Parking was good

parking was very close and convenient, hotel staff was great, very nice friendly and helpful, I got an early check in give them and A+ I was told the property was under construction/remodeling so there was no breakfast due to that the bed was so nice, very comfortable with the whitest clean sheets there is a computer in the lobby with a printer that is so old, I"m guessing 20 yrs old it can barely turn itself on, I had a short 2 pg document I could have printed but no dice the walls to the building are paper thin you can hear everything and the halls acoustics allow for a strong echo every time a door is shut down the hall two of the three drawers in the dresser had debris in them, in other words hadn't been cleaned I did not use the AC nor the microwave. the brand new fridge and flat screen were great though the toilet tank lid had rounded corners while the tank was rectangular, a total mismatch the toilet itself rocked significantly when you sat down on it but did not leak water when you flushed no towel holders so you had to hang damp towels on the coat rack the desk chair made you feel like you're sliding off to the left

The hallways smelled like weed. There was a party in the parking lot. Loud music. I had to leave.

Felt unsafe when pulling up - bought a trailer hitch lock when we got there and noticed some entry doors into the hallway from outside did not have locks. Rooms have been updated but hallways are dated. Booked a double room and was given a single so didn't actually stay at the property.

Room smelled like mildew. In-room coffee maker had dark flakes & buildup in its reservoir. Adjustable shower head would not adjust its position, nor could the shower/faucet selector be moved into the faucet position. Exterior-facing window would not lock and therefore could not be secured; this was a ground floor room, so anyone could have entered from its waist-height position. The exits to the exterior of the building did not lock and therefore anyone could enter the hotel from those points. Very cheap room, but you get what you pay for.

The property is undergoing renovation's and smells of paint can be strong and Hallways turned into obstacle courses at times! Walls are very thin and can hear conversations in hallway. Also, no longer offer breakfast despite listing this. The key machine was broken and so had to wait around to find the one front desk person to open room every time which was frustrating. Staff overall were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean but lamp didn’t work, batteries dead in TV remote, no phone and overhead lights way to bright would do better with a dimmer. Also no privacy curtain and so either curtain open or shut and all rooms on ground floor so people walking by all the time in outside parking .

We had to pay for parking at the hotel which was not information we were provided.

Facility was unmarked when entering, we had to guess which building reception was actually housed in. The parking lot was full of garbage and cigarette littered the ground near the front door. The lights in the parking lot were not lit at night. The front desk was unprofessional when we entered. She was wearing a sweatsuit and was incredibly disheveled. She took my ID for a scan but did not leave the photo copy in a secure spot safe from other people’s view. I had to stay and wait until she filed it away. Our keycard was also sitting on a desk when we entered raising questions about security. The hallways and main area smelt awful. It was a combination of cigarettes and animal dander. The carpet in the hallway was noticeably stained. Our room was satisfactory. The only noticeable issue was the amount of crumbs and other small objects on the floor, needed a vacuuming. The side door of the hotel closest to our room did not lock as intended creating another safety concern. Overall our experience was horrible and taught us not to trust Expedia reviews solely. We will more research off of the app in the future.

I booked a room here for only one night. Safe to say that’s all we needed to get the full experience. We pulled up to the motel - the state of the outside is spooky, gross, and rundown. Checked in fine although other people around us didn’t seem to be having the same experience. The hallways smelled of weed, musty alcohol and beer, animal pee, and just over all rotten stench. We entered the room to see stained carpet, crud all along the walls and floor boards. The lock on the door was busted off, indicating that it had been kicked in at some point. The bathroom smelled very musty and there were mysterious hairs all over. The towels seemed clean enough but again, smelled rancid. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door as well. We didn’t even try to investigate the coffee maker, fridge, or microwave so we have no further input on the appliances. The were a decent amount of guests there that seemed to be living there long term. I would not recommend being outside at night, or in the hall - there were many suspicious people that I would not want to cross paths with again. Barely slept because there was people yelling all night and coming in and out of the of their rooms nonstop. The nights sleep was also particularly awful due to the smell. I had to sleep with my face covered. Never in my life has a room smelled so bad that I could not sleep. The doors that lead to the hallway never locked as well. The card keys for our room barely worked, the one did not work at all.

Front desk clerk was probably the best part of this Motel, she was very friendly. After that everything was down hill. Room at first glance looked clean but after stripping the bed, finding the white sheets stained with who knows what, the mattress protector looking like it was peed on - we opted to go to target by Lysol spray and all new bedding , along with hand soap. After showering, then walking in the carpeted in bare feet we learned real quick to wear your shoes in the room as our feet turned black from the carpets within 30 minutes. The back side entrance was zip tied so anyone could access without a key fob. Pluses … the AC was nice and cold.

If you love dirty spotted bedding it’s the place to go. Also questionable stuff floating in toilet. Nothing in room was clean. Mold in windows. Definitely was not clean

Our room was filthy. We didn’t have any towels. Asked two times and never received towels. Finally left at 11:00 am to check in somewhere else. The walls were so thin, we could hear our neighbors conversations. Felt like we were the only ones who didn’t live there. Staff wouldn’t give me a refund for the next night because i didn’t give 24 hours notice. If i had known 24 hours in advance that I’d never receive towels, i would’ve gladly given them notice. Expedia also didn’t advocate for a refund. Super disappointed.

The front desk was on the phone with the manager. The manager said as long as we did not write a bad review they would fully refund us. The manager then refused the refund when Expedia contacted them. Absolutely disgusted with the room and the manager.

