Property is a bit dated, but clean. Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 hot tubs were closed while we were there. One tiny 4 person hot tub was open. The pool area is "weird" with the pool in an enclosed glass area with 3 small (4 person) hot tubs outside of the glasses pool area. Just weird. Breakfast was fine: scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, and other options.

Hotel was decent. Beds were fairly firm and uncomfortable. We booked this hotel for the sole fact that it had a 1.5ft deep kiddie pool. The kiddie pool was great unfortunately only 1 of the 4 hot tubs was working. It looks like the other 3 have been down for quite some time. The pool was a little colder than i thought it should be but we fared alright.

Furnishings are older but it’s clean and the pool area is nice. Staff were excellent. No elevator but only like 10 steps to get to second floor. Overall worth the price

Hotel room was nice and clean. The plug on the bathtub wouldn’t stay sealed kept making a lot of nose and water kept draining. Only 1 of 4 hot tubs worked one of the main reasons I stay there is the hot tubs but didn’t get to use it.

This is a great hotel and I love staying here. The only downs about it is that the pool was cold like the lake so we wouldn't swim in it and only one of the 3 hot tubs were working.

The property is older but it is clean. It has one of the lower rated per night which is understandable due to the age. The only thing that was disappointing was that one of the 2 adult hot tubs was not working, and only had a max capacity of 4

Had to wait 8 min to check in. No one around. Sign was on desk saying had to step out but come on when its check in time staff should be there. Room paper coffee cups were used and put back in plastic wrap and looked like new again but were not. Coffee machine dirty and had used coffee bag in it still. Not cleaned. Ice bucket dirty to not cleaned. Floor was vacuumed in open area only nothing moved to vacuum. Disappointed no maid service still. Time to get more staff. Won’t be staying there anymore. Has gone down hill since merging with choice. We are not people to complain but this was it. Cleanliness should be kept up.

Cleanliness was the biggest concern. The toilet seat was dirty on the underside... the microwave oven was dirty inside... the bathtub had a film on the bottom...possible cleaning solution.. We would not stay there again...

We arrived and had asked for a first floor room, got a second floor room, air conditioning did not work, we arrived at 11pm at night, room wasn’t terribly warm sleep there had to leave early morning when we got back around 6pm room was already 75 degrees told them air wasn’t working they offered to bring a fan, afte my wife went down they finally gave us a first floor room with air.

Our stay was extremely unsatisfactory. The room was very cold due to a draft coming in through the outside wall. We turned the heat to 80 just to be comfortable enough to sleep. We also weren't able to shower or bathe ourselves and our children because the shower drain was completely clogged. The fan didn't work in the bathroom and the vent was completely caked in dust.

First and foremost, the front desk receptionist was outstanding, and very kind. Our room wasn’t great, it didn’t “feel” clean. Carpet in the hallway was full of popcorn kernels and dirt. There was also an old stale smoke smell. Which I kindly spoke to the receptionist about, and she asked if our room was going to be okay. She would have accommodated had I asked to be moved. The breakfast area was very dirty in the morning, which was a huge turnoff for breakfast/coffee. However, they do have a pancake maker! Both available hot tubs were quite dirty and had black things covering the bottom as well as floating throughout. We likely wouldn’t stay again~ BUT, if on a strict budget this would be an okay place to stay. And I cannot say enough how kind the front desk receptionist was. But definitely needs some updates, and much better housekeeping.

Uff da, where do I start. Room had a funky mold smell. Furniture looks like it was bought from a second hand store and on all of the edges the stain was worn down to the natural wood color. Bunch of black mold around the window. Beds were rather hard. Paper thun walls could here one of the neighboring rooms taking a leak. Fixtures in bathroom looked like they were from the 80's. Good on them that they still worked. Weird bathroom mirror were I could watch myself take a leak. On the positive side it was super cheap and I dont think I got bed bug bites.

The hotel is in much need of repairs and renovations. The room doors slam so loud. This was very disruptive for sleep. Hallway was lined with garbage bags and dirty towels from the time I got there until I left. Very unpleasant and unsafe. curtains did not close so the outside light kept me up. No pool towels to be found.

