Best Western Burlington Inn

The outside front and inside lobby were very pleasing. But entering other than the main door was uncomfortable as there were people loitering at those areas. One back door was propped open by an outdoor cigarette repository. Why bother w/ key card entry??? There were some dirty areas in the room that could be cleaned..i.e. the switch/electrical outlet in the bathroom.

The property is in need of renovations badly and it could have been a lot cleaner. The pool was closed and had brown paper and what looked like trash bags covering the windows. That's just to name a few things.

From around 6 -11 pm the one end of the 1st floor reeked of weed. There was no chair for the desk so I had to drag the lounge chair over. The inside of the tb started peeling after the shower was used the 2nd time. Woke up 2nd day to a huge puddle of water from the in room hvac unit. The side door of building didn’t lock so anybody can sneak into the hotel.

I didn’t like that fact there wasn’t a microwave and we had trouble with the water in the sinks as well there is mold in the shower just hidden in the crease. The gym was not in use so as the indoor pool. Other than that everything else was great especially the staff. Just a little bit of confusion on the stays. But we did have a cleaner walk in the room while it was locked. Without evening seeing someone was in there.

This hotel is a Best Western with a ripped plastic sign covering the Best Western logo. Although it looked relatively clean, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana. A large group was staying the weekend we were there, and the hostess was not able to keep up with the continental breakfast and we had very little available to eat with 45 min until breakfast closed. The indoor pool was closed and FULL of items, I’m assuming from an upcoming renovation. Would not recommend.

The property was very dirty, from the batroom to the towels. Pool was closed and couldnt turn the shower from hot to cold due to the water faucet head getting ready to fall off. Very, very unpleasant stay. Dont recommend this hotel to anyone.

Elevator needs repair, better breakfast choices, clean towels and linen should be put in room everyday and not only when asked.

There is a limited breakfast selection. Pool is also under maintenance with no set return date.

I'm flabbergasted to read reviews as "top notch", "the best" and so forth. If you rated this place "good", you've never been to a TRUE hotel. I'm giving it a one star, but it deserves NOTHING AT ALL. Period. Honestly, speaking from arrival, everything went horrible. Got here, the elevator wasn't working. Since there was no elevator, you go up the stairs and find yourself walking in a disgusting hallway with carpets that haven't been cleaned in yrs and the smell, forget it!. Ghetto people left and right. Opened the room, and it smelled like 50 men were working out in the room (yes! THAT smell!). Come back to the hotel and the keys did not open the door. Had to go back down to the front desk to have the keys reprogrammed. When opened the room, it looked exactly how we left it! Not even the trash was taken out. The bathroom shower head is brown from the water chlorine or something. The shower curtain was ripped. The complimentary breakfast was disgusting (worse eggs I've ever had in a hotel), I mean this place should not be operating, plain and simple. My wife forgot her cell phone and had to go back to the room. Some other guest (ghetto guest, of course!) left his dog unattended, and the dog got so closed to my wife (her not being an animal person), she almost had a mental crisis. All in a nutshell - I regret making this reservation, and I will make sure I would never book this hotel, ever again. Please go somewhere else!!

The hotel smelled like Marijuana. The firat room i was given was very dirty, so they put us on the 2nd floor which was a little better! There was hair on the floors. The pool was closed and overflow of beds in that area! Over because it was close to applebees and other stores was the reason i gave it a 3 star. Otherwise its really a1-2 star motel

There were dead roaches in the bathroom light.

Hallways smelled of smoke and dogs. Room smelled like smoke. Hotel was worn in sevreral ways. Beds were comfortable. Location was excellent.

The room very dirty !!!! I am very disappointed. We had to go to Walmart to buy sheets cleaning supplies to clean. the room nasty the tubveey dirty. if you want pictures I have them Contact me.

Room had mouse droppinggs they only do deep cleans once a month they don't move the beds to clean them I had a toddler and I had to go buy cleaning supplies so he would eat mouse droppings or pealing carpet

The rooms smelled very musty and old. There was mold in the bathroom and hairs all over the wall in the bathroom.

We are waiting for a full refund the manager of the property approved. The facility is in poor shape, our room was absolutely filthy. The smell when we opened the door said it all. But we dared to walk in.. dead bugs, hair in the bathroom, filthy shower, floor was sticky (laminate no carpet), and hair on the bed. We told the front desk of the status of the room and left.

I was on the bed and a rat shot from in the bathroom under the bed. I never had that happen in a hotel before.

The room was fifthly. The floors were dirty in te room and in the hallways. The bathroom was dirty and appeared to be ill kept. The room and bathroom appeared ill kept and old. Paint was supposed to be white and it was grey, caulking around floor torn, baseboards warped.

