The stay was great. The bar/lounge was closed. That was a big disappointment because we had to go out and pick up alcohol ourselves and brought it back. They would’ve made money off of us. Over all stay was great.

While this property is convenient for the Dover area to include Lake Hopatcong and Mohawk Lake which both offer great lake front dining and shops along with the Rockaway Mall, best location to stay in. The indoor pool was drained and non-functioning.

Hilton under construction . Did not know the pool was closed. The staff was excellent Hotels. com never sent the confirmation. The manager solved the problem for us. We loved the new room refab. Very nice. Great staff, cudos to them all !

We were in town for a family wedding, and stayed at this hotel. It was completely under renovations with only one entrance in the back of the hotel, yet parking was still in the front. No amenities available, no restaurant, no bar, actually not even a public restroom. Room was just completed, clean and spacious. Had to call for an iron and hair dryer. Day before we left, no maid service. They didn't know why we were missed, but brought up 2 towels, not even a hand towel. They didn't give the bride a headsup until week before wedding. Won't stay here again

Had to go get our own toilet paper because they left us a 1/4 roll. Tried to go get in the pool which was slimy and disgusting so couldn’t use it. We then proceeded to try to use the jacuzzi which was cold and didn’t work. Place needs to be updated and cleaned. Don’t waste your money. Manager did handle it very professionally though after speaking with him.

Hotel is near family. Convenient to parkways and shopping. The bathroom floor wasn't clean. There was hair on the floor and on the bathroom mat. We used one of the hand towels as a mat after we showered.

The rooms were very neat and clean however it seemed to be a little chaotic during check-in and not very easy to check in early for folks that had time constraints for a local wedding. Although breakfast was published as not included the pricing was not consistent from one day to the next. Other local hotels gave free breakfast options at leas cost

The stay was good. My only complaint is that this location advertizes and charges more for a room with a tub( the only reason I chose that room) , yet they have zero tubs on location. The fact they are so blaise about it at the front desk is disappointing.

This was one of the worst check in processes I've ever experienced. The first thing the guy at the front desk says is "I don't have any rooms available". Mind you, it's 4pm there are multiple people waiting for their room at "check in" time. The guy was so rude, no remorse, and the excuse of they had a lot of weddings yesterday is unreal. Has that not been the case every weekend? We had to get ready for the wedding in the lobby bathrooms. Absolutely horrible.

I had booked through Expedia and paid in full. The hotel charge me for the night and still has not refunded me the money. Even with my booking confirmation and talking with them in the lobby they had it in their system.it’s been almost a week and I’m still dealing with them not refunding me. My next step is to go to BBB and see if they can help me get my refund. At this point it’s going to be hard for me to use Expedia if this is something I’ll have to deal with each time I book a hotel

From start to finish our experience was incredible. The front staff was busy but so lovely and welcoming, we were able to check in before 4 pm. Our room smelled so good and was clean as a whistle. The shower pressure was incredible and the shampoos and soaps were an added benefit. The kids loved the pool. We then had drinks at the hotel bar with our friends and Thomas was the best bartender ever, friendly, attentive, and quick. He was the only staff member there with a huge crowded lobby. Breakfast was equally amazing, with the two nicest waiters/managers manning breakfast. Overall we’d stay here again every change we get.

Breakfast was the worst Ive experienced globally. Buffet breakfast consisted of dried thin sausages, Bacon which broke into shards on the plate, egg was green and tasted of nothing, clearly it was a powder substitute and not egg, and thats it. Nothing else was offered but those 3 stale dry items. The nearest form of transport is 15-20 minute drive away, so we were spending $15 daily just to get to a station. The train oit of the town was 1:50 minutes. So you're soending almost 4 hours daily sat to het in and out of the town, amd paying $35 per adult for thr privilage. There is absolutely nothing to see orndo nearby aside from a shopping mall. Which when seen once is overrated and dated. The toilet in the room had to be manually filled with water each time. Cleaners would come behind the door from 7am and have full blown conversations outside the door, every morning. Loudnand drunk hotel guests weren't toned down by staff when returning at 3am every night crrating chaos. Central corridor wallpaper was falling off, the ceiling in thr cebtral corridor also had damp and lining peeling off. Rooms werent cleaned all day on some days, despite thr please service the room tag being left outside. One day they cane to try and clean the room at 15:19! I was extatic when leaving and shall not be returning in my lifetime. Shocked this is a Hilton hotel!

Great place rest your head and save few bucks when going into New York City. It took less than 40 minutes to drive to the city in the morning and was 100 plus less when you factor the extra room and visitors taxes to stay in NY and this place is far Safer!

It was perfect for what i needed. Was working an event yesterday evening I was hungry when i got back but the kitchen was closed. Otherwise everything was great. Im a former hotelier, i would know. Oh and no paper available during breakfast.
