Hampton Inn Havelock

Lobby area 1st floor and gym was under construction.

The staff was super nice and helpful. Parking was a pain. We got to the property at night and there were no parking spots available. Breakfast options were ok compared to other Hampton inn’s.

Staff was friendly. Property was clean. Pool was clean. Room was adequate.

Loved the trails to the small pond. Hotel very clean

This place was great, clean, and quiet, the staff were so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The salt water pool was also clean. Great place to stay and very convenient.would recommend this place to anyone.

Only giving a 4 star because they're remodeling. There was a mix up with our night through hotels .com. The lady at the desk was very helpful. Disappointed in Hotels .com for the first time.

We took a vacation to Beaufort/New Bern area 4th of July. This hotel is pet friendly and very accommodating for pets. The grass area and bags for cleanup well maintained. The property is very clean, the staff very friendly and always willing to help. Enjoyed our stay. Thank You

It is under a much needed renovation currently. My room smelled a bit musty. The other romm did not.

The only problem was a dumpster sitting out front.

Pool was nice except for the many, many cockroaches running around it. The mold and mildew growing all over the room, curtains, outlets, lightswitches aggravated me COPD terribly and my daughter got very sick the next day. Mattress was brown and smelled like mildew and was flattened on one side. The chase lounge chair was torn all apart and the stuffing was coming out, pillows looked old. The shelves were falling in the bathroom and the bathroom itself had barely any amenities, was not stocked. Parking was not ideal as only diamond members could park closely.

Checked in to find someone else's pants hanging in the closet; was given another room but was unable to open the door to that room, went back to front desk and was given another room (3rd time); was able to get into room but room looked fairly clean but did not smell fresh...not one time did the front desk reception say "so sorry, etc." or offer any explanation for the room situation

Dirty, not worth the price

Room it wasn't ready we wait an hour to get in. We got the key, and the room was dirty towels in the bathroom floor. However, the front desk ladies great service.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Had many food items to choose from for breakfast. The fall decorations within the hotel where wonderful. Very clean in the lobby and breakfast area. Our room was clean as well.

Rooms smelled like sewer, mold in the shower, hard water stains on the glass, stains on the walls, poor layout of the king suite with no airflow where the bed is. Sticker in the bathroom mentions hygiene standards- absolutely not. Owners/management is not giving housekeepers the proper tools to do their jobs to maintain this standard or they do not train their staff or follow up behind them. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The interior walls and ceilings need to be updated so they won't look like they've been patched up and painted over. The hardware for the barn door is rusted and furniture looked old and warn. The bed skirts need to be discarded and are very unappealing. If you have wooden bed frames they are easier to clean and more simple to maintain.

I paid over $200 for a room that looked nothing like the photos, very outdated, dusty, with a strange smell. The AC/heating unit was rusty, dirty, and the heat didn’t work. After trying for over an hour, I called the front desk. A staff member who checked me into that room (Star) came, She tried to tell me she could hear it working, but as I was explaining that it turns off immediately and blows out cold air, sure enough, it shut off again. I pointed this out, and she admitted that it wasn’t supposed to do that. She insisted warm air was coming out when it clearly wasn’t and told me to “wait a while”, for it to heat up. I asked how long, and when she couldn’t give a clear answer, I requested another room After spending nearly two hours in a cold room already. The new room was slightly better but still not what I paid for. When I got there, the door wouldn’t open, and one of the keys wasn’t even activated. I had to carry all my bags back to the front desk again before an older, kind employee explained that the door handle had to be turned upward to open (something I never would’ve known). The older lady was very nice, but the woman who checked me in and handled my issues was dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, I was extremely annoyed, especially after having to drag my luggage back and forth multiple times and even breaking a nail in the process definitely not what I expected from a Hampton Inn.

Staff at as great. The property needs a refresh. Mattresses and carpet need to be replaced room smelled like a gym locker.

Amazing stay here! The staff is so friendly from the front desk to the cleaning crew. The only downer was that you can’t stream Netflix or anything on the tv.

Only complaint was our curtains didn’t close all the way we were right above pool so the lights shined in the room all night long but other than that. Stay was great.

This property just conducted a renovation and it’s very nice. I was impressed with the new hard wood floors in the room. I would like to suggest that you have “room darkened curtains.” in each room.

I booked this HAMPTON INN, due to it being a HAMPTON INN. Traditionally, Hampton’s are at the TOP of the food chain, however, this Hampton was worse than a Days Inn. It looked good in the outside, but was SEVERELY out dated on the inside. The room STUNK on the inside, the shower was dirty, the decoration on the inside was hideous. I stayed the night because other places were booked, I would’ve asked for a refund, but I was stuck. Marriott brands from here on out. This hotel should be ashamed to call themselves a HAMPTON.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

Everyone was so nice. A few people that i got their names were Star (front desk and amazing) Bridget, Pam, Alexis all were a ray of sunshine. Thank you for a great stay while visiting our Marine!

My son had a baseball tournament this past weekend after a long hot day. We arrived at the hotel around 830 pm and we were greeted with the sweetest welcome from Star. She is absolutely a star and made our stay feel like home. She is a joy and made sure that everyone not just my family had what they needed and more. We travel a lot but we dont run into a lot of people like Star. Thank you Star for allowing me to "grocery shop" (inside joke) for the things we needed. Our overall stay was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you again Star!

The people there are wonderful. I should learn their names, but the woman who takes care of breakfast, the women who checked us in and fixed all the problems expedia caused are quite honestly, some of the best people you'll meet. We try to stay there every time we go down to see our son.

Angela was our Receptionist and she was so friendly and happy. She made us so welcome and helped us find a restaurant because it was late. The hotel room was clean and seemed newly decorated. We had a wonderful experience.

It's a...Hampton Inn! Same as countless other Hampton Inns I have stayed at. Clean, REALLY friendly front desk gal. Adjacent to a wooded park to walk our dogs. Stayed for 1 night

Great hotel. Super easy to find on service road. Check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was yummy. Room was comfortable, bed, shower. Only issue is that there aren’t many restaurants nearby. There is Mexican and fast food.

Convenient to the Havelock Ducks Unlimited Banquet at the Marine museum.

Convenient to many tourist destinations. Their breakfast was hot and a good variety to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean.

Noises from 2nd floor ( people walking ) and hearing a woman in her conversation most of the night while on her phone. Couldn't tell if she was in her room or the hallway. Most annoying! The service overal was excellent and the staff were very professional & courteous. Enjoyed thebreakfast. One of the best we've ever had. Would recommend this place highly.
