There is a musty smell in the rooms. The property needs a refresher. Bathrooms are older than expected. Beds are decent, but doubles. No elevators either. Breakfast is really plane, English muffins, two types of cereal, packages of oatmeal, a few muffins. They do offer coffee and tea at all time. For the price, I wouldn’t stay there again.

I love that I can bring my dog & at a very reasonable fee of an extra 25 dollars. They always give us a ground floor room which makes taking the dog out at night or early very convenient. Doggie bags are provided in case you forget. It’s a basic motel but very clean. Been staying here for years now. Staff is always pleasant & accommodating.

Beautiful place. Simple, very clean and affordable. Staff was awesome. Pet friendly. Great Coffee! Tea and hot chocolate too. All available 24hrs. Breakfast was nice, toast, bagels, oats, etc.

This place was adequate. The room was clean, but smelled like wet dog/pet, and my son had allergies all night (I don't know that its a pet allergy as he has been stuff in places that are pet free). Outside there were people smoking and also cigarette buts by the picnic table when nobody was there. The smoking was in the entrance and could not be avoided. The downstairs smelled strongly of pets who were not allowed upstairs where we were and I did not see any there. The breakfast was low quality though i did find a reasonable English muffin and oatmeal packet. The first day there was bagels but no cream cheese. The muffins were very sweet and not very good. So it was adequate, but I wouldn't get excited about it. The room was clean and partially renovated- but the door to the bathroom was old and squeaked if you attempted to close it. The shower was good. So adequate- good in some ways, and lacking in others. Staff was pleasant.

Exceptionally clean. I always clean the hotel rooms myself when I arrive as 9/10 times the cleaning staff just did the quick sweep/wipe of top surfaces but everything else is gross. Not this place! The wipes all came back clean. Even the top shelf that you had to stretch to reach was recently dusted. Interior was in great condition, no issues, air conditioner was brand new.

Pleasant stay. Really nice front staff. Super close to grocery store right across the street. Easy and free parking. Decent clean room. Nice cabin-like furniture. Room was well-lit and included a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Decent breakfast, had coffee, OJ, tea, pastries, cereal, fruit. Shower’s pressure was good. Overall it was a good stay!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, but there was a smell as you walked into the hotel, and the room was very humid. Breakfast is really basic - 2 kids of cereal, English muffins or instant oats. They only changed the towels once every 3 days, which would have been ok, but they never dried so we had to ask for a change of towels (which was no problem). I brought a cereal box with me and by the time we left, the cardboard was all softened. The mattresses were really soft (too soft for my liking), and the ac and bathroom fan were REALLY loud. The staff were so nice, I’d still consider booking there, but with a bigger budget, I’d go somewhere else.

It has a rustic feel, but with modern amenities. Clean as a whistle. Good included breakfast. Close to Gore Mt. Ski Area and Lake George. Spacious room, with two Queen beds, tv, microwave, and mini fridge.

Rooms are minimalist, but clean, and appropriately priced. Staff was welcoming and polite. If you are planning to stay in your room while visiting the Lake George/Glens Falls area then this may not be the hotel for you, but if you want a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced place to keep your “stuff” safe, and lay your head at night, by all means check them out.

Staff was very friendly amd attentive . Carpet in room was filthy we put our shoes back on. Bed was sinking in middle with hard almost like coils on side. There were multiple holes in the curtains . Location was great

I stay at this Super 8 every time I visit the Lake George area. The staff is amazing and they keep the place immaculate. The rooms are cozy and the decor is Adirondack rustic. Very nice! Don't expect a great breakfast, but the hotel is half the price of neighboring hotels so take your savings and support a local restaurant. I understand the hotel is going to be torn down soon and replaced by a Starbucks by the out-of-town owners which is truly a shame. On your way out sign the petition to let the owners know that their hotel is appreciated.

The staff were extremely warm and friendly. The gentleman at check had a welcoming smile and the process was easy-peasy. I requested a ground flo or room and received one due to our situation. The housekeeper, Danielle, was also very accommodating. My husband and I came back late from my nephew's wedding and asked for a late checkout and the blonde lady at the front desk said, 'No problem '. We felt like family.

I had initially booked two nights because I didn’t want to feel rushed to check out at 11. We ended up being able to get out early and I was refunded a night. Was not needed but very appreciated. Will be staying again! Convent location, and very affordable!

This is an easy place to stay if looking for affordable options within 30 mins of skiing Gore Mountain. It is right on 87. There is a food store within feet of the motel. There are a few decent dining options, but doesn't matter as you are 15 mins from Lake George, 25 mins from Glens Falls, South Glens Falls, and 30 mins from Saratoga Springs with plenty of options including micro breweries, etc.

Right off I-87 and convenient to Lake George Village & Warrensburg between a Price Chopper supermarket and a McDonald's. Friendly & helpful staff and reasonable price for this expensive area. One reason for the competitive price is that this is a very dated and worn motel well overdue for an upgrade. Of course, once that happens the price goes straight up.

The hotel was clean. Had a room with 2 double beds. Like us, there were many people there with dogs. For so many dogs, it was pretty quiet. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was pre-packaged muffins, pre-packaged fruit cups. Coffee, and orange juice. There is a McDonalds very close by. There is a Price Chopper grocery store very close by too. The hotel is about 10-15 mins from downtown Lake George.

Stop over to view Solar eclipse in Upper NY state - excellent choice - close to Lake George for shopping & restaurants. Close to NY thruway to head off further North.

They advertise as having free breakfast in the morning, but it was very disappointing. Only muffins and oatmeal packets, coffee and tea. When I asked where the breakfast was, the clerk said that was it. They need to update the amenities so people traveling know not to expect a real breakfast.

They told us that breakfast was 6-9. They showed us the room that breakfast was in. The next morning, there was one bowl of mini muffins in the hallway on a countertop. The breakfast room was not set up at all. I went to the front desk and they said, "Oh, breakfast is in the hall"

The W-Burg Super 8 is always a good stay with no surprises. It's well-kept and comfy. The breakfast bar has gotten pretty lean over the past year or so with only a limited selection of mostly starches. But we'll still come back!

The rooms are somewhat run down, but the worst part was that they had used some sort of horrible smelling air freshener or cleaning product in our room and now literally every item we have that was in the room still smells. As in my jacket smells from two feet away. The breakfast was just packaged muffins and coffee, which was disappointing.