I don’t know how people were recently giving this place a 10 out of 10. If you’re ok with 90’s decor that has probably been in use since the 90’s it’s a decent enough place, however I can not stress enough how awful the beds are. Squeak with every movement, classic “wrap around” style when you lay in the middle of the bed. Just awful awful beds. I stay in hotels about 125 nights a year and the beds at Rodeway were quite likely the worst I’ve slept in over the past decade. Cleanliness seemed to be bare minimum, room could definitely use a deep deep “spring” cleaning. Shower was okay pressure, the shower head was terribly low. Lots of hot water at 10 am. Fixtures very old and dated. Pool area looked good, but was extremely busy so did not use. Did not take part in breakfast but seemed to have a decent set up and area. The hotel was sold out for the night and there is not enough parking so I had to park on the street. Staff seemed nice and decent enough, with the exception of the house keeper that barged into our room at 11:10 without knocking. As a final good bye, the ice machine quit working while I filled a water canteen for the day.

The room was clean, but somewhat run down. We had almost zero water pressure in the bathroom faucet (room 209)...it was basically a trickle. The staff was very friendly (Jose checked us in, very nice and professional). We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked really nice. Overall, great value for the price.

We aren’t picky when it comes to hotels, but a few things to note about the property… we had a pool-side room which was nice for access/ease, but the room had a strong chlorine aroma which was enough to bother sensitive eyes. It was also very warm and we couldn’t get it cooler. The thing that affected us the most though was that the lights stayed on in the pool area all night (including the light for our patio right outside the window) and there were no black-out blinds or way to turn the light off. So if you need dark to sleep, do not get a poolside room.

The air conditioning wasn't working properly e the room was too warm preventing us to have a good night of sleep. The reception staff (excellent ladies) promptly offered us a fan until the maintenance could check the machine, but it wasn't enough. Other than that (which can happen in any other hotel) the hotel was quite good for the price paid.

The front desk staff (Helene) was friendly and helpful. We really appreciated her service. However, the condition of the hotel was poor. Trash was over flowing from the garbage cans, rug was dirty, and the hot tubs were either closed or smelt swampy. While I was trying to put my baby down for a nap, a group of housekeepers started arguing outside my door. They were yelling and using profanities, very unprofessional. When I open my door to make sure everyone was alright, no one even apologized for all the noise they were making.

We booked 2 nights and a severe winter storm was coming in so we tried to cancel the 2nd night when we checked in. The front desk staff said we needed to contact Expedia so we did. We were told they would send an email requesting approval. Later we were told by hotel staff they had not yet been contacted and since we were paying Expedia it needed to be approved by Expedia before they could approve it. Expedia told me just the opposite and then said they never got a reply from the hotel so we were told to check out by 11am so we would not be told we never checked out. So we did and had to find things to do from 11am-5pm because of the reason we were in that town (activity was at 6 and planned to leave town at 8pm due to incoming weather that night). In the end we never received approval for canceled night and had to pay for both nights even with the attempts of canceling.

We were woken up by staff who were not wearing uniforms at 3:00 am and 3:35 am telling us that we hadn’t paid for our room or that we were in the wrong room (even though they had our information). It was difficult to understand the employee. They banged on the door and woke and scared my two young children. When a second employee produced the receipt with our information they apologized. When I complained to the manager he contributed it to hiring of new staff that were being trained and that he had to work 18 hours!

We have stayed there many times always good , however this time the breakfast left a lot to be desired. First morning no milk either from the dispenser or a carton in te fridge. Limited bread and bagels this was at 8:30 am second morning we had milk but once again very limited choices in bread products also no yogurt. however this was after 9:00 am.

Great stay. Helpful staff. The hot tub was delightful. Should get all 3 working. We were very disappointed with the breakfast. Only saw sweet things like muffins and bagels. There was no bread, no fruit. We chose to have breakfast elsewhere. Thankful quiet nights. We would stay again.

The bathroom counter was very small. The toilet seat was not secured to the toilet. The breakfast ran out of items an hour before closing, i.e. muffins, and pancake batter. No fruit offered at all. Because of the close parking lot, we were awoken at 6:00 a.m. with a truck running his motor for 10 minutes.
