Rooms in West Tower seem outdated and old. The ice machine was also broken on the floor we stayed. The shower made odd screeching noises every time it was in use, and the pressure seemed significantly lower during later hours of the day. Did not get a good feeling of cleanliness. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. Room was not cleaned by staff in between that time. There were mystery stains on the floor in the room, as well as sand that had not been vacuumed up from previous guest stays. The safe in our room was also broken. The view from room was at least nice, and the one restaurant we ate at, chickies and Pete’s was very good with a nice waitress named Tiffany. Indoor pool had very cloudy water. Lots of hair and fake eyelashes laying around the outside of pool. Outdoor pool seemed to have better vibes and music but more crowded. Difficult to access parking lot directly. Can only enter from one floor. Long wait for the elevators that lead from casino to parking lot. No clear staircases to go from one parking floor to another that I could easily find. Would have to walk up and down the ramps if you don’t want to wait for the parking lot elevators. Check in process was not great. They charged $15 extra to check in early, was only 30 min early. The staff were nice enough when approached, but it seemed they were doing the bare minimum as it was nearing the end of busy summer season, and it was impossible to call down to the front desk as they never picked up the phone.

I stayed at the Tropicana for five days with my husband and two teenage sons. It was right on the boardwalk and perfect location! I loved all of the indoor shops that Tropicana had along with all of the restaurants. We ate at many restaurants inside the Tropicana and they were all fabulous. Very pricey, but everything along the boardwalk is so be prepared! Inside the Tropicana, they also have great desserts to choose from. The kids pool was not that nice looking. The kids took one look at it and said no way. The outdoor pool was way too windy on the days we were there so we did not use that. The adults only pool looked great! The fitness center was out of this world. I do not believe there is a better fitness center at any hotel. five stars for that alone! The room itself was just very mediocre. But how long are you gonna stay in the room anyway? It was outdated and they do not clean the rooms daily. They didn’t even do it at all in the five days. They will give you fresh towels upon request. We had to place our garbage outside of the door every day. The elevators were great. They were so fast climbing 40+ floors in a matter of a few seconds. The staff was very nice. However, upon check-in, it was chaotic and they were going through the process with you very fast. Definitely not too friendly or over welcoming. But OK. We did not utilize the gambling, but that looked like a lot of fun. I would recommend Tropicana.

Not enough staff working the check-in/checkout area. Had massive delays with my checkout, as well as the elevator is not working which rendered us to unsafely utilize the parking garage ramps to access our vehicles as we were in a rush to get back home unfortunately due to one elevator being operational a long line was making myself and other individuals not wait and take the parking garage ramps up to whatever floors we parked on

The indoor pool is very small , was unheated and overall rather dingy The AC in the room barely worked at Chickie and Pete’s they served us our meals followed by the appetizers we had bad weather. no ones fault but resulted in the kids looking forward to the indoor pool oh well

Food and drinks are very expensive but that was expected. If you want to eat at the restaurants. Need to make a reservation, the bed was ok. Rooms looks very outdated. Elevators not so good at all. I was in the 31st floor about to have a panic attack. We waited 45min just to go down. Only 3 working elevators on the west wing and constantly was a line to get in or able to catch an elevator. I wont do it again if you ask me. During casino. No drinks or service was offer. I hardly saw any staff or help to find your way around.

The elevator to get to Chelsea 5th floor was the worst. They were over crowded, getting stuck, and out of service multiple times. Wednesday indoor pool did not open back up at 3PM. Guest were not informed 3:45 PM - 4PM in which it led to a long line. Guest had to be turned back around.

The Tropicana is a beautiful place to stay! Lots of wonderful dinning options. Safe parking garage. Elevators were difficult to access when you wanted to head down to the lobby- up to a 10 minute wait at times.

