The restaurant food and staff was excellent! Location is good but in front of busy street. This hotel is a family friendly hotel with lots of kids running around. The pool was even closed for someone who was sick in it.

This Holiday Inn was amazing. It had such a family friendly set up with the pool, basketball court, putting green, people sized chess set and a splash pad for the little ones. All overlooking beautiful Lake George. It also had a sweet indoor pool on the days that it wasn’t so nice. They also offer a very nice restaurant that we enjoyed both nights that we were there. I was very impressed. I would stay there again.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel - clean, quiet, great pool, fun kid activities. On- site restaurant was good. They also had an indoor pool, small arcade, fire pit area. There was plenty of free parking. My only issue with this resort was related to the service. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and self service. However we had to wait to be seated and the servers would walk past us or say they'll seat us then walk away and not return. We asked for coffee which was the only thing they actually served and it took far too long than what seemed reasonable. Same when we asked for the check. The other frustrating aspect of service was the requirement to check out pool towels and checking them back in. During the day the concierge was responsible for this and the system worked. But once the concierge left for the day we had to wait in line with people checking in to return the towels. Sometimes this took quite a while - like 15 minutes to return a towel while we're soaking wet and cold in the hotel lobby. Other than these nuisances our stay was enjoyable.

Holiday Inn Lake George was a great place for our family’s first time in Lake George. The hotel is conveniently located and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the town or a 2 minute drive. The hotel has just about everything you need when traveling with young kids. The outdoor pool was really nice and we enjoyed sitting poolside. They also have basketball courts, bocce, a putting green, mini golf outside. Inside they have an indoor pool and a kids activity center which came in clutch the one day they cleared the beach because of thunderstorms. Every day they do free ice cream at the pool for the kids and at night they do a movie poolside. Also we enjoyed the fire pits every night and there were plenty to sit around. The restaurant is great for breakfast. Kids eat free with a paid adult and service there was really great. We did not try the dinner but I believe they have the same deal. There were only a small handful of minor occurrences where the hotel fell short that would have made it a perfect stay. They did tell me upon check in one of the outside doors was having an issue and wouldn’t open with the key. A minor inconvenience since our room was closest to that door and parking. Also the door going back inside the hotel from the pool area was hit or miss and worked 50 percent of the time and we would have to wait for someone to open the door. Also, the rooms have barn doors for their bathrooms. Overall we loved our stay and recommend this hotel!

Upon rival to my room it wasn't ready at 4:00 I was scheduled to be at a wedding at 5:00 I had a change in a bathroom I was very unhappy I left I came back I noticed that there was a stain on my comforter in the bed the bathroom toilet was not clean there was pee all over the floor so clearly the room was not cleaned so the next day I mentioned it to the supervisor and they clean my room it was very well done the location I'm very happy with and it was a quiet relaxing weekends I highly recommend calling to confirm that the room will be ready

Dirty bedding in two different rooms and hair on the bathroom floor was not a good first impression, however, the amenities seemed great and the location was prime. The restaurant was very good. I do t think I’d stay here again but it does look great for families with lots for kids to do.

The room had a strong clorox smell, so strong it was hard to breath. The front desk person was upset that i requested another room, she found a room in a corner with a closet that didn't even feet a pair of shoes. The toilet seat was broken, i toom pics , hair was in the counter of the bathroom. I was very disappointed and so was my granddaughter.

We had a very good time. The main area lacking was housekeeping. Alot of dust in the room, gave us 2 conditioners and no shampoo and ehen I requested the shampoo we never got it. We had a suite that was listed as rooming 6 people and they only gave us 4 towels. When we reminded them we had 6 people, they were quick to bring us more towels. However,

Check in was quick and they gave us cookies. Room was cool and nice. Modern and clean. We went straight to the indoor pool which was perfect on the hot day. We slept great and the beds were comfortable. No complaints. Excellent value.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Lake George for the winter getaway with my husband and 3 children (under 10) When we arrived, we were greeted by Becca, the most kind person at the front desk who advised us of our Kids suite with included 2 incredibly comfy Queen beds & a connecting (massive room) with bunk beds, kids tables and bean bag seats. This was the most comfortable sleeping arrangements we have had at a hotel. the rooms were also very clean. We had a visit with Santa in the lobby, complete with cookie decorating and crafts. The pool and outdoor hot tub were awesome, not to mention the little arcade and play area were just perfect for our kids. The hotel restaurant had the best breakfast, fresh fruits, delicious omelettes and waffles. Best part - kids ate free! We had such an excellent winter getaway - could not say enough great things about our stay!!! Thank you!

