One of the locks on the door didn't work. Only 1 lamp in the room worked. The mini fridge froze all of my food and it was leaking water. The indoor pool was closed, and that's one of the main reasons I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool. My tv would turn on but I could not get any channels, I was only able to turn the volume up and down. There was blood stains on 2 of the pillow cases. When we first arrived, it would not let us check in early on the website, even though we received a text message and a link to do so. Our check-in time at first said 3:00pm, but once we got to the hotel they told us we could not check in until 4:00pm. So we had to wait around for an hour and the line was ridiculously long. We sat in line for another 20-30 minutes to check in. Whole experience was not good.

I loved that the breakfast was free every morning, but we booked it for the fitness center and pool. Both of which, were unavailable. Their fitness center was closed and the machines not plugged in with drywall pieces everywhere, and the pool had a closed sign that says its not up to code with The City of Albuquerque.

Pool was under renovation as we were told but reopened the last night it was the only reason we stayed, homeless people roamed the parking lot made it unsafe and saw drug deal happen before our eyes.

We did not have any issues with our hotel stay other that the motel is old and outdated. The hide away bed in couch was broken but maintenance brought up a roll away bed that we set up in the middle of the main living area. The TV is small, and you can only stream Netflix. You have an option to watch live tv stations. Parking was easy and abundant. The indoor pool had extremely cold water, the spa was not working, and there was a noticeably unpleasant smell in the pool area. The fitness room was closed due to renovations, and this was not mentioned on website when I booked room. Morning breakfast was the same each day with cereal, pancake, egg, sausage links, shredded potato options, with some fruit and yogurt options differing day to day, toast, muffin and biscuit options limited. They had a gift shop with drink and snack options, but it was not open every day when we were there. The best part of the stay was all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

I booked this hotel for the pool, but the pool was shut down. The exercise room is in the pool room which was also closed. I don’t think they have plans on opening them anytime soon. Every morning the free breakfast comes without gravy for your biscuits but the rest of the breakfast isn’t bad. There’s a nice tv in the room. Comes with a fridge and microwave.

Room was filthy. Stains on the carpet, urine on the toilet seat, facial hair on the towels, footprints on the bathroom floor. Talked to the front desk via phone and text and was told our room would get a full clean the next day. We were out of our room for 11 hours, doing things around town. Came back and room still was not clean. I went down to the front desk and let them know. I even offered to clean the room myself of they gave me cleaning supplies. The front desk staff told me that it wasn't clean yet (this was 4 in the afternoon)

The bathroom was filthy. It had a red substance stuck in the floor and the sink and counters looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. The carpet was dirty and had debris scattered all over it. The beds were clean and comfortable.

I booked a "stay cation " for my family from the 19th through the 21st, the pictures on the website looked awesome... I booked through Trivagio, who sent me to expedia.com and I got the room for us. The place sucked! Another post following with more pictures and more explanation! Light didn't work, black mold on the bathroom popcorn ceiling, pool was disgusting, whirlpool had a sign saying that the jets weren't working, etc. I also was charged an extra $300 because we lived in town. I told the woman at the front desk that we were NOT staying there and that I wanted a refund and she said "Not going to refund you, you already checked in, but I can give you another room" (we were booked into room 148) and she gave me a room card for room 147, just as bad as the original room we got! I didn't have anyone I could call (she wouldn't give me a number) so we were stuck there. No restaurant on the premises (which it showed in the pictures), we did the breakfast buffet on Friday and I ended up getting food poisoning... NEVER go there!!!

None of the lights worked all the bulbs were burned out. There was cockroaches crawling everywhere even in my bags. I had to check them before I left just to make sure there was no stow aways.

Found bed bugs the next morning! The bathrrom hadnt been fully clean, toothpaste was on the sink, the toilet was broken. Not a very clean room at all! Had i seen th3 bed bugs BEFORE bed, we would have left!

Im not a complainer, Im usually happy with a comfy bed and clean room, that is all I care about. This place was so nasty! Hairs all over bed sheets and bathroom, the carpets are nasty, stained and crunchy. Blood stains on the sheets. The matress was old and nasty with no cover. The box spring was ripped. and there was so much dirt under the bed. The bathroom was moldy. My husband was itchy and said he was being bit several times. The pictures online are very decieving. There was a multi-outlet that was powering everything that was disgusting looking, I would think it would be a safety issue. Please read reviews not just here but on google. They are all the same. I felt so unsafe. It was a bad area, lots of homeless and rough crowd. You could see where my room door had been pryed open. My balcony door wouldnt lock and was no longer in the frame. we pushed our furniture in front of it for some sense of safety. The gym equipment was all broke and seats were falling apart. The only good thing was the security guy, he was really cool and helpful, its a shame this place is so bad theres a need for security. I felt bad for the lady working the desk, I didnt feel like she was safe. They charge 100$ security deposit which I havent got back. and they will not refund anything if you cancel. The bar looked decent but it wasnt open. We didnt dare bother with the pool or breakfast. Its sad it looks like it could be made into a nice place but ran by slumb lords.

