First time staying there with my family and I thought it was a great hotel. Clean, breakfast was pretty decent. 5 hot tubs, a pool and a beautiful concourse to hang out in if you don’t want to be stuck in your room. Beds aren’t the comfiest though.

Only half the hot tubs are warm, the air conditioning didn’t work in our room, the outside doors don’t actually look so anyone can walk in. Breakfast was great thought!

The check-in was great. Friendly employees. The property and building is beautiful. There are 7 hot tubs, large pool, small arcade and a beautiful waterfall with a coy pond. Definitely stay here again.

I am not sure why this place has so many positive reviews. It was actually recommended by a couple moms to me as well as a place to stay with kids. The first thing I noticed when we walked into our room was that there were crumbs all over the floor, chairs and table. There was a broken piece of the fridge under the table as well. Hairs from previous guests on bathroom floor. There were also oily/greasy fingerprints on the chairs, tables and doorhandles like someone had just rubbed their hands in butter and then touched all over the room. Our sheets were stained yellow (used an lot) and there were visible sauce stains on both beds. I will try to attach photos. The pool was nice and seemed clean enough, it wasn’t overly busy for a weekday, which was also nice. The continental breakfast was also to be expected, It was decent. I don’t think we will be returning to the hotel based on the room cleanliness though. I found that very off putting. Even my 9 year old commented on the hair and food from previous guests.

I would not recommend this hotel. I have stayed in the past and it used to be excellent, this is not the case anymore. We arrived and checked in to a dirty room. Blood stains and hairs in one of the beds, someone’s snacks left in the bedside table and carpets that clearly had not been vacuumed. The lobby and hot tub area was ok however the bottom of the pool and hot tubs was not clean with debris. There are much nicer properties to spend your money and time at in Grand Forks.

Hotel appeared to be clean. Our room was not very clean. There was blood on the wall in the bathroom next to the sink - which I cleaned; and the bathroom door had what looked like blue toothpaste all over it - which again I cleaned! There aren’t many amenities- a pool, spas and that was all we saw, but it close to many restaurants.

Staff are very friendly! For the age of the hotel, it is kept in excellent condition. Breakfast is always hot, containers are kept full, and the breakfast area is kept clean. We have stayed here many nights and are never disappointed.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property and the room was very clean. There were a lot of breakfast options which are included with every reservation. While the rooms are clean and large, they are very outdated (beds, furniture, bathrooms, carpet) and need a renovation. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear everything in neighboring rooms. Hotel room doors also slam closed, so it is difficult to sleep when the hotel is busy.

The hotel was alright, this was our 3rd time staying at cmon inn over the years, it seems to have gone down hill. The beds used to be nice and comfortable, not anymore. Ours were slanted feet were higher then our head. Rooms are adequate but beware that you will hear every word that is spoken in the next room. Rooms are not sound proof at all! Not worth the money spent to stay here really.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good. The courtyard was very nice with several hot tubs all around. The rooms are very out dated and the walls are super thin, I could hear conversations word for word happening in the room next door and in the hallway. Rooms don’t have individual AC units, therefor you can’t have the fan going, I personally like the noise of the fan to sleep at night, thankfully the front desk had one I was able to borrow.

Nothing here has any bearing on the staff. My complaints reflect architectural shortcomings. Friday and Saturday night, if you prefer to sleep before 2 a.m., come prepared with ear plugs. The walls may as well be cardboard. Normal conversation from adjacent rooms and in the hallway is easily heard. Doors to the rooms lack the pneumatic door closers that cushion against slamming, so you're likely to hear them frequently slamming closed against their metal frames well into the night.

I was very disappointed in the middle aged woman at the hotel check in. She never said hi or welcome when we walked in I made eye contact and was asked “last name?”, not a welcoming experience. There was a younger girl that was very sweet. She came to our room to check the cool but not her fault it still didn’t work. Our room was clean, our shower drain was plugged, no body wash in the dispenser and the coolest our room got was 74. We woke up a couple times in the middle of the night sweating through the sheets, about 5:30 am we were woke by our 80 year old neighbours having early morning fun (Thankful that only lasted 2 mins because the male was very loud). Went to check out, same middle aged woman said “your checked out”. No, thank you for the stay, how were things she clearly didn’t have any customer service which is too bad. Usually when we come there is a gentleman that is very friendly and kind. We hope it will be better if we ever come back.

Roxanne made me feel unwelcome almost immediately upon arrival -- The room wasn't extremely clean, but not in terrible shape. It was the initial experience upon walking in the front doors that ruined the experience this time around. In her defense, she seemed to be a housekeeper who was stuck filling in up front or something so if that were the case.. at least it makes sense. Doesn't change the customer experience however~

We appreciated that we were able to get in a little earlier for our check in as my daughter had worked the night before and was able to have a nap. Area is close to everything we needed. Thankful for the mini fridge and breakfast!

It’s the best property if you want to be RIGHT beside all of the best dining and shopping. Lots of it is even walkable. The free continental breakfast is also a plus. Saves you that little bit of money. You definitely aren’t getting luxury but you are getting affordable quality. Overall a solid stay.

Everything was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the use of artificial eggs for breakfast. I know most places use these but it takes no longer to make real scrambled eggs and eggs have came way down in cost. Everything else gets best ratings

Courtyard was nice. Hallways was dirty. The breakfast was always empty or very low. Same breakfast every single morning. No variety for main meal. Was told by staff that it was too expensive to have bacon in the morning when I asked for them to change up the meat and eggs. Staff was rude and not understanding. Especially when guests were noisy. We will never stay there again. We left and found another hotel Candelwood and Suites, much nicer and better priced even with a bigger room and much cleaner and even had a kitchenette. Staff was even nicer.
