Comfort Inn & Suites Lake George

Room was not clean and workout room is a closet. Bandaid in pool. Not impressed

We had a pleasant experience, and the receptionists and staff were very kind. Everything was thorough in the instructions they gave at check-in. Check-in process was easy and fast, and we did not have to wait long to get extra towels or bed linens. The area was pretty quiet, and it was very close to Lake George Village and Million Dollar Beach, as well as many dining options. There are mini-golf and bowling places within walking distance. Breakfast was provided at the lobby from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, which was sufficient and convenient. They also had 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available at the lobby. There was an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. No complaints. I do wish check-in times could be earlier than 3:00 PM, check-out time is 11:00 AM which is fine.

Spacious room with a very comfortable king sized bed. Best bed we have had at any of the places we've been. Clean room, we did request a change of towels earlier than they would have provided them. Tiny fridge but we didn't need it for much anyway. Decent Continental breakfast selections. Scrambled or fried eggs, bacon or sausage patties, home fries, waffles, cereals, yogurts, bagels, toast, juices, teas, coffees, etc. Acceptable standard fare. Nice outdoor and indoor pool areas, with a 100°F spa. Pleasant staff, helpful with some suggestions for local eateries and attractions. Quiet location just a short distance from Million Dollar Beach and the heart of Lake George. We were very happy with our stay for the price.

Clean facilities, swimming pools and jacuzzi is very good and the breakfast is perfect!

Pool area a bit dirty and needed painting, room and food were fantastic!

Clean & spacious rooms with mostly flooring, not much carpet which made it feel cleaner. Very uncomfortable couch, low to the ground and hard, probably because it was a sleeper couch. The best was soft and comfortable. Customer service was amazing, allowed early checkin and cared about our stay. The spa was bubbly and warm, the indoor pool was cold and a bit cloudy, and the outdoor pool was heated and sparkly.

Overall great place staff is wonderful place is clean. The breakfast was good. The only problem was hot tub was not working and no place to park all of the atvs , snowmobiles and trailers consumed all of the parking.

Weekend breakfasts ended too warly for us to enjoy, but the facilities were clean and the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Pool looked nice and while the gym was small, it was clean and served our needs. Happy that they had EV Chargers available (ChargePoint)

Just a very clean decent facility well maintained with very friendly staff.

The pool and breakfast was the best part, staff were friendly. Me and my fiance were not impressed with the room condition, crumbs all over the floor, dried food on the furniture plus the door and dead bolt were busted making for an uncomfortable few nights.

Leaving at 1 am from room 325 due to bed bugs. The gentleman at he front desk told me to call the manager in the morning and just let me leave. Disgusting and I will be following up after finally getting home.

The room was barely cleaned before our arrival. Hairs, dust, cookie crumbs near the bed and desk. Bed and pillows were really unconfortable. Matress was scrap.

Stayed for one night. There was an ant and spiders in the room. Big spider web on windows, looks like room hasn’t been cleaned for a while. Room AC is not working well. It will run for a few minutes and stopped for an hour. Room was getting hot and window were stuck. We didn’t sleep well. On the website, they said they have rollover bed for $25 a night but there is none when I check with the front desk. Incorrect information. The staff outside who were cleaning the parking lot fighting over something. One was saying “you are not my boss.” Unprofessional staff. For us, one night stay, was very unpleasant for a $350 a night.

Found a few hairs in the tub. I tried to use the ironing board and the covering was so discolored and dusty that I had to use the bed to iron. Other than that, the room was fine for the area and that staff was nice.

We had a party of 6. Therefore we purchased the upgraded room for our family. However, the couch pull out was absolutely horrible. No one could sleep on it. The coils were practically showing right throw the mattress. Therefore, we had to sleep 3 in a bed and no one got any sleep!!!

Nice average hotel. Little dated, but overall good. Food and shopping area is close by, 10 minutes walk to Lake George beach and activities.

Quality of beds were very good

Overall the hotel is nice. However, the accessible room was a disappointment. Im a wheelchair user. The bed was so high i couldn't get on it. I tried the sofa sleeper but the mattress was so worn that it was only springs on a metal frame. The toilet was so low i needed help to get up. Whoever thought a grab bar BEHIND the toilet was useful? We checked out a day early of our 3 day stay.

The rooms were large and tidy, although they had a bit of a musty odor. The bathrooms included shower gel and conditioner, but I was disappointed that there was no liquid hand soap available. I really don't understand why comfort would still provide bar soap for hand washing. The lotion they offered had an odd scent, which I didn't appreciate at all; it felt like low-quality products. The breakfast was decent, I would say it was reasonable for the cost. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We really liked the convenient location of this hotel, we liked that it was close to everything but not on the main road. The front desk were very nice. We only ran into a problem on the second night and it wasn't due to the staff, it was due to extremely loud guests next to us and above us and in the hallway. We did report it to the front desk and they were as helpful as they could be.

