Travelodge by Wyndham Absecon Atlantic City

The price was cheap. Close to AC and Brigantine. Hallways were dirty and need updating. Ice machines don’t work. Rooms weren’t terrible for the money. Shower was hot. AC worked well.

Lobby in rough condition. Main elevators not working only dirty gritty service elevator. No extras like coffee in the lobby etc. Rug was water stained, air handler was very loud.

This was not a good place to stay nothing worked ice machine nor any of the soda vending machines. There was 1 ice machine that did work on a different floor i had to let the ice melt just 2 have something to drink. The lobby was dirty & they did not offer breakfast as advertised on there site i cut my stay short & checked out early. The bed was comfortable but the room had an oder.

The place is dirty smells like musk and smoke. No heat had to use electric heater the whole stay . WiFi is weak never available. They constantly lie to you about the WiFi the people that stays there are questionable

Was a little disappointed. Rooms were not the cleanest. Hallways were never swept. Only 1 elevator working. Ice machine on my floor was not working. Had to go down a floor just to get ice.

Our overall stay was good. Check in was easy. Our room was clean and mostly updated. The elevators and room AC units could use some updated. The lobby and front desk area need major makeovers!

Elevator was out of service soda machines were out of service

Everything is decent except the wifi reception is very poor. Parking is good, showers are good with good pressure and hot temperatures. Room set up is hit or miss. The room i recently had was set up with a desk but no office chair which was slightly frustrating because I had to do work but other than that the views are pretty.

There was no elevator except for the service elevator ,also we was in a non smoking room but burn marks on the sheets and sink.The ice machines don't work the key card half work.

the hotel is completely run down - ceiling tiles with big water stains - carpet needs replacing - 1 elevator working for 7 floors - smell of food and/or cooking in room - all ice machines not working (1 on each floor) - keys didn’t work for 1st room assigned - went back downstairs and they changed the room as original one was already occupied

Shabby, dirty room and lobby. Very difficult to communicate with front desk personnel due to barriers which force both parties to shout to be heard Worn out dirty carpet and furniture ISome roaches and other smaller insects. Nice looking tv, but the damaged screen made for difficult viewing. Refrigerator and microwave worked fine, but also had roaches. On a positive note, the beds were fairly comfortable and sheets clean and fresh. The bathroom appears to have been recently remodeled and was very clean with a really good shower.

Found this hotel on the app. Did not look bad from the photos. Upon checking in a female was in the lobby holding a tissue with something in it. I did not see or hear what she was talking about. In the meantime a man was there waiting on the cops because all of his stuff was missing from his room and it had been re rented. I finally got to check in and get room keys. As soon as i got into the elevator i thought i seen a bug. As walking down the hallway there were towels outside of a room. I looked down and there was about 6 roaches, i immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund. The manager on site said that he was sorry and I would be issued a refund. That was a lie. I am going to call the health department that place is inhumane. Ceiling tiles missing water stains in the hallway ceilings. A musty smell and roaches are infesting the whole building.

Disgusting place!!! The outside looks amazing. The inside isnt finished being renovated. There was roaches in our rooms. Dead and alive. We got switched to other rooms but the rooms were worse than the first. Ended up leaving the hotel and going else where at 4:30 in the morning. Was fully refunded. The front desk staff didn't even care!

Very dirty smells like mildew needs to be shut down

The most rundown, dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at.

The room smelled bad as soon as you walked in. The bed sheet had burnt wholes in it, the curtains where molded and they had roaches.

Hotel was disgusting. The carpets in the hallway were disgusting & stained. Entire hotel smells like sh*t. We had a roach in our bathroom & the air conditioner didn’t get our room cool at all.

Very dated and a lot of damage broken furnishings, elevators had broken pieces, the lobby was freezing cold because the doors are broken, the hallway smells like cigarettes. The carpet in the room was flitly and stained, you can't see out of the windows, the fountain in the lobby was broken and smelly, the bathroom had hair in the shower. The lamp shades were dirty and dusty, The heating system had to be from 100 years ago. This hotel is trash! Do not waste your time or money!

This place is exactly what it means, you get what you pay for. The rooms were not clean. The hallways smelled like urine. There were rooms that had their doors kicked in and taped off. As soon as you walk in the cielings were dangling, and elevators were out of service. Burn marks in our blankets. We did not stay and demanded a refund.

roaches in all three rooms. switched rooms 3 times. woke up with a backache from mattress. pushy, alarmist clerks with limited english skills, wires dangling from all lighting fixtures in hallways, workmen playing loud music in the halls, shattered glass in parking lot, filthy carpeting, heat/air conditioning inoperable; marijuana reek in all rooms;

Upon checking in the AC was not working, went back to Front Desk and they re-assigned my room. AC seemed to be moderate but I assumed it would eventually cool room. When I returned late at night, AC once again not working. Could not sleep due to heat. Went to Front Desk to complain and was assured that they were working to fix problem and in the meantime would send up a fan to alleviate. I told them I was going out and would not be back until late and needed their assurance that problem would be corrected. Of course my sauna was still there!!! when I returned at 1:30am dead tired 😩. Layed in bed tossing until 4:30 am and just got up and packed my bags to leave. Hall outside room cooler than room. Will never return there and did I say there is no longer continental breakfast offered. I have stayed there over course of years but never been so disappointed. Never again! Should have realized upon check in that their offer of a fan was foretelling grave conditions. Shame on you!