This place smelled absolutely terrible. Even outside of the pet friendly rooms, the bad smell was all through the hallways and into the other rooms. Our luggage still has the smell even after leaving. The front desk was friendly enough but they worked behind glass or plastic and spoke to guests through a microphone which didn’t feel very welcoming. I am unsure of how frequently they advertise cleaning the rooms but we were there 3 nights and our trash was never taken out, no new towels, and bed linens never got changed.

The property looks to have had some renovations but it’s not of quality. I received my room key and proceeded to go to the room the hallway to the room smelled of dog urine. As I proceeded further down the hall the smell got worse. It seem like they have permanent residents that own dogs and allow them to urine anywhere in the halls rooms etc. Once in the room the smell continued even with the air on and freshener. The room across from me sounded like it had a dog kennel. Which is where some of that smell is probably coming from..also the floors were not clean there were debris left on the floor from previous customers. We arrived after 1 am from a long trip and with it being no refund we had no other options. This was probably the worst place I ever stayed in in my entire life. I would never ever stay there again.

The bed was a like a lumpy mat.

Clean, bed was comfortable, staff was nice and helpful. Walls are super thin- could hear neighbor snoring. Neighbors also were smoking, could see smoke coming out of their door one morning. Very noisy other guests.

Price was reasonable and staff was pleasant and helpful. Bed was awful, not comfortable at all. There was a drunk or crazy lady screaming in the hallway at 6am Saturday morning, very disturbing.

Staff was nice and it was clean but the bed was terrible! I swear it was just a box spring and not even a mattress. Both of us were moving around all night and were hurting in the morning. He can’t move his neck and my back is killer. They definitely need to get some new beds

The air conditioning barely worked. The first room I was given had two different large puddles on the floor . The next room I was given the air conditioner only stayed on for about 5 minutes, then would shut off for the next 45-60 minutes . It was 96 degrees outside and probably about 80 degrees in the room. I couldn’t get it any cooler . The fridge didn’t work well either , freezer section did , but not fridge , weird . The remote stopped working so I couldn’t turn the tv off or change the channel . It was a connecting room and the sound from the other room was Very loud by the connecting door , even though both doors were shut and locked . Toilet also didn’t work right , had to flush a minimum of 3 times for just pee !!! They had a rug runner by the side door closest entrance to my room , that was awful , curled up at the edges , definitely a tripping hazard .

The hotel room needs an update. The bathroom tub faucet was nearly hanging off the wall. The refrigerator was missing a leg, causing it to lean to one side and wobble when the door was opened. Additionally, food was left in the fridge from the previous guests. The TV satellite did not work initially. The desk attendant came to the room to fix it the first night, but it was out again the second night.

Staff at front desk was nice. There was no microwave, coffee maker, or ice bucket and no cups.There was an ice machine but nothing to put it in. I went to the front desk he offered me bags for ice. There was no wash clothes had to ask for them as well. Will not be my first choice if I need a stay. Also not a fan of Hotels that have permanent tenants sorry brings the value and look down gives it a motel vibe.

The hotel is a bit rundown..stains on rug and ceiling. The breakfast could not have offered less...eggs (kind of), white bread toast, 4 sad little containers of yogurt in the refrigerator and the obligatory waffle maker. Had to change our room because the refrigerator wasn't working. The room was clean and the bed was decent. I believe the hotel was bought out and it is probably in a transition period. Good for a one night stay. I hope the Wyndam quality will come through eventually.

We checked in late around 11pm and were greeted by a machine. The check in process is done by a virtual front desk agent that answers via camera. The process didn't take long however it was weird not seeing any staff at all in the lobby. Once the machine dispensed the key and we entered our room I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The TV had a white residue all over and the toilet had hair and some kind of residue all over. The floor was very sticky. In the morning when the staff was available we complained and they stated they would send someone in to clean however they never did. We ended up leaving and not completing our stay.

There is know one here, I mean no one ! you check in at a kiosk. No one in the office / front desk …..EVER. If you need anything there is no one to call, you get a busy signal if you call house keeping or the front desk. The guests are here alone and the front doors are wide open. It is scary for a single female. Until they get a live person in the front office this place should not be operating or open. Please do not offer this property on Expedia

Not so good. I had to spend almost an hour locating my reservation even though I am showing my e mail confirmation information. The hotel wanted me the call the third party to speak directly to them and that put a strain on my time, as the third party was hard to reach and I wasted so much time and was very late to attend my family meeting. The front desk lady treated me like the information I was giving her was fake. I hated it because there were other customers waiting to be checked in and it was very embarrassing. I left for the christening service on Sunday, 10/29/23 at 1000 , came back at 7pm and nobody cleared the room. I was so mad that I checked out on Sunday instead of Monday. Breakfast was not appetizing!!!

I arrived late at night due to terrible traffic only to find they had cancelled my reservation and gave away my room. They had apparently tried to call me once around 7:30pm, and when I didn’t answer, just went ahead and cancelled. So my husband and I had to scramble to find another room after midnight and an exhausting road trip. They offered no apology or solution to the situation. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had

nice place friendly staff clean

Staff was great. Anyone I spoke with was attentive and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Parking area was clean and the common area inside was very clean too. I would go back to stay.

