Place was really great for price. It was my first time staying here and i definitely enjoyed the Red Roof cabin experience! Only thing is there’s no elevator but wifey and I are young so we didn’t mind !

Our room was clean but had an odor of bug spray. Towels were threadbare, hallways had animal hair all over carpet The A/C worked well. There are absolutely no amenities. Vending machines 1 snack 1 drinks. Drinks machine took my money did not give me my drink. Front desk clerk was kind enough to refund my money. Feral cats roam the property. I think the people that call this home feed them. The free coffee advertised is a machine that I didn’t even attempt to use. This is not a hotel you want to spend time in. Won’t be back.

Hotel is listed as pet-friendly so the musty smell in carpet in the corridor was to be expected. But 1. The entry door from parking lot had the electronic lock that was broken, so the door was open all the time. 2. Padding on chair with the desk was badly chewed up. Looked like the work of an aggressive dog.

This was my second stay at the property. I booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and was told it was over booked that morning so i asked for another room w a tub as i needed to soak for medical reasons as I have a terrible pain condition/disability and had rented the room near a faire I was working and was already in a ton of pain. Not even a tub in room I was given altho accommodated to first floor as there's no elevator! Very disappointed!! Homeless people begging outside the side doors, parking lot is an atrocious mess of potholes that can take out your alignment too!

WeThe parking lot could eat your car if your not careful. A lot of screaming and yelling (adults). Kids running up and down the halls. Very old building. Sheets and towels were clean. That the best compliment. The staff member that I interacted with was friendly but complained I checked in so late. It was only about 9pm. We spent the day at an amusement park and had to eat before checking in. Not unusual circumstances.

We ended up not even staying in this hotel. The front Desk personnel was less then helpful. We entered our room and three of the four lights were not working. The room was stripped of all amenities, including the basics of alarm clocks and ironing board, etc. the same items that were in a very large sign next to the desk that said if they would removed, we would be charged for each item. When I brought all of this to the attention of the desk, she just said so you wanna refund however, when I asked for it, I was told that I could not have one and another room was not offered. In addition the outside doors to the hotel were equipped with a keypad but did not require your key to open. Every door was wide open so anybody could walk through and into the building. It was not safe. We were also confronted in the parking lot by someone who was staring at us and approached the car only to then spit on the car for no apparent reason. Once again there was a large sign on the front door stating the hotel was not responsible for any damages to cars in the parking lot. Overall, I did not feel safe or that I was offered what I booked. We promptly checked out and found another hotel. I will never use Expedia or red roof again.

The place is obviously a hotel for displaced people. The halls were lined with garbage, and I do mean lined with garbage. You had people just sitting outside hanging out, and I do mean just hanging out as if they do this daily. The room had an unreal order that i cant even explained. when i changed to a new one the same disgusting musky smell was there to. i will so this much, im not a fancy guy, but i will NEVER return to this location. i said to myself why didnt i just sleep in teh car and my hope was that bed bugs were not present ;o(

My daughter and I were on a long road trip from New York to Florida and arrived late in the evening—too exhausted to find another place. Otherwise, we absolutely would have. The problems began at check-in, where I was handed three pages of fine-print terms and conditions to sign—something I’ve never encountered before. This place had a terrible odor in the hallways and in the room. The place was not clean. There was thick dust on furniture and dog hair on the bed and black stuff around the tub and baseboard trim that peeled off that revealed more black stuff. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. We sat up in chairs until daybreak. We left and found another hotel. I've never written a review before even if the service was poor or the product was bad. But this place needs a serious rehab.

The hallway smelled so horrible and once we walked in and used the bathroom their was an active roach just chyllen around in the bathroom. There are stains all on the blankets. The ac in room is throwing off a smell. The side entrance has food and garbage on the floor.

Out of two beds one had insects crawling all over luckily I was the one who slept there and not my kid. Late night I woke up and realised that I am bit by insect and then I was awake entire night. Smells cigarettes everywhere and the rugs were wet and stinky. I would really say it was a very difficult night for me. The floor was sticky and stinky. Very bad experience, didn't even feel like sharing the feedback with them because there was a huge lack of hospitality.

