Jacuzzi was dirty . The fridge was old rusted and dirty. The ac filter was dirty. There is something crawling around in the bathroom in the walls/pipes trying to get in sounds like a mouse everytime you go in it makes noise

Needs upgraded paid extra for a hottibe that did not work right. Was not a clean

The staff was very friendly. Room was pretty clean. The hot tub was nice. The shower was decent. Free parking is great.

check in was long and very inconvenient, booked a jacuzzi room, jacuzzi was dirty and could get any hot water anyway, microwave dirty, grounds around trashed, no one to check me out upon leaving so now I need to chase my deposit.

The bathroom smelled horrible, the tv didn’t work, there was no hot water for two days. I booked a room with a hot tub and got cold water. The hot tub jets don’t work and the staff was very rude except for the son.

Wanted to have the hot tub cleaned and they couldn't do it

Hot tub not to clean and poor hot water and bathrooms to heating to long to warm the room no trash can have to asked for one. Pillow and bed I give it a 6 out of 10 towels old not to good

I was supposed to have a room with a jacuzzi and I didn't get that I don't know if that was expedia's fault or Royal lodges fault but I would like to get that corrected thank you

This room was disgusting to the point I'm seeking a refund with my bank. We showed up after booking the king suite with the hot tub. The manager brought us into one of those rooms then said we couldn't stay there. I thought he meant because it was blatantly filthy and had to put us in a different one because it needed to a cleaning still, but it was because we only booked for one night according to him and you're only "allowed" to have the hot tub rooms if you book multiple nights. That wasn't mentioned absolutely anywhere in the listing. We instead got put in a room with three double beds. For two people. The AC didn't work, refrigerator didn't work, TV didn't work. After driving an hour to get there we decided to just say but it was one thing after another between the filth and weird things. Hello kitty shower curtain put on backwards in the shower. A sign saying no service animals on the front office which is illegal. The parking lot was fine and safe. The manager repeatedly tried getting us to agree to stay there for a week even after we said we weren't interested. I can not recommend staying away from this location enough.

The place is out dated. Got the hot tub room and there was cracks and holes in the tiles. I had to clean tue tub because of the soap scum. There were holes in the walls and the one hole was covered with a mouse glue trap. This is unacceptable. The place should not even been offered on your site.

Don’t believe the height the pictures that’s on the website is a lie. It’s filthy nasty and smells horrible to top it off. It has mold and bugs as big as your fistin, Completely disgusting. Don’t waste your money cause it’s nonrefundable so if you get there and you paid, you will be stuck in that dirty ass place. I wish I could have uploaded pictures, but I was so disgusted, I stood outside the door in disbelief.

If I could give this place a negative mark for cleaniness I would. This place was absolutely filthy so much that I left to find another place to stay. Sheets were dirty with stains, paint was chipping off the sides of every wall, and the bathtub was literally warping out of the floor. The desk was stripped of varnish and the door barely stayed shut. Only by the deadbolt.

It was run down and dirty

Gross.. i booked for 2 nights.. i got there at 8pm Friday night.. it took a half hour to get checked in.. i checked out within 10mins of seeing the room.. the toilet had no top to back of it.. dust and dirt in every corner.. the cover for the bed had burns in it .and they used white duck tape to cover bigger holes, 2 towels for 2 days.. it was ridiculous..i thought i was being Pranked ..

It was very dirty. The sheets were dirty. When we removed them we noticed the mattress cover had bloodstains on it. We asked front office for new sheets. We never received them. We wound up buying our own sheets for the bed! Upon checkout, our complaints fell on deaf ears. The office didn;t care. You get what you pay for. Don't stay here.

This property was very dirty and numerous fire code violations. Bugs ran across the floor in front of us. Floor so sticky when you walked across the floor your shoes stuck to it. Very nasty.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Room was big. I recommend it for those who wants affordable good places to live. I like the views from the lodge also

The owner tied to get extra money from me at check in. The room looks decent but had spider webs in every corner. Has that motel smell. There was spider webs and centipedes in the tub. The tub drains was full of hair. Also the water stinks bad could not even brush my teeth in the morning. The owner even tried to hustle me for $10 at checkout.

Long check-in process for one night. The room was very basic with no outlets.

It’s was ok not to bad just few things I didn’t like one the guy at the desk wasn’t to friendly it was late he must have been tired the room was missing the remote to the tv and I tried to do it manually but the tv kept saying no service so I was stuck without a tv all night the bath tub looked horrible to the point I just waited to leave to shower elsewhere but other than that I slept good no bugs like the rest of these rooms smh

All the motels on this road are basically the same. They look the same and they’re laid out the same. They look nice on the outside, but unfortunately inside, there’s chipped paint, broken fixtures, and worn out bathtubs. I must say, however, that I slept well in both motels that I chose this month, so I can’t complain about the beds!

Door wouldn't lock and the AC was broken

It’s an ok place for a last minute motel. But, it’s not the Hilton of course. The owners live on the property. You only get one key and have to pay for a second. The room was clean and the owners are accommodating. There were some esthetics and cosmetic issues but everything worked including the WiFi. Pillows were shabby and blankets had holes in them. Out of 5 I figure it a 2.8.

Absolutely horrible, the service here is the worst I would never ever come here to be mistreated the way I was again by staff.

They kept my $20 deposit that was held for "smoking" when i didnt smoke in the room and i was told im nit getting it back because they THOUGHT i did.

Staff very nice and friendly

For some reason, I reservation went in under two different names and the hotel manager wasn't willing to look even though I specifically asked him to. He then tried to charge for another room for $200 more, even though both rooms booked had cleared the account already. We checked the room and the bathroom was gross. Since we didn't have two sperate rooms like we reserved and werent going to pay $200 more, we left. Hotels.com refunded the rooms and we went somewhere else after 90 mins of driving in circles trying to find somewhere else. He called and told me he found the other reservation under the other name I asked him to check. He said he refused to refund, and we should return but we had already checked into another hotel, which was cleaner and less expensive and had rooms. He hung up on me.

Very slow, I was waiting outside in the cold for a very long time while I was waiting to get checked in. And they were taking along time to give me back my deposit. Never again.

The owner and his son are very nice. The view of Atlantic City is great.

The Office Personnel treated myself with highly courteous service. The Hotel itself is convenient too Atlantic City and surrounding areas.

Personally i love this hotel, great people and clean big rooms for good price. Always come here and never have an issue, right next to ac.

They look nice on the outside, but unfortunately inside, there’s chipped paint, broken fixtures, and worn out bathtubs.