We went for the winter festival which was a bust...don't waste your time. The facility was clean and well run, however it was not built with the best soundproofing. Every word spoken in the hall was easily heard in the room as well as use of the toilets and conversations in adjoining or overhead rooms. There is really nothing that can be done. The all you can eat breakfast was good, well prepared and presented and the bar was great as well... Compare prices with the many options on the main drag, which are easily walkable. This choice required a two night stay. Not disappointed with our stay

My wife and I visited for the total eclipse. We found the bed very comfortable. There were two minor flaws that could have made our stay even better than five stars. The TV was set in demo mode. Every minute, it would display its features, which was an annoyance while watching the NCAA women's final. The drain plug was broken in the tub, which kept the water in. I "MacGyvered" a solution. The fix-it man fixed it the second day. Great place. I would visit and recommend it.

location is great, you couldn't adjust thermostat in the room and it would not go above 66-67, and it shouldn't be too cold but it was. there was over 25 kids in a pool and hot tub at any moment from 4pm to 10 pm, we couldn't use it at all. Kids were running up and down a hallway until after 10pm and as early as 7am. So if you have small kids its probably a good place for you but if not i would choose another hotel. Coffey in the morning in the lobby was a nice tough on a cold day, restaurant for dinner was good.

The staff at this location was FANTASTIC!! It’s a very family oriented place with things to do all day. The location is perfect being just a very short drive into Lake George Village. Already planning on returning in the fall!! I’d give this a perfect 10 out of 10!!

Our family had a great time at your hotel. We were greeted by Patti at the front desk who was very pleasant and accommodating with our family. There was another younger front desk lady who was very nice with the kids and us. The housekeeping staff was amazing, we needed extra towels and she got them immediately for us. The restaurant on site is convenient especially when you are traveling with kids. The pool was very nice. And I can’t forget the kiddie room was great for our toddlers. Overall a great experience. We will be back over the summer.

Was very disappointed with thier service. i had a problem with my bath the water didn't go down and i wasn't able to take a shower.it was after 11:00 PM and maintenance was not available anymore. i had a staff member that came and confirmed that its broken. and he told me that he will put a note and we will get a discount at checkout and they will fix it in the morning. I was ok with that. When it came to check out the front desk staff member was very rude and denied that we had a issue at all. She was extremely not nice to us.

Everything was great. The breakfast was excellent with many choices, especially enjoyed fresh fruit. We ate at the bar, hamburger was cooked very good and the drinks reasonable--happy hour! Our room was very comfortable. And we enjoyed a play in the dinner theater.

Pros- Well maintained property with lots of things to do with young children. The pools were fantastic! Staff was helpful and nice. Loved that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel. Liked the proximity to downtown shopping and restaurants. Cons- Hotel decor was a little dated. And did not love that you couldn’t bring breakfast back to your room. That was the only time staff was verging on rude (my husband had asked if he could bring back yogurt for me as I was not feeling well). Not sure why this is such a heavily enforced rule.

Location is great. Close to all of the Lake George Village Attractions. It's clean and they offer very nice breakfast buffet. But they do need to hire a couple of extra people for the restaurant. Thursday night fireworks can be seen right from the fire pit area and the front lawn of the hotel. There is a small dinner and show venue on premises. Watched Shear Madness and it was very funny.

Great staff, very clean and great atmosphere at the on site bar. Thursday night trivia was really fun. Only negative was our experience at the breakfast buffet. Dealt with an obnoxious older man- perhaps the manager- but he’s insignificant in the whole of our otherwise fantastic stay.

This hotel is a great resort with all kinds of activities for bocce ball to pools to minigolf. Fun for the whole family. The food at TR's, the attached restaurant was excellent. Breakfast isn’t included but the buffet is the best hotel breakfast you’ll find. The room was comfy, clean and quiet. Everything was A+.
