This must have been a great place in the past, you can see that. 2/3 of this place is abandoned. There is no indoor pool. It has been closed since the beginning of covid. Please look for a better more honest listing. I wish I had.

The hotel was interwsting as it had both interior entrances to rooms as well as exterior. We stayed inside and did not have a window facing out of the hotel. Our window faced the hallway and lobby. Very cool art in the lobby. The restaurant/bar was closed and appeared to have been for some time. The continental breakfast was adequate but lacked the infamous waffle-maker. The room was very nice and so was the lobby. The surrounding area was less than desirable.

Facility was in terrible shape. My room had stained sheets and a bed bug ran out when I pulled back the sheets. I ended up leaving and found a different hotel. Complained at the front desk and told them I was leaving. Talked to the general manager who said the room was non refundable. Joke of a hotel, Expedia should not book rooms here.

Firstly karma when I called this property to booket I was told that there was a pool on sight so I was misinformed. I am not sure if this was an expedia person or the hotel staff itself but upon arrival there was no pool so I was Very disappointed then when I checked into my room. The shower had hair inside of it from the previous guest and the bed was not made properly. I felt like I was sleeping and used linens.

I should have realized this was a mistake when I asked to go to the restroom before checking in and the restroom was literally falling apart, ceiling tiles dirty and water stained. The lobby was okay, at best, but I decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I got into the room, and it had glass floor to ceiling windows that rattled when I shut the door. There was an indescribable stench in the room as well. I immediately went back to the front desk and checked out. I told the receptionist that I didn't feel safe nor comfortable. When I asked her to release the "incidental" hold on my credit card, she said that she had to call the manager and tell them that I hadn't stayed and would call me once that had been done, and the hold was released. I never got a call back. How this hotel got an Expedia rating of "7.4 Good" is absolutely beyond me. I wouldn't rate it a 0.5 Horrible as that would be generous in my opinion. One word to the wise... RUN! Do NOT book this property!!!!!

Good hotel to sleep and shower, although you couldn’t adjust the air in room so that was a bit uncomfortable due to it getting hot at night. The breakfast was not that great had to wait 30 minutes for them to refill after it was finished. But overall a quiet and clean hotel.

When the heat kicked on it was loud! The room was clean, the building is older. The tile on the bathroom floor was cracked. There needs to be more grip on the tub floor, it is very slippery.

The staff was very responsive when I phoned in the need for a post 11pm checkin and was very pleasant in-person. The lobby is spacious but vacuous. The bed in the room was comfortable, the pillows less so, and the bathroom was cramped with rusty faucet & drain, small & very short toilet, and poorly installed and mismatched tiles.

The rooms are large and very comfortable, the bed was so comfortable, and it is like a 3-4 star hotel, but at 2 star prices! I was so surprised at all the comforts, large TV, fridge, microwave, and very nice! Thank You!

Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel which was once a Holiday Inn is still maintained well even though the building is 40 plus years old. I’d recommend this place for its service and its price.

Stayed for several days for a relocation to town. Manager allowed us to check in a little early because of our very long drive. They always cleaned our room thoroughly upon request and on time. Friendly staff and decent breakfast too.

Checking in was easy and charges were well explained, very friendly young lady. Our door was difficult to open but once inside the heat was on and the room was clean. The room had a comfy bed (with crispy white linen) a refrigerator and a microwave. Applebee’s was about 3 miles so that was convenient. Oh yeah, there are trains that go by at night, overall a pleasant stay!

I was checked in by an unfriendly guy. I have been staying in Wyndham motels for years. I live in South Texas where it is very humid. My wife gets nose bleeds in dry climate so she grabbed a wash cloth and threw it away with blood on it. The checkout clerk made it seem like I had stolen private property and charged me 5 dollars. I won't be staying there ever again.

The accommodations were not as advertised. The room was unclean, smelled unclean, and felt unsafe. When we tried to leave we were refused a refund, the frint desk agent spoke about us in a another language to the management and then ignored us when asked questions about the conversation or the call from hotels.com.

Literally reminded me of raccoon city. There was more than 50 drug users riding around walking around at 3 AM when we got into the hotel. When the gate opened for the parking lot, a crackhead ran by on his bike to get in and take ice from the ice machine. Stay away from this hotel. Do not recommend

The beds were nice and new, and the towels were clean. They had really cool metal statues artwork that sold for $8K-$45K in the lobby… everything else needs lots of work! The carpet is old and needs to be replaced, the breakfast was gross and breakers blew as we waited to even get drinks while a 1 person staff in a huge hotel ran back and forth to flip the switch…. In his winter jacket that he wore all night & morning long because obviously the very old, once very nice hotel is trying to save money at all cost.

It is a HUGE facility and was a must stay in its heyday. Right on the Mother Road (Route 66) it was a major motel. Although, its seen its heyday, its a nice for the price, place to stay. A full breakfast was a bonus we were not expecting. Eggs, sausage, potatoes and other items.

I read tons of reviews of hotels in the area. Some seemed pretty sketchy. We were super impressed with this hotel! It was convenient, very quiet inside, a fantastic breakfast, and friendly service. The statues were really interesting to look at, my son enjoyed finding the recycled parts that made up each one. The breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Lots of options - hot eggs, potatoes, sausage, bagels, cinnamon raisin bread, and lots more. The room was clean and quiet, the only thing that could have been better was the pillows. My husband and I both found them small and lumpy - and just two per bed so no options. We would recommend staying in this hotel, especially for families with children looking for a safe and interesting place with a lot of choices for breakfast!

The hotel is being renovated. The walkways were very rough. It seemed like there was hardly anyone there. The breakfast was not all that good. The eggs were cold but the plates and cups were styrofoam so I couldn't heat them in the microwave. The mattress was a little hard.