Check in was via kiosk which is current technology but not really advisable for me as a woman traveling alone. I do not appreciate others in the lobby privy to my traveling affairs. I had requested that my room # and location be not announced which was honored. Unfortunately the room that I was given was occupied by another guest which created an awkward situation for both parties. The concierge was able to find me another room but I was concerned during my stay hoping that the same thing did not happen to me while I was away from my room leaving my personal belongings there. There was also some work being done in one of the rooms right next to mine which disturbed my work time and sleep. Overall it’s not a bad place for the price for short term trip

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is one of only two times that I have ever walked out of a hotel and checked in to a nearby property. I booked the stay upon pulling off the highway and pulled into the hotel about 10 minutes later. There was a police officer parked in front of the hotel talking to someone. I didn't think much of it and went inside to check in. Once inside there was no staff anywhere to be found. I waited and then began to play with a computer screen that brought up a live feed to an agent at Corporate who checked me in over the internet and the kiosk spit out my room key and receipt. I then went back out to the car to get my bags and the officer was still there talking to the man. This time I could here the officer tell him that he was taking his friend to jail and that he needed to leave the property immediately. He told him that another officer was 5 minutes away and he was going to come by to make sure the man had complied and left the property. I still moved forward and took the bags up to the room. Once I got up to the room my girlfriend and I discussed what was going on with the police and the fact that there were no staff at all. Basically there was no security at all. Anybody could come in and out of the hotel all night. When I went back down to move the car there was still no staff and now the man who had been instructed to leave was sitting in the lobby.

Staff are always helpful and willing to assist addressing any issues that one might have with rooms, rates, and facilities.

The staff here is helpful and friendly. There is a lot of places to choose where to go to eat and shop gas stations near by a regal cinema is also by 6 flags is about 40 plus minutes away. The rooms and property are very clean. The New Jersey Turnpike is close by 295 South Bound and North Bound are about 10 minutes away.

Great for an overnight stay heading north. Beds were comfortable. Excellent location just off NJ Turnpike and a mile from 295. Walk to Applebee's, short ride to Panera, Dunkin Donuts. Decent breakfast.

Easy on and off from the highway. Our rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Lobby and hallways reeked of pot, which was only drawback. Breakfast was pretty skimpy, and staff not very visible. A good stop, sleep and leave location.

Good for the price. Included a decent breakfast. Very easy walk to both an Applebee's and Cracker Barrel store/Restaurant. Short drive to a mall, gas station, several towns, Delaware River. Literally right off the New Jersey turnpike.

The stay was okay for the price. The hallway smells terrible but my room was clean and odorless. Cleaning staff didn't come to my room for the 3-day period I was there, though. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are noisy when you have next-door neighbors, it was mostly silent at night because the rooms next to me were vacant. The area around the property doesn't feel super safe. Nothing happened but there seemed to be some homeless people around the area. Overall, it's worth the stay if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money and just want a place to sleep!

The excuses are wearing thin. No matter what the woman who runs the breakfast buffet says, I doubt the management "forgets" to order scrambled almost every week. Those eggs are the only non-carb item on the buffet. Tired of waking up early to hit the breakfast and there being NO scrambled eggs. At least post something in a visible area the night before so that if there will be no eggs the next morning, we don't bother getting up early just to eat carbs. And, no, hard-boiled eggs are NOT a suitable substitute. Get your act together.

Parking was easy and secure. Breakfast was mainly scrambled egggs. No sausage or hot dogs. Linited variety.

WHY is it so damn hard for the woman who runs the breakfast to ensure there are scrambled eggs??? The excuses of "managers forgot to order them" have run thin. It's not HARD to make some scrambled eggs! Some of us can't do an all-carbs breakfast (pre-diabetic), so protein is just a little important to us.

Facility was clean. However it is supposed to be a smoke free facility and people were smoking in their rooms. Could see smoke in hallway. Also there is no microwave or coffee pot in rooms. Also breakfast is only waffles, oatmeal and fruit. No meat to go with waffles. Disappointed that I could not have my coffee in my room. Brought my coffee with me. Not sure I would stay here again. Some staff were not very friendly. The guy who check us in very late cause of flight delays was awesome! He even offered me his water cause he said you look exhausted. He even asked if I needed food. Very nice guy. Wish I had gotten his name.

The hotel was convenient to the NJ Turnpike. It was reasonably priced. Our room although clean, had a strange odor (I have no idea what the odor is). Although there was no microwave in the room. You have to use the one in the lobby that is not clean! The breakfast needs more options besides eggs and waffles! It needs some type of meat (sausage, bacon). I would come back based on the price but not eat breakfast there.
