I will not try another one of these hotels unless they offer me a partial refund for the night the fire alarm made us have to leave early and they intend to improve conditions. The facility was full of non traveling families who are living in the hotel. I know this because when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and everyone came out we could see that people were living in their rooms. It was also noisy , unclean, and the equipment in the gym was very run down. No meat or eggs served at the breakfast, only highly processed bread based foods and very cheap coffee. Very disappointed.

They didn't have an elevator and the breakfast was upstairs. We stayed fir a week and housekeeping never visited us. Most of the employees did not speak English, making it difficult to request service.

This was a nice family hotel. The rooms are nice an big and confortable. The kids loved the swimming pool and fitness center. Continental breakfast was a little on the cheap side and the breakfast area is a little too small when the hotel is full, but it was ok in general. The hotel is a little far from the city center, so you have to drive to the center. There are still some activities en restaurants around the hotel, but is a little far from main street.

We used two rooms with our group of seven people. One room the air conditioner leaked. In the other room the toilet would not flush well. Maintenance couldn’t unclog the unflushable toilet and a second person had to be called. The free breakfast went to 9:30 but was limited. NO ELEVATOR!

The hotel was nice, the bed was so uncomfortable, my husband and I did not get much sleep. My kids and I went to swim and it was beautiful outside, and pool was ice cold but was supposed to be heated.

We didn’t expect too much from this hotel due to the other reviews. The fact that this facility is two stories and doesn’t have an elevator needed to be mentioned somewhere in the description. My husband had a knee revision recently and while he can walk fine now, it was a challenge to drag our luggage and supplies up and down the steps.

The site there is an elevator No elevator! The breakfast is on the second floor My elderly friend almost fell down the stairs carrying his wife’s breakfast because she couldn’t climb the stairs My husband is in a wheelchair so he couldn’t go to the breakfast room. False advertisement

The room had beds that were made. But the bathroom had tissue in the toilet but they put a sanitized sticker as if they cleaned it. The tub had hair from the previous visitor. So I had to clean the bathroom once I checked in. And it smelled moist. There were handprints from the previous visitor as well.

Completely nasty. There was toe nails on the carpet by the bed the shower curtain pole was rusted beyond belief the towels smelled pre used so I went out to Walmart to purchase new clean ones.

The worst thing was breakfast that lacked any healthy options. Just lots of carbs and norhing else. It's ok for a one night stay, but it is outdated, the bathtub looked dirty and the ceiling in the room was cracked and moldy.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was really let down by the condition of the room during my stay. The pillows had visible yellow stains and an unpleasant smell, which made it hard to get comfortable. The shower clearly hadn't been cleaned properly—there was still a piece of packaging from a bar of Ivory soap left in the corner. On top of that, the towels didn’t smell fresh at all. It gave the impression that overall cleanliness wasn’t a priority here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as the location was convenient, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay again unless improvements are made.

Couldn’t take a shower because I had half used bottles of shampoo inside my “cleaned” “sanitized” bathroom. Wasn’t informed where or when breakfast was. My pillow had yellow stains on it and there wasn’t a soul to be found at the front desk. Stayed 2 nights and nobody asked if we needed more towels or needed our garbage taken: had to call and ask for garbage bags because no one was at front desk. Mirror in bathroom was not cleaned.

Dirty, that’s the best way to describe the room. The toilet has the paper used to show that it was cleaned, but it was bot, it was with urine around. Disgusting. After that we found Syringes between the bed and the table. We went there with kids and this was not just dirty, it was dangerous. Not so terrible as the other things but I have to mention it, the breakfast is not good at all, nothing with salt and the only healthy option was some apples. A terrible stay

It was just for a quick 1 night stay, close to the lake and it was inexpensive especially considering it is prime summer time. Was convenient for what I was doing, 1 night stay and leave. I will say I noticed that the walls are a little thin, not that I had a problem, just noticed it when I got up in the morning, I could hear the room next to me pretty clearly.

The shower dripped, was rusty. The towel bar was falling out of the wall. The mirrors needed updating as they were falling apart. No local TV available, only streaming available with no prior notice to bring passwords for personal accounts. Lighting was very poor in bathroom/vanity area. Freezer was very dirty with dirty water in ice cube tray. No tissues were available.

The front desk staff was the worst. I have never encountered such rude service. They were just AWFUL - they didn't check us in and would not honor the reserved rate even though I shared email confirmation from Travelocity with them. They mentioned they had rooms but would not give us that rate but were ready to give us a room at a higher rate. When the Travelocity staff tried to call they would hang up. I had to spend 3 hrs with them and the Travelocity staff. It was the worse experience ever. Never ever stay here.

Literally no one at the front desk, both times i had to go to check in because when i showed up at 2 i was told ck in was 4 and they had no rooms clean. Highly unlikely. Then when came back after 6 i once again had to wait forever for someone to come to the front desk. However housekeeping was hanging on my door at 1030 when checkout is 11 asking for my dirty towels. Also brought to their attention that there was a piece of wood with about 14 nails sticking out of it on the ground. Nails up. Was told its part of picnic table.... ok but its not attached and definitely dangerous to step on in dark.

Pictures do not give accurate representation of property. Location is nice. No staff. Took an hour to check in. Dirty room. Asked for staff assistance and received bare minimum IF you could find someone. No handicap accessible elevator. Door keys barely worked. Moldy shower curtain. Dirty cacked shower vent. No trash bags. Broken ice machine. Reached out to Expedia who I booked through and let them know they should not do service with this facility.

The bed was hard as a rock, the television was difficult to navigate. The building was noisy. The first night, teenagers were running around to building and floors until after 11 PM. The second night a youth baseball group, had no control over the youngsters in their charge. They had no respect for the facility. Vending was non existent, only an ice machine. What ever vending they had was locked in a room next to the front desk. They desk person was not there to handle questions. He was off doing maintenance work in rooms. The brochure display rack had discount tickets for attractions, but, the tickets were over four years expired. Not a well run facility.

In regard to my stay at Wingate hotel in Lake George, this was the most bizarre and disappointing hotel experience I have ever had. 1. There is only one staff member that worked there, and he would only show up when I called the hotel phone number so they could pay him to show up at the front desk. 2. Every morning we left our room, our cards became deactivated. 3. The place looks like it hasn’t been touched in months.

The hotel was clean. But it doesn’t stand by Wyndham name. There used to be other Wingate by Wyndham in same area, which was much better overall. We stayed, but breakfast was not at all good. It was all package and/or processes food with sugar.

Checkin and parking were easy but the room was not very nice. Paid way more than it was worth. Could see handprints on the headboard, dirty mirrors, toilet paper roll was a few sheets from empty when we got into the room. Towels were dirty, pillowcases dingy, beds extremely uncomfortable. The lighting in the room was an extremely too bright overhead light and/or two very dim lamps. The breakfast options were all carbs with watered down juice, and breakfast was closed 10 minutes earlier than advertised.
