No hairdryer in room. A few dings in the room. Free breakfast not great, but adequate. Good coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location excellent for our purposes. Reasonable rate. Room very good sized. Furniture could be a little nicer, little more comfortable. Bead very comfortable. Pool and weight room nice. All in all, a good stay.

The property overall was nice. The room was clean, staff were friendly, walkable, easy access to restaurants and things to do. The downsides were the elevators were down several times during our stay. The fire alarm went off at 6:30am one morning with no explanation from staff except that the elevators were down, don\'t freak out, etc. There was also no hot water for our stay. We weren\'t told about there being an "issue with the boiler" until we asked at checkout. My husband and I genuinely thought that we couldn\'t figure out how to work the shower, so we were a bit surprised we weren\'t notified of this issue during our stay. Had we been there more than 2 nights, this would have been a bigger issue.

I love that they had a pool and a place to grill. I love the staff's were helpful and nice making sure I'll every need was meet. They talk kindly to uou and even made uou laugh. If there was anything needed they got on it right away. I love being able to go see a movie wich the children and I did. We also was able to eat out or order food that was delivered. I love I didn't have to worry about breakfast in the morning they get your day started off worry free by serving breakfast every morning with options. I love we didn't have to worry about parking they also provided that so there was no worries. The place was very clean always. I will definitely come again to stay with the children they even enjoy staying there.

I didn’t like that the elevator wasn’t working and then I needed to go outside and into parking garage to go to my room. I also need to then walk upstairs as well. This is a huge inconvenience and the property should inform the guest before arrival. Also, when I went into the room, the TV remote wasn’t working, so I needed to wait over two hours for someone to come and fix it. I contacted the hotel through their website and still have yet to hear back from them.

Check-in delayed. Asked for handicap room and extra pillows did not get. First night fire alarms going off for @3 hours then finally after getting dressed, etc, false alarm. Then the elevators were down, told they were working on them. 5 hours later still not working. My mom has a walker, we cannot walk up 7 flights of stairs. 6 hours later had to get a ride to a different hotel. Do not recommend this hotel at all

We were very disappointed to find out AFTER our check in that the pool was unavailable and under construction as there was absolutely NO indication of this on their emails to us prior to check in, their website, or signage around the property. We chose this location due to its proximity to friends and family we were visiting and having easy access to a pool our kids could enjoy when we weren't with our relatives. VERY disappointed that the staff did not inform us of this prior to check-in and when we asked if there could be anything done about it (as in receiving a discount or checking out a day early), they said they could not since we had already checked in for our stay. Even after we noted all the signage in the hotel said the pool was currently open, staff did nothing to correct it. Very disappointed in this experience.

First room given had an odor. Second room the shower wasn’t clean and the drain was clogged. Something leaked from the ceiling onto the couch and my jackets. Gave them all a foul odor. The front desk was apologetic and responsive. But all the trouble put somewhat of a gray cloud on the trip.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights. We got in late Friday night around 10. When we entered the room the garbage had not been taken out. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to empty it. We left went to grab something to, came back ready to take a shower and go to bed because we had a long day ahead of us. We go into the bathroom and found a dirty towel behind the door and rag on the sink. We called down to the front desk and the first thing the lady said was what time did you get here? Excuse me what does that have to do with the room not being clean? Regardless of the time I checked in I should not have been put in a room that wasn't cleaned. The next thing she said was I'm here by myself so I can't come and look at it. What does that even mean? She asked us to take a picture and she would find another room for us. It's now after 12 and here we are moving to another room.

The bathrooms were disgusting, literally hotel vibes came in cleaned, back of toilet brownish orange stains did not sit on toilet whole stay, bathtub disgusting. Even after housekeeping cleaned it again hair on toilet. They need to update their rooms asap. White plains is way better much cleaner.

Staff was ok. The room smelled terrible so we went out and purchased spray to make it bearable. The room was a suite and we needed a blanket for the pullout but front desk said there was none available. Cleaning could have been better. Found strands of someone’s hair throughout the bed sheets. Also 4 titles near the bathtub fell off the wall. I’d recommend if you are only planning to sleep, shower, and leave but not a long term stay.

This hotel is conveniently located at New Roc however, they don't tell you anywhere that you are going to be charged $20 for parking overnight. They were also doing construction on the garage so you had to go up to the 2nd floor to park or risk being towed. Check in was smooth. My room was on the 8th floor and a fairly long walk from the elevator so if you have trouble walking as for a room close to the elevator. There was definitely a noise issue from the street (8 floors up!) and I could hear music playing, cars whizzing by and back up beeps from the garbage truck. The heat and air is a conundrum. You'll need to call to get help with that for sure as it seems to go on, then go off after a while and not come back on. The room lighting had a bit of a hospital feel although the rooms themselves are big. The refrigerator had dents in the door which just gives a feeling of it being not well kept. The breakfast is okay. Scrambled eggs and then packaged breakfast sandwiches but there was fresh fruit and yogurt and oatmeal available.

