I believe you get what you pay for, and calibrate my expectations accordingly. In this case, however, even my low expectations were disappointed. The bed was the best thing, so props for that. But the front desk guy (who was there the evening I checked in and again the next morning at breakfast time), was on his phone always speaking very loudly in a south Asian language, even in the "breakfast" room. Breakfast was sausage links and...hard boiled eggs. Seriously. The room felt like a jail cell and the hallway was dark and dirty.

Very disappointed in this hotel. To begin, this property does not have an elevator. We were given a room on the second floor, and my father-in-law had to climb a steep, concrete staircase and we had to drag all of our luggage up. This is the only time I've seen a hotel with more than one floor not have an elevator. In the room, the TV remote was not working properly. I called the front desk and they said someone would be up shortly to help resolve the issue. No one came and after an hour, I just gave up. The breakfast was ok. It was just like any other hotel breakfast. Nothing special, but not bad. Just not a lot of hot choices.

Our room was very clean. The check-in was trouble-free. Staff is fine: efficient. Everything worked in the room, but it needed some TLC in matters such as paint. The rooms are not easily accessible: steps up into the near building, a very long ramp to access another building. So if you're older or hobbled in any way, be prepared. I think we got our money's worth, since the cost was on the low side.
