Best Western Rivers Edge

I really loved the Riverside view! The bathroom was huge and had great lighting. The breakfast was so yummy! The hot tub was a great experience being able to see the night sky's and river flow! Would definitely be returning!

This was our first stay at this property and we were very pleased that when we checked in we were able to get the room that we requested. Also the breakfast was made to order which was a surprise. We appreciate it the staff lighting the fire pit at night so we could visit with some of the other guests. This was certainly a pleasant stay

Our second time to stay here. Once in the winter for ski trip this trip in the fall. Alittle R and R trip. Just like I remembered it. Very cozy ski town/ mountain vibe. Rooms were clean. Hot tub was very nice. And made to order breakfast was fantastic. Walkable to store and down Main Street. Def worth staying at.

Location next to Red River and comfortable room and great staff. Wish they had an elevator.

Bedding changed only once in the week we stayed, front desk should communicate this at check in. Breakfast was included and basic but nice. Lovely river front with tables, fire pit weather permitting. Our room was dark with some type of clanging in bathroom.

Wish the hot tub was working, but it is a beautiful location. Very relaxed my down by the River.

The room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to nearby chair lift. Hot, made to order breakfast daily (eggs, bacon, waffles) plus additonal breakfast items. The hot tub was a great benefit after a day on the slopes! Bonus that animals are welcome as this was our first time traveling with ours.

Built on the side of a roaring river. Our room opened to a deck overlooking the river Bad was the room was on the corner with a laundry room next door and we had noise most of the evening.

Our room had a very strong musty mold smell. Had to keep the window open. Bed was comfy. Location was good. Breakfast was made 7-9 that was nice. Needs updated. The back is nice on the creek. Would ask for those rooms.

Great location next the river. Having the breakfast area in same area as the office it was very crowded, which didn't open until 7am. Small amount of building maintenance, but rooms and property were extremely clean. Rooms were updated. Friendly staff.

Red River is beautiful, but I think all of the hotels are probably outdated and run down. This one was no different. The staff was pleasant but overwhelmed. The rooms were ok, air conditioning didn’t work and the room had a weird smell. It appeared clean enough, but it wasn’t overwhelming for the amount of money we paid.

The hotel is in a perfect location. We enjoyed our stay! Breakfast is cooked for you every morning, hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing.

I stay here every time I’m in Red River and I’m never disappointed. Staff is super friendly and rooms are clean !!

Beautiful view and comfortable place to stay with a good breakfast

Hotel was nice but the 2nd floor was a bitt scary because when you walked across the floor it didn’t feel like it was sturdy. You could feel it shake kinda when you walked. Breakfast was wonderful, food was fantastic. The girl working the hot food was great!

We loved that it was right next to the river which we saw folks fishing and catching fish. One block from main street area where all of the restaurants were located..just take a nice walk to eat or have drinks at the brewery. Room was large and clean. Breakfast the next morning was huge with eggs, bacon, toast, etc. which they made for us right on the spot.

Great location and very pet friendly but fairly run down and dark room

We stayed in a room in back with an amazing view of the water. They have a beautiful deck closer amd plenty of BBQ's. My only complaint is that people were talking loudly outside pretty late, but ill let them have it, since its an environment that really fosters conversation between strangers

Best Western River’s Edge is an interesting property. The beds are super comfortable. We slept well both nights. The hotel is on the banks of the Red River. Several guests fished the river. There is comfortable seating on the back lawn near the river. House keeping refreshes the rooms each day. Breakfast is cooked to order eggs and waffles other self serve items. Hotel is located within easy walking distance of most of downtown WITHOUT the noise of being on Main St. Negative…the floors squeek. We would stay here again. The proximity to the river is worth it. Recommend rooms on the river side.

Overall great stay. My wife had to work a few hours every morning and internet/connectivity/speed—at least during our stay, never an issue. We did happen to have a 2nd floor unit, right in the middle of the property for 7 out of our 8 nights, which may have assisted in that. Our 8th night, which was unplanned but necessary, due to my wife experiencing some symptoms of a chronic health condition, was in the “family unit” on the end right above the hot tub and office. This room we did experience some connectivity issues, however it was Saturday and was not an issue for work. Staff was fantastic. Mike Patel, the manager, along with the lady working the weekends —Kim I believe, both were awesome. On our 8th night—which again was unexpected and was booked the day of after checking out and then having to return around 11:30am after turning around and back to RR, got us checked back in and into our room immediately. Did not have to wait until 2/3pm and that was just fantastic. My family has been going to RR since I was 6 . My grandparents owned a home there up until 2010 and for the last decade plus we have typically stayed at the same rotation of 2/3 properties. This trip however, we needed a separate place due to my wife needing to work part time while there and so while most of the family stayed in townhome at claim jumper , we were able to book room at Best Western for a week, 8 days out. We will absolutely stay here again, likely for Oktoberfest weekend. Great experience!

Right along the river, we were able to open the window and hear the rushing of the water all night and day. Seating right along the river! Made to order breakfast; basic but good - eggs, bacon, waffles plus yogurt and cereal options. This was a great stay for a break away in Red River. We will return!

Property was very clean and the breakfast was amazing (cooked to order). Everything was very good except some of our other people had issues with the owner. And the fact that the venmo link to tip the cook went to the owner and not the cook is not cool. Otherwise, was a good time and would most likely stay again.

It was very unpleasant the breakfast service chef, he was rude not only to me I saw doing it to several peoples too. He didn't explain what he had to offer for breakfast..just what do you want to eat? in a very rude way. won't go again to this hotel

The property was great with early check in! The place was in a great location! Lots of things to do within walking distance! Really nice walking trail on the other side of the stream.

This place was very noisy all hours of the night. People doing laundry in the am hours. We got no sleep. Upon arrival the clerk said he did not have a reservation for me. Good thing I had my confirmation # with me. Then he told me it was for a different night. I said no, check again. The room rate much less than we were charged by Expedia. The receipt I signed said room rate was 133.00. So we were way overcharged. Won’t use Expedia again. Won’t stay at Rivers Edge again either.

I booked a reservation at this hotel well in advance, only to arrive and be told that my booking was not in their system. Despite having confirmation details, i was instructed to call expedia before we could proceed, since i booked with them and the hotel staff blamed expedia for the lost reservation. It was frustrating and inconvenient, especially after a long journey. They eventually found a room for me. If you're considering staying here, double-check your reservation multiple times to avoid the same hassle. The overall stay was good with no complaints for staff of facilities.

Excellent Location with Red River flowing just behind the Hotel as well as forest views. The main Chair Lift is close walking distance about 15 yards from the hotel. Overall....a nice experience.

We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. It is a great location, many options for dining, skiing, or shopping within walking distance. The staff were pleasant and having the seating in the back of the hotel to view the river was very relaxing.

We spent 3 very relaxing nights in Red River and this is the best spot in town. It sits right on the river and has a huge porch, where you can just sit and enjoy the quiet. It is 1 block from the main road in town and the grocery store! Mike made us fresh breakfast every morning. Amazing!

Great location, right by the ski lift. Easy parking close to the room. A lot of attention to details for the room itself. Would recommend.

Faces not only the river, but you're almost on top of the ski run, and Capo's Italian restaurant is right across the street. Lovely. I will be back!

The breakfast was awesome! They cooked our eggs and the waffles were fantastic. Our room was clean and we had a view of the river. The only complaint I have is our niece and her family stopped by for a few minutes while we were out by the river and a guy came out very rude asking if we were guests of the hotel. He could have been polite about it. Will we stay here again…yes