We had a pleasant 3-night stay. We loved the spaciousness of the room, the fact that we had our own mini-kitchen, and that the bathroom sink and toilet/shower were separate. The hotel's breakfast area on the 10th floor was very spacious with beautiful views of Long Island Sound, and there was a nice variety of items offered for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We witnessed them handle an unruly guest very early the the morning with regard for the other guests' safety and with professionalism. The area around the hotel offered many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance–including both national chains and local options. The urban location means there was a considerable amount of exterior traffic and construction noise, but that comes with the territory. The HVAC system was not the best at regulating the temperature in the room, and there wasn't an option for running the fan continuously which might have helped with the exterior noise. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend and return.

I like the hotel location and the room size. I did not like the design of the room. There is no decoration, no color, and only bare and cheap furniture so it could be replaced easily when damaged by guests and their children. There isn't even counter space for our toiletry in the bathroom. The breakfast is as cold as the room. This is my first time in Marriott Residence, very disappointing.

Katrina provided excellent customer service, and she was extremely helpful in ensuring our reservation was taken care of! We definitely will be coming back to the hotel based on this experience!

I always stay at the residence inn marriott in New Rochelle for many reasons, the rooms are set up like an apartment, with kitchens and living spaces. The hotel rooms are usually clean, but this time the bathroom floor was not. Even with that, I would stay again. The staff at the front desk is always cheerful and accommodating.

We were very disappointed to find out AFTER our check in that the pool was unavailable and under construction as there was absolutely NO indication of this on their emails to us prior to check in, their website, or signage around the property. We chose this location due to its proximity to friends and family we were visiting and having easy access to a pool our kids could enjoy when we weren't with our relatives. VERY disappointed that the staff did not inform us of this prior to check-in and when we asked if there could be anything done about it (as in receiving a discount or checking out a day early), they said they could not since we had already checked in for our stay. Even after we noted all the signage in the hotel said the pool was currently open, staff did nothing to correct it. Very disappointed in this experience.

At check in room assigned was for special needs. The room had no closet, no clothes hanging facilities and the bathroom had no countertops, just a pedestal sink. Requested another room and clerk stated hotel was full and no other room available. Asked to speak to the manager and was told none available. After saying we were going elsewhere an alternative room was offered. Terrible experience.

No hairdryer in room. A few dings in the room. Free breakfast not great, but adequate. Good coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location excellent for our purposes. Reasonable rate. Room very good sized. Furniture could be a little nicer, little more comfortable. Bead very comfortable. Pool and weight room nice. All in all, a good stay.

We had a pleasant 3-night stay. We loved the spaciousness of the room, the fact that we had our own mini-kitchen, and that the bathroom sink and toilet/shower were separate. The hotel's breakfast area on the 10th floor was very spacious with beautiful views of Long Island Sound, and there was a nice variety of items offered for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We witnessed them handle an unruly guest very early the the morning with regard for the other guests' safety and with professionalism. The area around the hotel offered many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance–including both national chains and local options. The urban location means there was a considerable amount of exterior traffic and construction noise, but that comes with the territory. The HVAC system was not the best at regulating the temperature in the room, and there wasn't an option for running the fan continuously which might have helped with the exterior noise. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend and return.

The location was perfect. The staff at the front desk especially Cathrine (sp) were amazing and helpful, 5 stars 🌟 to them. The room and general area were clean and well kept. Although if I had to complain about anything, I would say the carpet and sofa the sitting room needs to be changed to meet the general standard of the hotel. Also, the breakfast was a bit repetitive and boring. A bit of variation would have been well appreciated.

A clean bed and room, but at the time I booked, waaay overpriced. In town for a funeral. The room was clean and, at least on the 10th floor, sufficiently quiet. There is a breakfast buffet, but it consists of flavorless scrambled eggs, flavorless bacon, some bread, and coffee. Ok the mornings I was there, the juice machine was out of order and there were no waffles offered. If you don’t expect much other than basic accommodations, you won’t be disappointed.

For the amount of money it cost, we were very disappointed. The staff was friendly. The hotel itself needs an update. The continental breakfast was surprisingly adequate. However, seeing people putting together mountains of food to go was very cheesy and left a bad taste for ambiance. If visiting new Rochelle again, I would.not stay here.