Was not happy at all. Went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday but couldn’t even stay the night. After check in went in the room to get ready and noticed a bug in the bathroom. Couldn’t tell what it was initially but soon noticed it was a ROACH when it reappeared. It went behind the sink. We then left the light on hoping it was a fluke but when we returned after dinner there were two in the bathroom. My wife was so distraught we had to leave. Was not going to take the chance of having more roaches come out while we slept. Disgusting and disappointed we left the hotel and drove home. Not to mention the smell of marijuana in the hallway leading to our room. NEVER AGAIN.

The hotel room was not clean when I arrived, the bedsheet was dirty, and during my entire stay the room was never cleaned once. The room also had two chairs on a wood floor without any caps or padding on the legs, which made a loud scraping noise whenever they were moved. Every morning, I was constantly disturbed by the sound of chairs being dragged across the floor. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay. The only positive was the restaurants inside, everything else about the hotel was disappointing.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel. The conditions of the room I was given were not only unacceptable but also unsafe—especially considering I had my newborn with me. Upon entering the room, I immediately notice a Dirty and clogged air vent filter (as shown in the attached photo). This was covered in dust and debris, posing a serious health hazard by circulating unclean air into the room. Unclean surfaces, including a desk that was sticky, stained, and clearly not wiped down prior to my arrival. Poorly maintained bathroom tiles and grout, with visible mold, mildew, and grime build-up. This created an unsanitary and unsafe environment. These issues clearly demonstrate a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance, and they raise serious concerns about health and safety standards. As a guest traveling with a newborn, I was horrified to realize that my baby was exposed to such unsafe conditions. I expect a hotel stay to provide at the very least a clean, safe environment—which was absolutely not the case here. This experience was stressful, disappointing, and completely unacceptable.

The room was not clean. We had to report a glob of hair stuck to the bathroom shower wall more than once and it took over 24 hours before it was cleaned. The elevators were dirty. The ice machines didn't work on multiple floors. The carpets in the areas in between the doors looked like they were not vacuumed. The entrance on the boardwalk was dirty, compared to other hotels on the boardwalk it seemed like there was not attention to cleaning up in front of the hotel on the boardwalk side.

In fact, I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past but I will go a little farther down the boardwalk to stay in a cleaner hotel that cares about appearance and guest relations Absolutely horrible

The air conditioning was not strong enough to cool the room. Upon arrival time, the room was so hot and even at maximum settings, the ac couldn’t cool the room until later at night. Also, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. That compounded the heat situation while showering. Also, it is unpleasant when using the restroom.

This place had really gone down hill, will not stay here again. Room was old and outdated. Both sink and tub had constant drip and wall paper was peeling off wall. Toilet was broken spent 15 mins twice on hold with no reply. Went to front desk to let them know, guy at desk did not even apologize, just said I get someone to go to room and fix. Caesars should be ashamed of this place.

Check-in was a nightmare. Line about 30 people long, tried the kiosk check-in instead, wouldn't scan my license. Got a hotel employee to help, she got us checked in with a room number. After 45 minutes navigating the place and multiple elevators/escalators and walking, found the room AND GUESS WHAT! Somebody else was checked into that room! Had go all the way back to have someone tell us the employee had written down the wrong room number and wrong tower as well! An hour and a half after our arrival we were finally in our correct room but we had to cancel our Anniversary dinner reservations because of the delays. Instead we just grabbed a quick burger and headed off to the Stevie Nicks concert. They did give us a $50 credit (whoopie!) which we had to use before checking out.

Did not honor the room booked, gave us rooms on the other tower. This room had no tub and no queen beds as originally booked. Members had taken the entire tower that I had booked. Staff said members can take your room if they please. Will never return to this place again. Had to cut family trip short.

Went to the Tropicana with my Mom for a couple nights. At check in I asked if the shower in the bathroom had a hand bar as my mom is 76 and needs one for support the check in person said no hand bars in the showers are not standard. In my opinion they really should be. Luckily we were able to get placed in an accessible room that and that met moms needs. However we were there for a two night, three day stay and housekeeping did not make up the room on the second day. We left the room early for breakfast on the second day and then made an excursion upon our return in the evening we saw the room not made up, beds unmade, used towels from previous night not taken and not replaced. I called housekeeping to get new towels and that took 45 minutes. This room was not comped I paid for my nights and if I'm paying I expect all the services that I'm entitled to. I like this hotel the Quarter is great the food options are excellent and overall was clean but room maintenance needs to be completed daily.