Health hazard It has bugs and roaches and no a/c Bad service

The entire room and hallway was smelling like cigarettes… my entire luggage and even the clean clothes has that smell… Very uncomfortable. Don’t mind people smoking but it should be a better way and more cleanliness to avoid this.

That was was crazy i will never be back i had to go to the front desk every time i left the room cuz the key would work hot as hell in the room the ac was from the 1950

Took three different room changes to find one where the air conditioning works. And in that room the toilet was leaking. Holes in the walls. Air filter on the floor in the first room.

I booked a nice bay view non smoking room and am enjoying the view both day and night. Like that it’s free parking but it would be nice to have a shuttle to beach so I don’t have to pay to park near the boardwalk and beach.

The room wasnt in bad condition and was pretty clean. The hallways and elevators were gross.....really gross. There is an air-conditioner unit from the dawn of the century.... So do not expect a cool room!!!! Cut off in the middle of the night too!!!! We were given a fan.

I had a great view of Atlantic City. The Hotel is in a good location, but it needs serious repairs, upgrades or remolding to the exterior. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning staff did a good job with the bedding.

Rooms werent clean, had to change rooms multiple times. Ceilings leaked, front desk was very unhelpful. Building was falling apart, lobby and hallways were covered with trash.

Overall a nice place, could be cleaned better, plug in bath was full of old hair. But other than that. Customer service was amazing the 2 men working at checkin were great and very helpful.

OK, so we check in go to the ice machine not one single ice machine in the whole hotel worked when we got in the air conditioning system didn’t work. I called the front desk. The front desk said I must go reset it on the other side of the hotel. I will do that so I waited a half an hour. They still didn’t work. I went downstairs. I asked him was there any ice machines he said no. I can’t get ice and I can’t get air in my room. It was so stuffy like 100° in the room Like go try it now I turned on the air conditioner tried it didn’t work. I called him. I said it doesn’t work when I was down at the desk in his face. I said if it doesn’t work, can you switch us rooms? He said yes go try it when I call down to the desk , he said there’s no more rooms they’re sold out. There’s nothing I could do. There’s no refunds something changes. I’ll let you know. I said I’m not gonna lay up here with no air conditioning in this room with no ventilation at 100°. He said well there’s nothing I can tell you if you don’t like it. You can go somewhere else. I said well I should at least get some of my money back…there no refunds , we cannot refund you!! were suffocating. We left early in the morning ever. How can you charge that much a night and not fix your ice machines or your conditioning systems The desk clerk was cocky, arrogant and rude

Room was fine, just ok. Had to wait 30min at checkin, no one was there. I arrived right at checkin time - 3pm

The staff promised me that my deposit will be back in my account less than 24 hours. It’s been a week already.

This trip I had a great stay. Very nice clean room, nice view from my window and quiet. My check in was quick as was check out and a special thanks too Paul who was very accommodating to me. I always have a pleasant stay at Travelodge.

It was a terrible experience. We would never want to stay here again. We checked in late at night and the receptionist was very rude in answering our questions. She gave us a smoking room when we reserved a non smoking one. The AC unit in the room was leaking water, it was a age old unit and when complained she was arrogant and says that’s what it is. Beds were of third grade which were sinking in. Kids had a bad night. Showers were in a bad condition. No one at housekeeping cares too. Pathetic service!!

The quietness away from the city

The location was the only plus on this property

Property is a quiet getaway from AC inexpensive has a few physical setbacks but overall it's good for the price. Parking is free as well

Online it was showing breakfast included but at the location they denied

My expectations were already low when I book hotel but I only needed to stay one night. The hotel needs to be torn down and the bed had a metal bar sticking out of it that injured my foot. Why did they bother advertising free breakfast because it was a joke with no eggs, meat or juice.? The only bright side was the staff. I will never stay here again...

Nothing like the pictures. Old rundown no continental breakfast. Rooms smelled damp and like mold. Would not recommend.

There are Not breakfast at the promise

This was one of the worst experience that I've ever had during my stay in a Hotel. When I first arrived, the cover on the bed was dirty, then I saw there was a fan sitting on the floor which I didn't really understand why it was there. After couple minutes in the room I realized the AC was not properly working, it was hot in the room. I called the front desk to change my room, but there was no other room available at this time. I spent the night out thinking when I get back it would be better, the entire night was super hot. In the morning the so called continental breakfast they offered was only bagel, cream cheese, coffee and waffles. No juice, no eggs, no sausage, none of these. In the morning I went back to ask these people to change my room, they continue to say that there was no available room, I asked them if they will send a company to repair the AC, they were just looking at me and smile. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.

Room and bed was comfortable. Had a decent breakfast.

They advertise breakfast, no they don't have it, $50 deposit or he told me to walk and find a different place quotations f you. The place is a rundown dump nowhere to sit outside, trash and liquor bottles in the elevators hallways Etc. Atlantic City is a dump now and so is this hotel. I'd rather be under a bridge next time
