Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Omaha - 120th and Maple by IHG

All was good except the swimming pool was closed for repairs, and the breakfast buffet had instant oatmeal in packets instead of real oatmeal in a pot.

You have ice buckets in the rooms, but there are no ice machines on property .

The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. The pool was closed, the ice machine was broken. The coffee maker in the room did not work. One of the coffee makers in the dining area was not working either. Seems they have a lot of maintenance to do. Especially with it being Labor Day weekend you would think at least the pool be open.

All online says has pool hot tub and is working called to make sure and said yes got there after $140 for one night , no hot tub and the pool was down for repair I asked to cancel my reservation, said no and wouldn’t give refund, the room was very nice but only really wanted and paid for was pool/hot tub not at all satisfied and would really not recommend… would like a refund please

The property is being remodeled. We had a newly remodeled room, which was very nice, the lobby was underwhelming. We stayed on the second floor, there was no elevator, and no ice machine.

The hotel felt very safe and in general very clean. However, the pool was broken, and that was a main reason for us staying there with children. They shouldn’t advertise having one if it doesn’t work! Also, our fridge didn’t work in the room, so we brought back leftovers, put them away the first night and they spoiled. Bummer! Price was good, location was convenient.

My family has stayed here since the hotel was new, and unfortunately, things have gone downhill as they tend to do. When new, this hotel was fantastic, easily 5 out of 5 stars. Now, I struggle to give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. The pool (one of the main draws for a family with 4 kids) was broken through our entire 5-day stay. No one even appeared to be working to fix it. The elevator did a little "dance" on the third floor before opening the doors, and it scared my kids enough that they took the stairs for the entire rest of the week, even after the elevator's up and down shaking went away on the second or day. Not sure if it was by chance or from maintenance. The breakfast was the same items...every....single...day. No variety whatsoever. I'd never seen this at a hotel breakfast before. Even the signature cinammon rolls were dry and unenjoyable. The best part of breakfast was the automated pancake maker. The mattresses in our room were very comfortable, but finding stray hairs from previous visitors in the freshly made beds and shower was off-putting. The thermostat wouldn't keep the A/C going consistently and would shut itself off at least twice a day and would have to be manually restarted. The housekeeping staff were friendly/great and would turn down the beds, empty trash, and restock towels daily, which I haven't seen offered at other mid-range hotels in years. Most of the front staff were also great. We loved staying here in the past, but we won't be staying again.

The computer system was down when I was checking in. The staff were working on it with the corporate office. Although it took about an hour to resolve, the staff were very professional and accommodating. The pool was a bit small and the hot tub was not working (and was covered up). The room was nice, and there was plenty of free parking.

Went here because of snowstorm. There wasnt any snowremoval. Evevator was down. Ice machine on our floor didnt work. It looked like front desk workers parked under front dropoff canopy blocking area for guests. Vlinds in room dont work. Electric. I usually dont put a review good or bad. But this needs to be addreased. Breakfast ok. Bed ok.

Room was clean except for the cough drops on the floor under the furniture. These did not belong to us.

It was extremely clean and comfortable

Overall, it was great! The only thing that I didn’t like was that the floors in our room were very dirty.

Hotel was fairly updated and in overall good condition. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was gross. It appeared to have been cleaned but there was old food on the floor and dead bugs under the bed and in the shower, including a bed bug. There didn't appear to be any live bugs

Very clean comfortable room. Quiet neighborhood. Large tv with lots of cable selections. Good hot break that would appeal to all family members. Definitely would stay again.

Was given extremely noisy room

The bed broke from my son just sitting on it and I cut my finger trying to fix it. An offer for a discount or something would’ve been nice. The staff were all super nice though throughout the stay.

I am lifetime platinum at Marriott and have spent many nights at Fairfields and similar brands. This was not even close to that level. Room and halls smelled like antiseptic chemicals. Hotel was full with high school groups who were extremely loud late into the night, and there was zero hot water every morning. Desk chair height adjuster was broken - it was so low it hurt to sit in the chair. Roll-up window shade didn’t open more than a foot. No bags for dirty laundry provided … I have never seen that before! Not staying at a Holiday Inn Express ever again.

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of counter space for my travel kit. Some road noise but not bad. Nice area to walk in the morning.

Bed was comfortable. Area outside was under construction or something. The rooms have super thin walls. You could hear kids screaming and running. The stomping on the floor above us was annoying.

The breakfast composition was amazing, and was probably one of the best tasting hotel breakfasts I’ve had! Moreover, it was noticeably clean. Many hotels are clean, but this one it felt clean! Only a few members of the staff weren’t attentive and missed greeting me. The only downside was the shower water pressure. “Mountain mist” is the best way to describe it. Overall, a great stay and would visit again.

The housekeeping staff was the friendliest I've ever met. I was sick for the first few days there and the gave y extra tissues and ib really appreciated that. Weekdays you can get an early check-in if you're room is available and mine was on a Thursday. Weekends it looks unlikely you can get an early check-in, YMMV. There is a Carver's next door and extra food optional a short distance away and the breakfast there is actually pretty good.

Checking in took much longer than expected. Toilet clogged from previous guest, but the maintenance person apparently only shows up when he wants. I had to pick up a plunger from the front desk (they couldn't even bring it to my room) unclog it, put the plunger back into a plastic bag and bring it back downstairs.

Front staff wasn't super friendly at check-in, rooms were just ok, only one ice machine in the entire hotel was in working order. Cooking staff was wonderful, very friendly and breakfast was good. Just wish the hotel was in better repair.

It met expectations for the brand. Staff was friendly. Several restaurants within walking distance but sidewalks a mess- not hotels fault of course

great access to the north side of Omaha

Close to Boys Town Hospital (our destination). Rooms are clean and quiet. Pool is heated but no hot tub. You can tell there used to be a hot tub but it is no longer accessable. We had to be out the door by 6:20am. Breakfast smelled good but was not yet open. However I honestly did not check breakfast times before booking and I didn't have time to ask if we could just grab something.

Easy to get to. Easy check in. Area was safe feeling. Culver’s next to it if you needed a place to eat. I’d stay again. Could always be a bit cheaper.

Noisy, the bed was hard and lumpy, no water pressure in the shower and the complimentary breakfast was disgusting.

Room was big and modern. The property was entirely clean. Breakfast usually turns me off but it was well managed here and very good. Fresh daily. This is a great hotel.
