I recently stayed at this hotel and had no issues during my visit itself. However, my experience afterward was disappointing and worth noting. The morning after I returned home, I unpacked and realized I had left two rings behind. I am confident they were either on the bathroom counter or near the television area in the room. I promptly called the hotel and eventually spoke with someone in housekeeping. I was told that nothing had been turned in to lost and found and that any items would have been reported. While I want to believe in the honesty and integrity of staff, what was most frustrating was the lack of follow-up or concern. There was no indication that anyone would check with the housekeeping team more thoroughly or make any effort beyond a quick dismissal. Losing something of value is upsetting enough, but feeling unheard and brushed off made the situation worse. I hope the hotel can improve its process for handling lost items and show more empathy toward guests in similar situations.