Someone tried to break into my room. The pool was disgusting. Rooms are nothing absolutely nothing like what they show. Ice machines were broken throughout. I felt so insecure that I didn’t stay a complete day and took lots of photos. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough and the homeless people so many. Seen a girl come from the pool to complain at the desk. She had welts all over her arms from the pool almost looked like bug bites.. don’t walk away from this place RUN! look at the film on top of the pool and they opened it up for people to swim in nowhere in this hotel are the rooms that they show under their advertisement. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t been there yet.

The room had multiple issues. Two of the three lamps did not work, so it was very dark. The bathroom floor and the carpet both had terrible stains. The fridge didn't work. We called the front desk immediately upon entering the room, and they promised to send maintenance up. Maintenance never came up.

Booked a scenic “Sandia Mountain View” and ended up facing the interstate. King bed sunk directly in the middle. TV was shattered, people were arguing outside our room. Sliding door was unlocked on arrival and wouldn’t close. Bathroom was outdated and toilet was leaking. This hotel has really gone downhill, so disappointing.

The faucet to the shower was leaking and very noisy. Couldn't sleep. The wall had a giant crack in it, the sliding balcony door would not close or lock. The toilet was dirty as well. Also, I don't believe I got my deposit back for the room.

I reserved 3 mo in advance did the pre check in 3 days before arrival i had 3 kids with me checking in at 11pm and they told me they overbooked and had no rooms available!!!! I sat in the parking lot in the middle of the night with 3 kids and had to find a last minute place. Bs!!!!

The hotels appearance was slightly rundown with some of the outside door access not working well. The beds were very comfortable and having a balcony was nice to be able to go outside. The rooms were just old. Some of the mechanics of the room had problems like plugs, bathrooms, and the cable went out a couple of times. The breakfast hit the spot. All the things you needed, and eco friendly as they could be. The staff was always wonderful.

Check in was a nightmare - it was pushed an hour later with no previous notification, and then had to wait in line another half an hour to get a room. Got to the room and the TV was smashed and had to be replaced. The room had a smell, the phone was sticky and the room overall didn't feel very clean. Breakfast buffet was good.

First of all the room was disgusting! Second, they double charged my card and i still have not gotten my money back, third, I had to check out early and the hotel manger said “call tomorrow “ which meant today to get your refund and then when you all reached out she lied and said I refused the refund! I then called to tell them what was going on and the rude manager said that they never said to call tomorrow meaning today Monday, that I needed to call yesterday Sunday when I left to get the refund! When I checked out , she even dismissed me with her hand and said to “call Tomorrow to get your refund!” Very unprofessional even after I was very nice even though they took money from card twice saying “oh it’s because your card was on file twice!” Come on make it make sense!! I am never booking again with them or through here again. Through it all I stayed cool but then she flat out lied, that’s not okay!

Was rude when I told him I didn't have a confirmation number and I only had an itinerary number. Asked him many times to look me up by name and just stood there. The receptionists did not communicate what was going on during check in. This is frustrating after driving 10 hours.The credit card machine did not display the total cost that was being charged at check in. I had to ask the receptionist to tell me before i swiped to confirm the price was the same as what i reserved online via expedia. It was at that time that the receptionist said I was being charged a $100 hold fee. When i was given a receipt to sign and initial, the $100 holding fee wasnt listed. So i inquired as to why it wasnt listed. They said it was because it is a holding fee. I stated that the receipt mentions all other potential fees for smoking and pets, etc, but no holding fee. Then, it was at that time I noticed the receipt states 2 double beds. I was confused since my reservation was for 1 king bed. I asked the receptionist about it. He stated that there were no king beds available. I told him that id that's the case, just communicate that to me. However, another front desk receptionist came over to assist him to confirm and saw that a king bed room was available. Instead of being presented with an updated receipt to reflect this, he just gave me new keys. So, i scratched out the room number on my original receipt and changed it to match the keys given. 1st the keys didnt let me in. 2nd after keys were fixed, i walked in on people already in the room. 3rd time was a charm when i was given another room.

It’s everything the other bad reviews mention about old & smelly etc. However there was plenty of hot water & great shower pressure; the A/C worked great & the front desk & breakfast staff cheerful & accommodating. So I gave it a poor on structure but excellent on staff. There are many other hotels in the area (Midtown), stores & restaurants, so it’s in a good location.

Front desk clerk was sharp. Neighborhood a little rough, but their hotel facility is clean, fairly well maintained, and secure. The free breakfast doesn't start in time for early travelers & workers, and they don't have any pre-dawn "to go" bags available). The location is centrally located in the city with easy access to the two major freeways through New Mexico.

The pictures on the website do not match the atmosphere. I believe it's false advertising. The hallways were dirty, the elevator was hot, the bathroom was not so great. Everywhere had an odor, had to spray my body spray just to make it smell better, dresser draws kept opening on their own. A lot of homeless people out front. I honestly would not recommend this place.

This hotel is undergoing renovations; however, we had a nice quiet stay. We enjoyed the excellent coffee and good breakfast and free level 2 EV chargers on the property which gave us a full charge to continue our journey. Thanks so much!

Staff was helpful. The dining was not open b cause Chef didn’t show up. After traveling all day we were ready to unwind, have a drink and some food . We had to get back in the car to find food. It was very frustrating. We sat down to eat breakfast and they started cleaning up breakfast before we could even start eating.
