Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City

The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful...BUT a few big things made this a sub par stay. First the hours of the gym are not conducive to business travelers. Opening at 6a is almost too late for someone required to leave the hotel and be at the convention center by 8a. The gym closing at 6p makes it not even an amenity to business travelers at night time either. Strong suggestions to amend the gym hours to 5a-8p or make it key card access until even 10p like most hotels. There are cameras in the entire gym space so seems like key card access for later hours shouldn't be an issue. Also - Not sure how/ why the hotel room walls are seemingly so thin. This trip I was on the 40th floor and was woken up the first night by loud talking in the room next door that made it seem like they were in my bed with me. They woke me up again at 4a. The 2ns night I went to bed early at 10:30p ahead of an early morning and instead was greeted with them having 6+ people in their room talking loudly until after midnight. I could hear every word of their entire conversation as if they were in my room instead of theirs. This made for a rough stay and after several years at Hard Rock, I'm not sure I can come back next year.

Hotel / casino very nice. Multiple places to eat right inside the hotel. Security to enter up to the hotels rooms at all elevators was great peace of mind for safety. More Signs/directions from the parking garage to the front lobby or hotel rooms would be very helpful. Would stay here again!!

Very clean room with luxury, oversized bathroom and a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant, Il Molino, was delicious with excellent service and atmosphere. The only negative point of our stay was the indoor pool. It did not have any ambiance and we felt the pool hours should be extended pass 6pm.

Upon arrival to the hotel until check out time, I can confidently say this was a nice hotel. The rooms, bathrooms, casino, and restaurants were clean and well kept. The fault of this property was the valet system. After checking out, we went to valet to get our car before needing to depart for our flight.

The only thing i didn't like was the pool hours 10am to 6pm but everything else was perfect .

The hard rock hotelI is a beautiful hotel with all the displaying of all the musical memorabilia from different artists from around the world. Absolutely breathtaking some of it. But I found some issues with the rooms. If you got bad knees, be easy sitting on the toilet the toilet is like sitting on the floor. The beds aren’t extremely comfortable. The pillows are not really pillows. I take points off for no microwave in the room. and the little pathetic coffee maker is like what’s the point? Otherwise it was absolutely convenient as I attended a concert at the arena in the hotel.

why do guests have to rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach? and @ $16 a chair? really? they were broke down and dirty old chairs that look like they cost $10 at walmart. So as a guest they want you to drag your own chairs through the casino across the boardwalk to the beach that’s not a resort, that’s what motels do! terrible especially the condition of the items

We stayed at the Hard Rock Resort in Atlantic City to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.The Check-in went smoothly and we received a text when our room was ready. However, upon arriving at our room in the South Tower, it was clear the space Iwas not up to standard, especially compared to the upgraded North Tower rooms. The bathroom was filthy there was dirt and grime around the toilet and floor, the grab rails were dirty with a sticker attached, and there were holes and marks on the walls. There was no toilet paper or toiletries The lamp and couch were stained, and the large picture window (including the ledge) was dirty, with a sticky spill that had never been cleaned. I used my own Clorox wipes to clean what I could, but this should have been done thoroughly by housekeeping before we arrived. I immediately sent photos and filed a complaint, requesting another room, but was told none were available and to call the front desk in the morning. We tried to make the best of the night, had dinner, enjoyed the casino, and returned to sleep. In the morning, I was not feeling well but still called the front desk, only to be told a room wouldn’t be available until later in the day. I declined since I didn’t have the energy to pack up and wait. However, as I straightened the bed, I discovered multiple stains on the quilt what appeared to be fecal matter, and a blood stain. At that point I insisted on a new room.

Room 1647 in the north tower was horrible. Maybe one step above a Motel 6. There were stains all throughout the carpeting in our room. Toilet room door was spotted dirty needed A good wipe down.there was tape on the wall. Near the ceiling,oh n there were cigarette burn marks on the fabric love seat. Come on Hard Rock u gotta do b Better.

My room had a terrible smell of cigarettes—so strong that all my clothes ended up reeking. The room was extremely expensive for such a bad experience.

Had a non smoking room. Was enveloped in the smell of cigarettes and marijuana. Spoke to the front desk. Said she would send someone to look at it. Returned to room 4 hours later. It was worse They wanted me to change my room. Stated,“That’s how people are”. Not sure what that had to do with me being in a non smoking room full of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Area around hotel appeared less than safe

This is the place to stay for entertainment, casino, and restaurants all in one. Guest rooms were clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly.

Everything was okay except looking out my window to the air conditioner on rooftop next door. This room should be free comp room versus having customers pay for obstructed view that was advertised as city view.

Big room. Clean updated bathroom. Great staff. Lobby bar is always fun. IL Mulino is a great place for dinner. The staff there is attentive and makes the dining experience very special.

