Holiday Inn Express Charlotte West - Gastonia by IHG

Unfortunately, this was not a great stay and I will not be returning. The hotel is located beside a Motel 6 and the surrounding area did not feel like the best area. The biggest issue was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — while getting ready, I could clearly hear a woman’s entire conversation in the bathroom next door. You can also hear everyone walking and talking in the hallways. To make matters worse, someone above us (I’m assuming a child) was jumping and stomping for nearly two hours at night and then started again before 6 AM, waking me up. It was very difficult to get any rest. Overall, the noise level and location made this a disappointing experience. Staff was nice and helpful.

The staff was wonderful and the customer service was amazing too.Demise and Teayana made our stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, colleagues and family.

I love it! Look forward to returning soon.

I didn't feel good about this property. There was a car in the parking lot that was full trash bags . I tried to contact Hotel.com to tell them about my concerns and didn't get any help. The AI CHAT was not helpful and I couldn't get a number for support. So I made a reservation form Holiday Inn. Belmont. I wish there was someone to talk to about my concerns.

Area didn’t feel the safest. The price was a little expensive for a rough experience.