No breakfast as advertised, rooms were smelly and not clean, air conditioning units in the rooms were noisy and inefficient. Dirt piled up in the hallways, any noise in neighboring rooms and in the hallway could be heard clearly in the rooms as there was visible gaps in the doors.

The lobby was clean and breakfast was good. Lots of choices. The room was another thing. Dirty towels hanging on shower rod. Bedspread was absolutely filthy…..it went on the floor. Amazingly the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, but will think twice before booking “America’s Best” again.

Stained sheets, room smelled like cat urine, leftover soap in shower, garbage in bins, not much of a continental breakfast. America’s Best Value? Maybe 40 years ago.

Hall smelled of weed. Door knob was tricky. Hairs in bed and tub.

Mattresses extremely OLD, no mattress protectors, stained sheets and smelled musty. I slept in my clothes on top of bedding with my own blanket and no pillow. Disgusting

About 1am there was a loud fight. No breakfast really. Bed was old and lumpy. Old/dirty carpet/bathroom/everything. Door to get into the hotel didnt lock. Poor parking.

Get what you pay for / very load party people Friday nite / not very secure building / door to hallway was broken / limited hot water / bath towel for floor has cigarette burns on it

Beds were comfortable.

The TV and connecting cables were all disconnected, the heat didn't work, even when we set it to 90°F. The bed was very soft, clean, and extremely bouncy. It was not a Queen Size as advertised. The shower was great for shorter people, and very hot.

It’s worth the price paid.. WiFi is a disappointment.

Room was clean and that's where it ends. Outlets didn't work. New TV and Fridges but no breakfast even though they have a large dining area. No early check in. The area is a dump and easily the worst hotel in town after they demolished the other fleabag hotels.

It's cheap, so expect cockroaches and other bugs. The continental breakfast is bare bones serving essentially old bread and bagels. Sunny D for juice option, and milk for cereal. The toaster is almost broken down. Some staff are nice, others severely rude. Limited electrical outlets no usb for phones. The wifi is surprisingly fast.

Rooms were sub par. First on floors and next door neighbor watched war movies on full blast all night.

Cost was phenomenal. Very good deal. New carpet and bedding. Unit is very old and shows it. Only negative is hair in tub and table had not been cleaned off . I took washcloth and scrubbed table clean and cleaned out the tub. Oh, since new carpwt put in TV turned on but no signal and couldnt get working( couldnt watch Vikings game 😒 New owners i was told so are in process of remodeling/updating etc. Staff very nice and attentive, just alittle effort would go along way in cleanliness!!

the walls were to thin, the tv wouldn't work and there were cords hanging off the wall and over the door.

The rooms are currently being updated, but the staff was amazing and accommodating.

Terrible and weird staff

America's Best Value Inn had no record of my reservation. The front desk clerk was not sure there was a room for me BUT if there was it would cost $140 and not the $86 I was quoted. The higher fee was not commensurate with the state of the property. I left and found anther better hotel.

I did not stay there. The guy in front of me in line had been waiting for over an hour. He said that they had checked him into a room, and when he entered the room someone else was already checked in. My friend and I did not feel safe so we found a different hotel to stay at.

The room was under renovation. It wasn’t very clean but the staff was incredible. They were kind, courteous and very helpful.

Staff was great, the only inconvenience was being double billed somehow either through booking company or the property billing as well.. but it was reimbursed .

Hotel is dated. Old property , badly needs renovations. However the bed was good, we rated the hotel as average. Location is good, beside other hotels. Good for a night. Air conditioner didn't work.

1st, while Expedia said on the website my card would only be charged once I checked in, the guy at the desk told me he charged the card at 2 am, 10 hours earlier. 2nd, there were nearly no lights outside. Several groups of people huddled together in the darkness. Third, the first room provided still had the bed stripped down with dirty bedding on the bed. A pizza box was in the garbage can, and lots of obvious dirt on the floor. The floor had not been shampooed in years. I requested another room. The 2nd room was just as dirty, and there was a ton of body hair in the bottom of the tub. I asked for my money back which they did refund. I went to another hotel.

We never even entered the building. We pulled in to the parking lot and our mild dropped open. My daughters would not get out of the car due to the condition of the hotel. It looked very, very shady and actually unsafe never will stay there. I don’t care if I lost my money because we didn’t stay, but we got a different hotel. They should not even be an option in Hotels.com. I went to another hotel and told them where we were gonna stay and apparently the police there are there a lot and there’s a lot of drug activity there.

Location of the property is very convenient with easy access to most of the City. Continental breakfast is a very nice offering. The only improvement suggestion I have is maintenance related for our specific room - the frame for the door to the room was not fit correctly or had sustained some damage. You could actually see into the room through the crack between the frame and door at the lower quarter of the door/frame. I had to hang my coat over the gap to block it off.

The area is where thete are creeps and the area is a few minutes from the share house

Older motel. Price was right. Breakfast was minimal, but okay. Staff was friendly!

Front desk super friendly/helpful. Could walk to the Speedway Restaurant...hopping place for Tuesday and great ribeye. Breakfast was plentiful.

Clean, pleasant workers, good breakfast.

Checked in went good. I went to the room got settled in and did find some un cleanliness to the room. Food under a bedside table, next to the base of the bed and old food in the fridge. I decided head uptown for supper got out I tried to get back into the room and the key card didn't work. Went up and got a different card to get in to the room. There was not much for breakfast there. When I checked out the next day I did tell them about the food that was not cleaned up the previous cleaning day.
