I booked 2 queen and pull out couch room… when I checked in they had no room like that at all. So got screwed out of a weekend stay in a tiny room and the pool was cold and the hot tub had a disgusting film would rather have my money back

Stayed in a King bed Jacuzzi Suite w/ fireplace & double sized sofa sleeper. Jacuzzi = single person jetted tub inside bathroom area, walk-in shower. There was also a small TV in bathroom. Bathroom lights had motion detection, so not searching for switch in darkness was great. Double sized sofa sleeper w/ ottomon to store supplies for that. Pool/Hot tub area was small but functioning. Definitely overdue for fresh paint on surface bottoms. Couldn't find a on/off/timer anywhere to turn hot tub jets on... My room was freezing when I arrived. Possibly hadn't been used for months as the thermostat was still set for AC/cooling. Warmed up fast once I turned on the fireplace & adjusted the heater settings right for February winter temps.

The pool area was dirty with towels and toys at bottom of pool. Noticed the exercise room had a dirty towel on floor for the three days/two nights we were there. The picture of pool on website did not accurately represent the pool that was mostly 3 ft 9 in with a very small strip, near one edge, that was supposed to be 4 ft (? in). Not at all able to enjoy pool.

The room was clean. Housekeeping is only for more than 3 days so we had to ask for toilet paper, etc. The continental breakfast was not great. We were hoping for more options. The hot tub was a big disappointment. It was open but there was something wrong. It looked really old, there was mold or something. Dark spots. I was embarrassed to have chosen the hotel for other family coming to Grand Forks with us.

We have stayed at this hotel for years. Love this hotel!!! But…. Renovations and improvements are needed. Time to start replacing some furniture. Pool was clean but could use a good painting so it looked clean.

The staff is great, good and helpful folks working there! The room, however, was not particularly clean, the floor was dirty and the sheets were stained and not fresh. We kept having to ask for towels as there weren’t enough in our room. We had to ask for toilet paper which seems a silly thing to have to ask for at a hotel. We didn’t have a wastebasket in the bathroom, which proved an inconvenience. We were also asked to take our garbage out to the dumpster which seemed odd.

The place was very run down.....lumpy tiny pillows, threadbare wash clothes, peeling office chair, no shower curtain (the staff did get me one when asked) stairwell was full of dirt, breakfast eggs had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Overpriced for the conditions of the hotel.

The hotel is in need of some TLC; the phone did not work in my room, as well as the TV which needed to be reset. The carpet in my room and the hallways was not clean, there was trash on the floor in my room from previous guests, and the door to bathroom literally had greasy hand prints on it. Th walls were chipping with paint and the strong air fresheners in the lobby and hallways were overpowering, giving the feeling they were covering the small of something. The person who checked us in was not wearing any sort of uniform or professional dress and while friendly, was not the level of service at check in I would expect.

This used to be a very nice hotel but it’s definitely gone down hill. Front desk staff wearing a Slipknot t-shirt never asked for my ID when checking me in. Three housekeeping member were arguing loudly and cussing right in front of us. Room was pretty clean and comfortable but the halls were filthy. Pool was DISGUSTING!! Breakfast was good but the garbages were overflowing and the apple juice cups were rotten. Management needs to pay some attention here!

We enjoyed the morning breakfast. We died like when we arrive there was a sign saying they would be back shortly. Which was longer than I expected. We were very tired from the drive. Didn't like that there was dirty panties under our desk.

We arrived after 9pm and the hallway was not Clean, the elevator had garbage in it and there was clothing by the elevators washing machine. The location needs a paint job. The room was mostly clean, staff weee super friendly. No options for gluten free and dairy free at the breakfast. Not much for restaurants in the vicinity. Also the a/c unit was super loud and we turned it off and opened the window for fresh air. Not sure how this place got such high ratings.