For one, I was not notified of a $100 hold during check in. Once I got to the hallway the smell of dog and smoke was overwhelming. The room was very “stuffy” I could barely breathe, the AC was blowing out dry air it was horrible. There was mold in the bathroom. Dead roaches in the bathroom. The toilet barely flushed. There were stains on my bed myself as well as my twin infants could not sleep well. We did not stay the whole duration until check out time, we left very early. Very disappointed

The rooms furniture was all torn . The enamel of the bath tub was chipping off. The towel racks in the bathroom were rusted. In the morning i noticed what looked like water damage on the ceiling. All this was not even the worst part...at 4 in the morning while we were sleeping our entire bed collapsed while we were in. I went to the desk when it happened and was told there was nothing they could do about, they were totally booked and that "these things happen". I went back to the room because what choice did i have, and slept on a collapsed bed. In the morning my child cut their foot on a piece of metal that was sticking out from that bed. During check out i expressed all my concerns to the new day desk clerk and they seemed to shrug them off. Never staying at this hotel again

It took a very long time to get hot water in the shower. When I finally did get hot water, I got in the shower and the water turned ice cold. This happened several times-NOT PLEASANT. TV reception was poor and I had to ask the front desk the “secret” to get TV to work (you had to press a certain number then enter on the remote)-would have been nice to have written directions in the room.

The room was ok other than the toilet was broken and would not flush unless I used the garbage can filled with water to flush it! Ridiculous….and she couldn’t move my room because they were sold out. It seems like housekeeping would have noticed a broken toilet! I was very unhappy about this place.

Water pressure wasn’t the best. Took a shower shortly after I got there. Hot water was lukewarm at best. Got up in the morning to take one and it was boiling hot. There was no in-between

everything seemed a little run down. the baggage cart was kinda broken, there was a random lump in the miffle of the hallway that you cant see because of the texture of the carpet. my key card stopped working a half hour before checkout. almost everything that was metal in the bathroom was rusty. there was a cigarette burn on the light switch room 161 the color temperature of the bulbs in the lamps were all different, some were cool some were warm others were neutral. the jets in the tub didnt work. staff was very nice. vending machines had an adequate selection of snacks and beverages

I originally came to this hotel just to get away from my stressors and relax with my best friend. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The place was very clean and the only thing that made me upset was the vending machine wouldn’t work. The overall experience will still get a five star review from me as the vending machine has nothing to do with the hotel 100% recommend this hotel.

The first room they gave me was old with poorly functioning equipment (fridge, remote, not enough outlets, rust), as well as a moldy smell that came from the unstable fridge. After filing the complaint, they gave me a better room that looked really nice and renovated compared to the first one. All was fine until i had to keep getting my keycard re enabled EVERY DAY. And i know nobody else had to go through that because it happened with the first room as well. Other than that, the hotel was average, thats all. The second room made my stay better overall.

Would not recommend this hotel. I was traveling alone with my pet and was scared of the people hanging at the doorways. I was put on second floor. Garbage everywhere. People running halls. People sitting in hallways on phone. It felt as if this is a residence for people not a hotel. I left as quickly as I could in morning once I could see daylight. I did not bother to shower. Unsafe feeling and terrible sleep.

Went for the convenience of being able to get back onto the Turnpike. Next time I’ll spend the extra dollars and time to get to another hotel. Felt a little shady with people hanging out in front of the doorway, smoking.

We stayed here only as a last minute for the rate. The room had missing lights, the towels and washcloths were paper thin and very small. There was no breakfast in spite of the website. There was a crazy amount of paperwork for my signature, but no receipt at checkout. We will never stay here again. Perhaps it was more for truckers and long term stays.

Property was outdated. Lobby was redone but that was about it. My room had paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling. Paint chipping in the main room area. TV Remote worked erratically. Soap dispenser in the bathroom didn't work. Outside of property was horrible.

# nice uograded rooms, with wood laminated floors, kitchette, etc. Because i believe ..... This property is a boarder... front desk staff with hoodies on...on phone while youre waiting, the hallways are very musty, walls and hall furniture dingy, no elevator, people smoking weed and cigarettes and drinking outside. This hotel looks like it has people and families living there whether temporary or permanent, i totally understand today its cheaper to live in a hotel than it is to pay rent. I just feel like long term occupancy should be in one section of the hotel only not shattered about all the different areas. This is a very large property. They no longer offer breakfast only coffee. Recommended if youre needing a place to sleep... Not for visiting musty...