Clean, modern and like new. Numerous dining options at different price ranges. Enjoyed the 50% dining discount on Monday night. Check in staff was great as well as the bartenders in the lobby bar. Ocean view king room on the 34th floor of the north tower was very nice with a very spacious bathroom.

Overall the Hotel is Great.. The Rooms not so great .. they need a Serious upgrade both mirrors had peeling paint. The credenza /tv combo had visible damage. Chair looked worn & Dirty

Carol L. (Front Desk) was absolutely brilliant! Very personable and made us feel very welcomed to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after the proposal to my girlfriend. Gave outstanding directions to our room and made us laugh which not many places do especially at the front desk. Told her direct supervisor how wonderful she was right after her services were provided to us. Staff throughout the hotel were genuinely nice and willing to help when clocking out and places to eat or hang out at. The room was wow… just wow.. view was nice to see the ocean as long as you didn’t look down onto the roof, but otherwise the best sleep in a long time. Need to know what kind of mattress ASAP haha. Overall great experience. I would say as being that this was our first time staying with you, we saw multiple screens that promoted places within the casino/hotel, but they weren’t any map options so if you are to get loss or looking for something specific you have to find a map on your phone after searching the internet. Also I couldn’t find an app that was supported by the hotel, but only found one that was driven by gambling (understandably, but this is a flaw to the people staying in the hotel). Other than that outstanding service and the atmosphere was top notch.

Check in took 20+ minutes, the person checking me in was rude and unhelpful (He left for several minutes in the middle of checking me in without an explanation, I had to ask what the charges were for - I got two rooms and was charged two different rates for incidentals, had to ask how to get to my rooms, etc. He generally treated me like an annoyance), other staff members were also rude and seemingly uninterested in working in hospitality. The hotel itself is clean and nice, the staff were totally unpleasant.

MY STAY WAS GREAT. THE CHECKIN WAS VERY PLEASANT .DONALD CHECKED US IN WITH A FRIENDLY EFFICIENT COURTEOUS MANNER . HE GAVE ME THE ROOM I ASKED FOR AND THAT SET THE TONE FOR MY PLEASANT STAY. THE MAID WAS ALSO PLEASANT EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL. I RECOMMEND HARD ROCK HIGHLY.

Front desk, Dolly was the most friendly and professional lady i ever encountered at a hotel. She went above and beyond to get me and my family to enjoy our room to maximum. Property is great with amazing rooms and views to the ocean. Boardwalk is right outside the hotel with a lot of activities and gift shops. Basically hou can park the car and have a great time for couple of days just staying at the property. Last but not least the casino and all the entertainment inside the hotel is going to keep you from not wanting to leave!

Check in was a bit long as there was only a line for ion customers so we were literally waiting in the regular check line and was not getting any attention or service. There were no front desk, workers for regular paying customers only workers for the ion line. Besides that my stay was great I enjoyed myself. The room was very nice. The bathroom was beautiful. Will definitely return.

When we arrived at the property, the gentleman that checked us in check us into another person‘s room. So our keys were not working because it was someone else’s room so we had to go all the way back downstairs and have everything straightened out. Not a good way to start! On a positive note everything else was wonderful!

My first time staying at a Hard Rock and it was a good room. The hotel is at the far end of the boardwalk so it was a bit of a hike to get to other casinos and the outlets. Room was spacious and check in, while crowded, went smoothly. A good option for a trip to AC!

It was on the beach

We liked it is walkable to the outlet shops and the jitney is also available. The hotel itself was great as was the customer service. I'd stay again.

Location was amazing. Indoor pool was great, food great too. Some of the love music events would not allow anyone under 21 so a little difficult if you have littles but plenty to do at Steel Pier which is directly outside on the boardwalk.

We stayed in the North Tower. It was comfortable. I highly recommend Kuro if you like sashimi/sushi. It was excellent!

Stayed overnight after an event at Hard Rock. Room was comfortable and clean. Check in was perfect. Casino was fun. Had dinner at Il Mulino, which was delicious. Overall great time.

A lot of food options with quick service, buffet and fine dining. We had a great time seeing a concert and the pool is very nice!

The breakfast was fresh and sooo scrumptious, my cappuccino was greeeat!!! The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and he was very accurate on how good their breakfast is.

Room was nice, but Il Murino was a huge disappointment. Appetizer that was Chef suggested was the Artichoke/avocado which was very bland and tasteless. Pesto gnocchi was also very bland; tasted like it came from a pouch. We asked for a suggestion of Pinot Noir and was recommended Saracco which was $70; found online for $10 to $ 24.

Much nicer than most of the casino hotels on the ocean front. On prem restaurants were outstanding, even Hard Rock for breakfast. Service on the floor was outstanding. Loved the decorations & entertainment. Tons to do and see!!!

The hotel was fun! The room was north tower ocean view and I thought the room would be more “updated”. There was a stale Smokey smell upon entering our room even tho it was non smoking, otherwise the room was clean. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe for breakfast and the service was extremely slow.
