3 night stay at the Tiki Resort over delivered expectations on all levels given the poor reviews. We stayed in a 2 queen poolside room on the second floor and room was very clean and appeared to have been renovated in the last few years. Bedswere very comfortable, rooms were cleaned daily, a/c worked great, nice clean bathroom, microwave and mini fridge both new and worked great, table with a couple comfortable chairs, nice flooring and simple decor. Flat screen TV worked well too. Pool was nice. Tiki bar has solid cocktails at $10 a piece, great in tourist area and bartender was very friendly. We did the Waikiki Supper Club one night during our stay and the show was fun. You're paying for the entertainment not the food so folks complaining about the $60 food are looking at it wrong. Great location too as you can walk to a lot of spots within LG in less than 15 minutes and for the price this place is 5 stars! I paid less than $400 for 3 nights in August - come on you cannot beat that! I was prepared for the worst but was very happy with everything. Staff during check in was friendly, staff at dinner was very professional and as I said the bartender at the tiki bar was excellent! For an affordable taste of Polynesian on the strip in Lake George you can't beat the Tiki Resort - we would come again and recommend it.

My best friend & I went on a girls trip for the weekend here. Hotel was so nice! The staff, room, pool, & bar were great. Its also super family friendly there were a bunch of parents & kids but it wasnt horribly rowdy. Only 2 poor aspects: the fitness room is completely broken, couldnt do anything in there. then pools are said to be open til 10, but around 9 they closed the outdoor pool & we werent sure why (it was a lit area) All on all, I will definitely return!

I’ve stayed here before. Close enough to walk to village. Downside…coffee pot in room wasn’t cleaned (had leftover coffee from people before me ) but I had brought my own anyway, bar opens late, fire pit doesn’t stay on real late, downstairs by indoor pool smells, breakfast in restaurant area alittle expensive for the amount you get.

Room was nice and roomy, very neat. Amenities were great: coffee in room, refrigerator, towels, extra sink, outdoor pool very nice with 12” kiddie pool, indoor nice pool, cafe open early, outdoor patio. A little more extra care cleaning walls, new pillows, easier access to indoor pool would be great. Overall great stay no problems.

We stayed there primarily for the Polynesian Show, but we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the resort. The show was good and they have beautiful inside and outside pools. What we especially liked was the EV Charge Stations right on sight. Only negative we saw was a couple of good size holes going to the back parking lot.

We could tell Tiki Resort used to be nice but it’s way past it’s prime. We had to use stairs to bring out luggage to our suite. We found garbage behind an end stand, alarm clock/phone/outlets & general interior of the room is dated and tarnished yellow. The fan in the bathroom is obnoxiously loud. It is in desperate need of a deep clean throughout the premises. The shower was nice. The exercise room should be updated and cleaned. We didn’t want to check out the pools due to the overall lack of cleanliness in the resort.

The wing we were in had issues. The card code would not work at Door B. The landing for the door was not large enough to open the door and stand on the landing. I wear a size 2 1/2 shoe and my foot would not fit on the steps from Door 2. The bathroom had mildew around the tub and the shower curtain holder was rusty. The AC unit smelled musty. The odor once you stepped out of the room hit you of mold and mildew. No one provided us with the wifi password on check in. "Breakfast available" was a small shop for grab n go. The location was convenient. We were promised a "lake view" room - no such rooms exist.

the restaurant change is not like it used to be they don't have waitress they want you to look at a menu at the register paid for food and sit. what if you want something else you will have to pay again.in the past we used to seat order and pay for the food. and we found bugs in the room ,i had to clean the drain on the tub so water will drain

We have stayed here 6 times over the last several years and always have a great time. Rooms are clean and parking is great. Rooms have been renovated and this location is convenient to the main strip and an excellent value.

The room wasn't horrible but it was not good either. You could tell the bathroom floor had not been cleaned as there was someone's hair on the floor and spots of soap. There was a little mold in the bedroom up by the ceiling and you could tell the A/C Unit had probably never been cleaned.The room smelled weird too. The inside pool was slimy and there was mold on the walls.

Room was clean, but tv was not a clear picture or variety of stations. Walls seem a little thin as conversations could be heard from our room. I think the advertisement for the cafeteria should be better communicated. It’s open breakfast hours only and u thought it was included. So other meals you had to go get. The worker in the area was awesome, though working short handed on Saturday. . The special dinner that they showed on web site was summer only and an additional charge.

Spent Oktoberfest weekend at the Tiki, 3 levels of rooms our was located at basement level. No screens in the windows which open but don’t lock. Not very secure for sure. Could hear the water in the pipes from above, quite loud. The heater/air conditioner was very noisy! Low ceilings. Would recommend staying in an upper level if possible. Indoor/outdoor pool. Restaurant on premises but we were there the last weekend before closing for the season so the offerings were very scarce. Decent shower and bed (full size).

