Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Red Rock-Gallup

We stopped for the night on our way from Vegas to Tulsa. We had a Uhaul trailer and it was safe for the night in the parking lot. Check in was digital with an agent over a screen, so that was a little weird.

Property was dated. No elevator to upper floor. Room was clean but needs to be updated. No weaterstripping around door so sounds from hallways was heard inside. Outside windows and tracks were dirty. Advertised breakfast needs to be removed. No breakfast, just a container with granola bars and a thermos of coffee. No staff visable except at check in.

Heated indoor pool while snowing outside was awesome.

Older hotel, lots of broken things. Facet runs with the shower, outlet cords fall out of wall. The water in the white was brown! Hot tub closed. Mostly construction workers staying there.

Check-in was quck and easy. Polite staff. Room was clean. The only issue we had was a loose tile in the bathroom floor. Other than that, it was great for an overnight stay on our road trip. The Hotel has two floors, no elevator. So if you have heavy luggage or a mobility issue, be sure to ask for a room on the 1st floor.

Was a good 1 night stay. Pool and hot tub was my favorite part.

Room was very large and clean and comfortable! Indoor Pool was very clean. Unfortunately it wasn’t heated and the hot tub was out of order at the time. Would definitely stay there again .

The room was fine. No elevator to second floor was a disappointment as well as the breakfast area. The air conditioning in the breakfast room and office area was not working. We couldn’t stay for breakfast due to the heat.

Bed bugs were immediately found on the bed, i was offered another room instead of a refund and had to call to receive a refund. Also have still not received my deposit back.

Room was dirty the curtains didn’t close right the clock was broken. Over all a bad stay!

Check in was extremely impersonal. A video screen? Really? No humans? The property was absolutely filthy. Lights not working, air conditioning barely functional. The chair in my room couldn’t be used since it was broken.Breakfast was REALLY bad. All the machines like the juice machine, waffle machine, toaster all had out of order signs. What was served was horrible. Packaged sugar lol. This place was so bad it was rediculous. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very kind!

Unfortunately found a dirty washcloth that was with the clean towels. Not sure if a previous guest had left it or if it was missed when putting away. I understand mistakes happen, but in my years of traveling I've never seen this happen.

Extremely strong scent of Curry the minute you walk in the door. It's an old hotel. Most of the outlets either don't work or the panels are coming off of them. No complimentary soaps. The soap dispenser in my shower had water in it instead of soap. The beds were comfy. But for a Sunday this hotel was remarkably empty. Almost no one there. Upon check out today I was greeted by talking to somebody on a video wall instead of an actual person in front of me. I also got five or six emails saying something about modification to my reservation. I would say to skip this place just unless you're desperate.

Room was clean it is an older place but good for the price.

We got catfished badly! The online pictures show a completely different hotel. When we got to our first room, the whole room smelled like someone’s body odor plus broken tile in the bathroom, various stains on the carpet. We were moved to another room that was exactly the same besides the body odor. This hotel needs a desperate renovation.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at the Days Inn in Gallup, NM. My biggest concern is always a comfortable bed, and you didn’t disappoint ! The room was clean and comfortable. I definitely made the right choice to stay with Y’all !!

Wasn’t quiet until about 2am, very close to train tracks and Route 66 sounded like a drag strip but otherwise everything else was perfect. Staff helped getting a washer going when I was doing laundry.

High speed Wi-Fi and all the best channels helps

My stay was short but the rooms needs a tremendous makeover. Outdated and floors make noise when walking around

It’s just an overnight stay to get to our destination so the price is convenient but I just wish there’s an elevator, struggled to carry our luggages at the second floor. Also, we picked the wrong location across the railroad cause we’re new in town. Other than that, the room is clean and the bed, pillows are comfy. Thanks!

Older definitely, but clean. Our only issue was the walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations in the next room and my granddaughter could hear me talking on my phone when I was outside of the hotel!

Rooms were clean and good size. Staff was friendly and very informative.

I didn't care for a video check in. I feel like it was more difficult to communicate.

Property is very outdated, over priced for a very small room. The room was literally a storage for extra chairs. We had to pay a fee for a service dog. No room service from the room for towels, tissue and toilet paper. I felt unsafe with the virtual check in with no privacy and all that was said was out loud for everyone to hear!. There wasn't employees or security available and doors remained unlocked in the back throughout the night. Our room door had about a half an inch gap and heard every noise in the hallway.

Great place to stay and excellent staff.

I went to turn on the shower and the handle fell off and hit my foot. The timer light in the bathroom wasn't working so the shower was darker than I like. Also I never saw a human person in check in or check out you do everything through a screen. I might be old fashioned but I like human contact.

It was up to the same standards as the Days Inn that we stayed in while in Williams. Nice furnishings. The beds and pillows very comfortable. Everything very clean. We had a very interesting check in. We arrived around 8:30 pm. Instead of a person behind a desk to check us in, there was a young man on a big TV screen who communicated with us and we used the console in front of the screen per his instructions to scan our ID and print out our room keys. Very hi tech and so futuristic. We felt it was a bit impersonal but in the morning when checking out, we met another young man on the screen and an older man actually standing there talking to this young man. The older man I believe to be the manager asked us what we thought of the on screen checkin. He said he can’t find workers to help manage his hotel so the men servicing us on the big screen were actually in India checking us in and out. Quite remarkable so if you want a very different and unique experience, check it out, Still prefer a real person but it was very efficient and we now have a story to tell and the manager came up with very unique way to run the hotel. So sad that there are jobs here that nobody wants and they have to hire outside the country to run their business.

Would never stay there again. And if Days Inn is going to stick with the virtual check in…. Won’t stay at another. Could not understand the person talking and he was about as helpful as a dropper full of water in a forest fire. Breakfast was terrible.

Front staff was hidden in back room and unavailable. In morning, talking to staff was done through a tv set. No live individuals available.

Easy to find reasonable price

Stopped by for a quick pit stop while traveling across the country. Spent the night and was worried about the surroundings of the hotel and was very cautious about where we parked. Not the cleanest or safest of areas, but we survived and the beds were comfortable.

Property was old but beds were comfortable and the area was nice and very clean. Was a good stay.

This was in a older, dirty side of town. Room was tiny, bathroom was tight. No food nearby, only a vending machine. Not happy overall after being on the road all day. Not recommended.

There wasn’t really a breakfast. They had some multigrain fruit bars and coffee but overall not the worst breakfast I’ve ever eaten.

Overall a great value for passing thru. Decent breakfast but the coffee was good. They need to clean the hot tub. Lots of scum on the tile.

Primary booked for a bed and a promised breakfast. They had a bed BUT NO BREAKFAST , I SAY AGING NO BREAKFAST

Odd place. Clean for sure but check in is not personal. Done through video. The breakfast is in a hotel room that’s been converted but it’s very hot and stuffy and feels like a germ fest with no circulation. Also, terrible coffee and no creamer options. Kinda sad to see a place be so scimpy.

The breakfast was cereal and they ran out of milk, there was 4 strips of bacon for several people and they never added more. There are many hotels in the area in similar price range with much better food, service and rooms!

Breakfast was mediocre.

We stayed one night here with our dog. Clean room with comfortable bedding. My husband enjoyed the bacon and egg after the continental breakfasts we’ve been having.
