with myself sunce there was a waffle maker. Id five the hotel a 2 star rating. It was cheep and suited us fine. Nothing more

Under renovations. Power went out in the morning and was out for hours. No back up. When I checked out it was still out. I had to get ready in the dark. Couldn’t dry my hair. Manager didn’t even address it when I checked out.

This place is terrible. It is so filthy, there were brown stains on the towels and sheets; the room reeked and the air conditioner smelled like mold and the shower was disgusting. It was so bad that I left after an hour and slept on the floor in my sons dorm room.

The window pillow cover was filthy, and so were the small bedspreads at the bottom of the bed. It made me wonder if the towels and sheets were not washed properly. It was OK for one night, but I wouldn't recommend an extended stay.

Room had a microwave and mini fridge, there was also a combo shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower (not sure of quality as I didn’t use these) Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Hotel is close to I77. There was a very strong air freshener smell in the lobby but I noticed upstairs in the hallway it smelled like garbage throughout the hall, it did not smell in the room so maybe it was just something on the day I was there. They did offer breakfast- I didn’t have it so I’m not sure what was included. Overall, the room was clean and it was good for a night or 2 but if you’re expecting a 5star hotel this isn’t it.

Clean, decent place to stay. I was there 3 nights. They need to put rods and/or hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels. Temperature in room’s fridge was so high that I was scared to eat the food I had put in the fridge overnight. Most of the electrical outlets for charging electronics seemed to cut off when you turned out bedside lights. These things can be fixed. For the price, I would stay there again.

Comfortable, clean room in a convenient location. The window seat is a plus. Can't get too excited about the breakfast, but it was adequate. About the location, it's just off I-77, but entrance is on a street rather than right off the access road, which makes it a little quieter and calmer. Also liked that there's a small shopping center literally next door with a walkway so if you want to grab a beer or bite to eat you don't have to get back in your car.

Location was great and quiet. Parking was fine. Our room, 218 was missing shower liner, but had curtain part. Chair back was broke and TV was small and didn’t work properly. We came in late at night and only needed to sleep so it was fine for our purpose.

We reserve this property and we were called at 12:30 to confirm that we were coming. When we arrived at 4 o’clock there was no one at the front desk. I waited just a few minutes until someone approached me. I gave them my name and he basically said that they had issues, and that we did not have a reservation. I asked him what was the problem and he had no response. He said that I was being transferred to his sister property which was only about a quarter of a mile away. My disappointment was that the girl I spoke to at 12:30 should have said that there was a problem at the time. When arriving to the sister property, I asked the hotel clerk what the problem was over at the other hotel, and she said that they had overbooked. That was something that should have been explained to me at 12:30 in the afternoon. I think could have made my own decisions on where I was going to stay. Not acceptable in handling my reservation. So I truly don’t know how good are how bad the hotel was. I just thought that they deserve to have a poor rating on every aspect.

First of all my wife and I arrived at our hotel at 4.pm (which was booked prior on line the day before) only to be told it was overbooked so we were moved to a “sister hotel” up the road. The room was ok, but the kids in the room next door (even after calling the front desk) didn’t quiet down until 11pm, very disrespectful as we were up early to continue our trip, not what we expected. The “included” breakfast consisted of a buffet style home fries,eggs and sausage ( that were nearly warm) toast, cereal tea and coffee.

I would not stay at this property again. Being objective: property condition is very poor (needs renovating, cleaning, etc.), room’s TV remote didn’t work, and front staff wasn’t very helpful when a problem arose.

I traveled with my daughter and was concerned about safety and cleanliness. I was so happy with the hotel! I felt safe walking in and out of the hotel and riding in the elevators. There were cameras all over for added security. The hotel was kept top notch clean from the garbage cans outside, the lobby, the breakfast area, and our rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodated all of my needs. The location was amazing. Right off the expressway and next to grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants! Some commented on the noise of the expressway. That is not an issue, not sure what they were talking about. I would recommend staying here and I will again when i head back to NC!

The property was good for what I paid, but it could use some improvements. Our bathroom didn't latch because the door was the wrong size for the opening. Beds were very hard & the linens had stains on them. Breakfast was available but when we went down to eat there was no batter for the waffles & all 3 coffee containers were empty. This was because the front desk person was responsible for breakfast & the front desk. You cannot do both of these jobs & make everyone happy. My experience was OK with what I paid for the hotel & the cleaners did the best they could with what they had. I will not be back to this location.

Conveniently located in proximity to Davidson College. Beds were comfortable and HVAC system was easy to regulate. The room had inadequate lighting--It was dark even at the mirror making shaving and make-up application difficult. Breakfast options were less than competitive hotels.