Indoor pool is a huge plus if you’re visiting in fall or during thunderstorms Room is very spacious The room wasn’t clean when we arrived but the staff did it again and it was very good after that.

The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, and an easy walk to the main attractions in Lake George. The hotel itself is dated, and the walls are quite thin (you can hear your neighbor's conversations).

Quick overnight stay while traveling. Rooms are clean and comfortable but definitely could use some insulation for noise. Conversations being held in rooms on either side were quite vivid and didn’t miss a word.

The hotel is fine. It’s a lake George hotel, nothing too fancy, you know what your getting into, but a decent fine place to stay. The kid at the front desk was very short though. Headphones in, no pleasantries. I was trying to check in early since I was going to a concert. He was just short with me and told me 3 o’clock. There was no “let me see what I can do” etc. I know these things can be out of their hands but I just felt brushed off like he didn’t want to deal with me. It was uncomfortable.

I put out the do not disturb sign on the door, and it was ignored twice by the housekeeping staff. Once while I was at lunch, and another time when I was in the shower. No concept of privacy or what “do not disturb means” I called the front desk on this matter only to be told “I’m busy, call back”. The customer service sucks!

Ehhhhhh. Staff was rude. While getting ready for bed we had a random couple get assigned our room with our room key. Only got a half of roll of toilet paper to start with and when asked for more housekeeping staff was rude and told us to find the other housekeeper. Won’t be back.

The check in time was late and the room was not ready when we arrived at 3 pm. We waited an hour and then a supervisor appear at staff change around 4 and she offered us a different room that was already cleaned. The room was ok but the toilet seat was loose and the hairdryer shot out sparks. No tissue in the room either. We got misinformation from the desk about restaurants that delived to the Tiki. Upon checkout, we could not get a receipt because we booked through Expedia. We expected more.

We loved the upgrades, the front desk staff were very helpful, professional and very pleasant. We loved sitting at the fire pit and had great drinks made by the very friendly lady bartender! Great experience over all. Will definitely return next year.

Walking in the staff was miserable l, no warm greeting she gave zero information about the property , not even a grin, I actually don’t even think she looked up from the computer. Paid $300 a night for moldy misty smelling rooms with a broken bathroom door that didn’t even lock. People smoke everywhere and it’s not controlled … the whole place is run down … rooms are extremely small.. the show is extra cost of I believe $65 per person , where online it looks like it’s included and offered as entertainment. I would never recommend this place to anyone

We have stayed her several times and have always enjoyed it. Love having the cafe right on property for coffee and breakfast!! Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall is it’s a little bit of a walk into town… but not outrageous by any means.

This is a great bargain, little dated but clean! I would definitely stay here again! The internet was awful! Kept going in and out, but I believe it’s that area, not the resort! The only other complaint is that we booked the Polynesian show with a girl at front desk and it wasn’t explained to us that you could see the show without having dinner and the price wasn’t explained. They do hire a lot of foreigners in the area. We assumed we were paying &30 plots for dinner/show ands got the bill and were surprised! Maybe our fault, but it would have been nice if the girl had explained the difference in pricing. Lesson learned! But overall, it was a great stay and would stay here again!

They are a restaurant downstairs that you can go to, but there are no complementary breakfast or coffee. You have pay that out of your pocket. Which was kind of disappointing because we did pay a lot. But other than that the place is clean and such a nice area. I went with my friends and there was a connecting door and it was perfect for us to pass through. So if you’re a group of friends going to LG I would recommend.

It was clean and the staff was friendly. The Tiki dinner was fun but the price was a bit high. Maybe lowering the price for dinner would attract my guest, especially if the drinks are expensive too?! Our stay was pleasant. I would book there again.

I like that each day our room was serviced without paying extra. I like the breakfast availability in the dining room for morning. This is conveniently located in the middle of everything, very easy to get anywhere. The indoor/outdoor pools were nice. The staff in the bar (Laurie) and in the restaurant- all the ladies- were very friendly!! The only downside is not having a dinner/snack option at the hotel once the breakfast diner closes. I would book this again in a heartbeat for the cost.!!

We were happy with the accessibility to the room since my husband is handicapped. It had a nice walk-in shower. Considering the age of the property, it is in good shape! We also appreciated the breakfast cafe, the food was fast, good and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything was great, employees were friendly and it was close enough for us to walk almost every where. The breakfast was delicious. There is a 50 dollar deposit, and you have to pay for breakfast but its worth it.
