Ponderosa Lodge Ascend Collection

Room was clean. Shower was awesome! Furnishings and accessories are modern spartan, not accommodating longer duration stays. Under renovation construction at the time of this entry. Person in floor above was walking around a lot and noise carried through. Kept us up passed midnight. Could hear everyone come and go up the straits and along the walkway.

Parking was easy and convenient. Close to resort activities!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place seemed quiet. Water was hot, towels were fresh and clean. They have an ice machine with the good "Sonic ice" and cold water. Skiing was within walking distance, but with all the gear needed, we drove. I'd stay here again. You can find a video walk-thru on my TikTok account.

Everything is about a two to three minute walk. Dinner is right across the street.

I have been here before it was remodeled, and they have done a great job. The best shower/modern shower head...incredible!!! But the checkout time at 1o am is way too early.