I don’t know if it’s because they don’t have the staff however it wasn’t very clean. Stained sheet, stained towel, dirty hot tub, 3 Kleenex, ran out of towels for pool area. When the shortage of towels at the pool, the member at the desk just said that they needed to wash some towels then.

It’s fine. Our first room had a broken bed, they swapped us to another room. When we went to build the hide-a-bed we had no bedding. The front desk said it was there, so we made due moving bedding from other beds. The staff would best be described as present. Breakfast was not good. There was no coffee, the waffle maker ran out of waffle mix, and the eggs were barely edible. I’m not one to complain, as overall it was fine….but everything was bare minimum.

Our stay was good. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The hotel was quiet and the room was spacious. I really loved that we had a microwave and a coffee maker in our room. The desk manager told us that they will be upgrading the rooms in November 2025.

Took 2 hours to check-in and we arrived at 6pm, we weren’t into our room until 8pm. HIRE MORE STAFF IF IT IS BUSY. Key Cards needed to be changed 3 times because they would stop working or wouldn’t work entirely. Would not recommend staying here.

I am locked in to this expensive rate at a 2 star hotel. I did not get the sofa bed that was mentioned on the booking, the fan does not work so I can help not to hear the noise in the breakfast room where people are having a party drinking their own beer and playing loud music. There does not seem to be confidence that the front desk staff can settle things down. The first clerk laughed at me that I didn’t get the room I expected because I booked on Expedia. This is not a nice welcoming hotel. I feel quite taken advantage. No one should receive this poor reception and support in a hotel.

Check-in was awful. Check-in time was 3:00. We showed up at 4:30 and he room wasn’t ready. We were fifth in a list of people waiting to check-in. We waited two hours before we got our room. We had to wait in the lobby as the clerk at the front desk said if we left we would get bumped off the list. Lobby bathrooms were dirty with no soap or paper towel. Zero accountability or apologies from from staff. Manager had left and conveniently was back in until after check out time the next day. Was supposed to call me to discuss this mess up and I haven’t hear from her. Would not recommended.

THE WORST!! we booked our reservation more than five months in advance, confirmed and paid for our room prior to getting there and us along with another couple so two rooms total paid for confirmed get there and they don’t have a reservation and they’re sold out for the night and they tell us, Oh well we have a new manager, so that’s probably why your reservation got lost in the system. Will never ever book this property again, and will tell everyone to never book with them.

Breakfast the morning of 6/25/25 egg "omelette" was served cold...I brought it to the attention of the gentleman working there and he stated that it just came out of the oven...either it wasn't heated up long enough or the oven is faulty...he presented a small argument, uopn which I told him to try it! My son and I left and got breakfast at a restaurant instead. The carpets throughout the hotel, especially in the two elevators are very dirty and really should be replaced! Otherwise, our stay was fine and I would stay there again.

Front desk employees who look after the breakfast details need to be more aware of the food. Multiple times over the 3 mornings the hot food was empty and had to go ask for it to be replenished. Just kept being one thing after another. Person just talked on cell phone for hours and not paying attention to what needed to be done. Asked for tea bags and was just told no, we only have coffee. First hotel I have ever stayed at where coffee is served but no tea.

The check-in was quick and easy. The attendant was friendly and helpful and accommodated our request for a third floor room. The room is spacious and clean and we had a good night’s sleep! I also appreciate the breakfast that was offered in the morning.

The beds were rock hard and stained. Another disappointment was the breakfast that was provided. The breakfast didn’t have any meats or water available to the guest. As a customer I pay extra for the amenity it is not worth the extra cost.

Overall the hotel is nice, our room was clean and spacious. Desk staff were friendly at check in and greeted us whenever we walked by. The only downside was breakfast. The first morning there was no coffee, forks, waffle batter, orange juice and all the tables and counters were dirty. There was only one person behind the desk. We did not go back the next day. Judging by the help wanted signs in Grand Forks I'll chalk this up to a lack of staff.