Checking in was less than pleasant, the staff member was curt and not helpful in giving directions to the room,(the place is set up like a confusing maze). We were given a handicap room, seemed oldish and a little dated. The phone charger setup didn't work. Also parking wasn't free, that was a surprise.

The hotel offers valet service, and everything was clean and neat upon arrival. However, there was no housekeeping service on our second day. We tried calling housekeeping but no one answered. When we called the front desk, one of the staff members kindly brought us fresh linens, but we had to change them ourselves. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.

The parking situation on a Saturday check out day was a mess. We had to walk the garage up to our car because the elevators had a line hours long. Couldn’t take the steps because a strung out druggie was in the stairwell…. Just completely unsafe. The boardwalk was no better with drugs and drunks. I realize there is only so much that the casinos can do and I have to say, our room was clean and comfortable and I had one of my favorite meals ever at the Mexican restaurant. It was a nice stay but those few safety issues may not bring me back.

Has everything in one place. However, we found it difficult to maneuver the property. Needed more signage and could use ‘on floor’ concierge support. Even after we found our way, getting from place to place was cumbersome (elevator/escalator layout not helpful). Our junior suite was large, but grossly under furnished (our voice echoed). Shower stall so small you could barely turn around. All that considered, it did have everything you needed in one place and easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay, great restaurant selections. Unfortunately area around Tropicana not the best. This is the last casino on that side of the boardwalk near abandoned and deteriorating properties, next door is closed and abandoned The Atlantic Club Casino Hotel closed on January 13, 2014. Great casino but at the dying side of the boardwalk. I like the place and hope they don’t close it.

My stay at this hotel overall was good. The hotel has so many restaurants (Wild Honey Smokehouse & Tavern half chicken was dried out, steak too), things to do inside of it, including a night life, and also the beach within walking distance. What I did not like is the lack of cleanliness of the rooms, even the hallway had dust collecting in the corners. Our room on the 36th floor had a dusty table, windowsill, nightstand and phone. Everything we planned on touching had to be sanitized by us. They provide coffee in the room, but the pot was disgusting, and it sits under what looks like a 24 inch tv which was extremely dusty underneath and behind it. The water was nice and hot but water pressure not good in shower and in sink. Found hair on the toilet upon arrival to room, (took pic). It was extremely cold in room, did not figure out how to turn it down until we went to family's other room on 39th floor where their temperature control panel was visible, ours was hidden. Staff very accommodating when it came to asking for towels but there was language barrier with the 3 people I encountered, I asked for extra blankets, they did not know where to get them. There should be a number guide in the room so we know who to call for any issues. Ice machine was broken on our floor. Parts of hotel need remodeling. The elevators take forever and are packed during the time people are checking in or out, avoid these times. Better directions from parking to your section of hotel.

I liked the Tropicanna Casino and all the dining and shops, but the rooms in Chelsea Tower were not nice at all. Very old and dingy. They seemed clean, but for the price the rooms were not up to par.

It was just for one night,wish I could have stayed longer!! None of the hotels are easily designed for the disabled, you really have to hunt for it, it's a little city within it self!! Be prepared to do a lot of walking,need better signs for directions to different areas,you'll see about 2 signs and then thrown into chaos. Also, you see the self check in kiosk area you use it and then the kiosk tells you to go to main lobby check in desk for keys,after asking several people you have to go down 2 floors of escalators and then you're thrown into lines like your waiting to board a flight. In spite of all that,I'll still go back! Lol!

The room smelt like mold, they wouldn’t change our room. If you book through here you’re automatically getting the Chelsea tower which is the only section to not be renovated. No microwave, barely hot water and the worst part is you have to walk through the entire “marketplace and casino” to get to the Chelsea tower.