The place was nicely decorated and only 1 staff ront desk for new year eve. Pool so cold could not swim or even go in so hot tub packed with people and kids. No wifi thru the building so i was oncall and could do my job while here with no explaination or time we would have wifi. Room keys would go green but door not open multiple times. Rooms were clean but found items from last occupants in 2 of the 3 rooms we booked. Hoping breakfast will be ok but after a long night of no sleep and hot spotting off my phone for work not feeling optimistic. With no wifi many families left so did get quieter until all the nye people returned after midnight. Not sure if this is an ongoing issue but definitely not the normal quality i get at other comfort inn hotels.

The rooms were very nice and spacious. The air conditioning was not working in our room . Apparently they sent so r we one to check it and said it was working but it wasn’t . The gentleman behind the counter gave us another room and it did work in that room . Coffee available all day was a nice touch .

The person at the front desk at check in and check out was very good and helpful through our entire stay. This is our fourth or fifth stay and we are very pleased with everything and do plan on staying there on our next time.

My go to stay for short trips. Rooms are large, very clean, and well maintained. Staff is always great.

Check in took forever! Staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Was a bad experience from the moment we walked in. The night receptionist was frustrated the moment we told her we were paying with a different card than the one used to hold the room. She told us to watch our accounts seeing how a previous guest had just been charged twice. She made it seem like it was all set come to find out it wasn’t. The room keys we got did not work so after the walk through the halls to our room we had to lug everything back down to get the keys to activate. We then ran into noise issues around 11/11:30 and called to ask if they can be told to stop running through the halls and the answer was “the parents are coming up shortly” so no consideration for us was given. Following our stay we checked out and turns out they charged the first card the full price AND the second card ! So we have 1,000 dollars into a 2 night stay. When we complained about this we were told”there was nothing we could do till it is fully processed and then they can issue a credit back but that would take 7-10days”. After explaining we were not in a position to have 1,000 into a hotel stay the receptionist got frustrated and told us to just call when it fully processes and talk to the manager. Nothing was done on their end to stop one of the transactions they were just taking both payments . We felt as though we were just putting money in their pockets and less like guests more like piggy banks . We will never be returning. Much more to say.

I booked this the same day as we checked in. I asked for a room on the top floor, which they gave me, but it was right next to the water heater room which was very noisy. I asked to be moved to another room, and the manager apologized and moved me to the second floor which was much quieter once the dog stopped barking down the hall. This hotel is very clean and the there was a lot to choose from for breakfast. The only thing I would suggest is get rid of the turkey sausage and serve real sausage.

The front desk would not provide a statement when I checked out, indicating Expedia would provide one. I haven't received a statement, which is somewhat unusual.

I have to say- I thought these reviews were paid because they were so amazing! I wasn’t expecting tooo much because of that. Our stay however was incredible. The place is extremely clean. I have a 6 month old baby who crawls and i let her crawl around the room. The place is definitely extremely clean. The beds we’re comfortable and check in was a breeze. The front desk woman was very kind and quick. We even extended our stay. The pool was great. When we stayed there were about 20 little boys from a baseball team who were in the pool and we still had room to be there as well. It was a 2 min drive to the lake George front and plenty of food options nearby. Breakfast was not bad- they had waffles, eggs, bagels, toast & cereal, coffee, tea and juice. Regular things. I would absolutely stay here again if we visit. The reviews arent paid for! The place IS JUST THAT CLEAN.

We had to wait for 15 mins to check in although there wasn’t anyone else waiting.

Hotel is always clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and the breakfast is just enough to get you out the door for the morning. And the breakfast area is a nice are to sit with a fireplace. Stop over on our way to New Hampshire and is by the walking path down to Lake George by the Fort. Just the right distance to walk up into town and back. If late, you can walk up the main street.

The rooms are nice and the people are friendly and it's in a great location. It's not really walkable, but if you plan on walking 20 minutes you could definitely get to town. They have a nice breakfast too and a pool both indoor and outdoor.

This location is very convenient. Walking distance to the center of Lake George.

Not too far from the beach. We were able to take the trail and it was super quick. Hotel is in good shape. I’d stay here again.

Easy to locate and just minutes from Fort William Henry and town.

The pool and spa area was very clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was big. We got the king suite. The breakfast was wonderful, hot meal plus other options.

The hotel was nice and the staff was great. The only issue we had was that our room was right over the breakfast area and it the food smell was so strong (like bacon) starting at 7am that it actually woke me up both mornings! There should just be a warning for whomever stays in those rooms in case they are light sleepers or sensitive to smells. :) Also, it would be great for breakfast to go until 10am vs 9:30am because everyone was rushing to get down there before it closed!
