Excellent location and excellent staff!Love the funky décor! Unfortunately, our stay was affected by a few cleanliness issues. The floors were extremely sticky, and it seemed they had been mopped with dirty water. We ended up using wet towels to clean them ourselves. There was also a very strong detergent smell throughout the room that irritated our throats. In addition, the shower curtain had visible mold. We took photos to document these issues.

The location was close to subway, Chelsea market and the meatpacking district. The rooms were small but it served it purpose as we didn't stay in there long beside showers and sleeping. The person checking us in was very helpful in explaining the courtyard, amenities and guided us on how the buses and subway works.

This is a perfect location. The room was clean and exactly like the pictures. The outdoor space is great for in between enjoying the city.

It was nice having two beds though the pillows were very full and firm which didn’t feel great on my neck. There are no cups from which to get water in the room but on the first floor they have a little kitchenette with mugs, glasses, dishes etc. They have coffee, tea, water and cocoa in that area but no continental breakfast. The hotel has no elevator so I wouldn’t recommend asking for an upper level room if you have heavy luggage to carry. There is a small courtyard beyond the kitchette area which has not been weeded or otherwise kept up but it could be a really cute place to sit and enjoy coffee. The hotel is in a great location, just steps from the nearest metro stop and good restaurants. The price was reasonable, especially for NYC.
