What made this hotel really enjoyable was the staff. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful at every turn, and it shows that this particular hotel has a culture of customer service. Breakfast was always well stocked and provided good options. I like that they keep the coffee/tea station open all day. It's a Hampton Inn, so the beds are always comfy. The room was a touch dated, lacking USB ports for charging. Gym was a touch dated too, but adequate. Only real complaint is the pool... if it is to be outdoors and partially shaded, it should be heated. It was WAY too cold to swim.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Coffee all day. Loved the snacks and water at check in. Cute little patio area. Disappointed pool was not open and nowhere when booking did it say this. Part of the reason i booked this hotel, for the outdoor pool. Something with the air in the room had my husband and i not feeling well. Overall nice stay.

After a long day of traveling, we had a great stay at this hotel. The lobby and staff were so welcoming. The pool area was really nice too. The surrounding grounds were well maintained and we liked how the hotel was tucked away from the main roads.

**Hampton Inn Mooresville, NC - Disappointing Experience** My recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Mooresville, North Carolina, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was particularly frustrating. Despite using the app to check in beforehand, I was still required to visit the front desk to present my ID and credit card for incidentals. After a long day of driving, this extra step felt unnecessary and cumbersome, as I had assumed the app check-in would streamline the process. The hotel itself is in dire need of updates. Our room had an odor that we think came from the bathroom area. Not exactly sure what it was, but it wasn’t the most pleasant smell in the world. The breakfast was awful! The eggs were terrible. We didn’t even go to breakfast the second day there.

This Hampton Inn is starting to show the wear of a lot of travellers. Are toilet in our King Room worked only with some taping of the fill valve in the tank. One of the lampshades beside the bed was broken.The ottomans, are badly worn and had stains. Only stayed one night, thank goodness. They offered us a room with twin beds as a replacement when we had toilet problems. It was suitable for my wife and I. So we just worked with what we had.

Everything in our room was damp, the carpet, the sheets, everything. Not sure if maybe the air conditioning was not on for a while in the room or what. It was pretty humid outside. We arrived to the hotel around 1 am, and had been traveling all day, if it had been earlier or i wasn't so tired i would have asked to change rooms. We turned the air on high & went to bed. By morning the sheets felt better, but the carpet was still a little damp. The breakfast choices were not as plentiful as most Hampton Inn's that we have stayed at. The service was fine, pleasant staff.

The property is nice. I reserved a suite with king bed, but received two queen beds. No bed deal. I'm not that guy to complain about a non issue. The suite very spacious. The location was very convenient for me also.

Everything was great until our last night there. The smoke alarm kept chirping. It started about 11:00. It chirped all night. The front desk told us they would send someone to change it but maintenance was gone. They did offer us another room but it was to much trouble and we were already in bed.

Probably the rudest person to ever check me in. In fact I was hesitant to even leave a comment out of fear. The room smelled like dog. When I did voice my concern the person who called me was the person who checked me in. One positive note housekeeping and grounds were super nice and made sure to say hi to me whenever they saw me.

Front desk for check in was amazing. Food attendant Serra was very friendly and willing to help with a grandsons' request for chocolate milk. Enjoyed food for breakfast. My room steward Irma was very nice and helped me get fresh towels and had the bed made.

Small room and bathroom. No one at the desk for check in, Very noisy in the hallway. Large group of teenagers checked in at 2am running through the hallways yelling. Front desk sent no one even after multiple phone calls for assistance. I will never stay here again and do not recommend this motel

This Hampton was not up to snuff. We were traveling with our small dog and they put us on the second floor with a dog which was very inconvenient then we realized the shower did not work and when I went to report it the phone in the room did not work either also very inconvenient . So I went to the desk and told them in person about the problems and the person on duty said there was no maintenance person on duty and that they would have to contact the 3rd party (Expedia) to see how they wanted Hampton to handle this. So we left to continue on our trip without a shower and without no satisfaction and no refund .

Good location for travelling I77. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Quiet and comfortable. Room was clean. Not keen on the Hampton Inn allowing pets in all hotel rooms. When I asked if there were any that are maintained pet free, I was told no, that the rooms were well cleaned after a pet and that guests that may be sensitive to pet hair/odour would have to look elsewhere.

Was in town for a few days for business. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Location was perfect for my needs with plenty of restaurants close by to choose from for dinner. Thanks for the hospitality !

The parking lot is not great because if the front ones are full (which there are not many at all) you have to walk around the side or the back of the building (at least I didn’t see another door on the other side)This not safe especially at night.

Overall, this was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was awesome, and the staff was very polite. If you look close, you can see there's some lipstick on a pig in some spots of the rooms. Wallpaper peeling, rusty hinges, etc. But it wasn't so bad that it detracted from the overall stay.
