Selected the property in part because it advertised breakfast included. When I checked in, I asked what time breakfast would be in the morning. I was told that it would be between 6-9 am. When I went to reception in the morning, I was told that there was only coffee and tea. When I mentioned that I'd checked on breakfast when checking in, I was informed that breakfast was only included on weekends. The next day, I went for a cup of coffee. There was one air pot marked for coffee, and it was empty. I mentioned that there was no water tumbler in my room, and I was informed that I could take one of the paper cups located by the coffee air pot. The TV in my room wasn't working. The security was very questionable. The entry door to the wing where my room was located displayed a sign indicating that the door was locked 24 hours per day and that guests should use their key card to enter. There was no card reader by the door, and the door was never locked during my three day stay...day or night. I opted to take my most valuable property with me whenever I left the room...I didn't feel that the room was secure. The one positive was that the WiFi worked well throughout my stay.

This whole place needs to be renovated. The lobby hallway floor is stripped off leaving just the concrete, walls have holes cut out, the carpet is dirty, pand a side entry room is unfinished. Don’t seem like they are currently doing any construction and have been left like this. Spent 2 nights and the 1st night had no hot water. Would not recommend to stay unless they have fixed these issues.

This is an older hotel, two stories with no elevator...an important consideration that should be disclosed to potential guests. The rooms lack fire sprinklers. The furniture is worn, lampshades were cracked in my room, and the entire feel is one of an old, dated building that needs attention and upgrades. When I checked in, I noticed that there was only one bath towel and one washcloth in my room...no bathmat or hand towels. When I tried to call the front desk, I found that the desk phone in my room had been disconnected. There might have been a phone cord behind the desk on which the phone sat, but it wasn't evident. I called the hotel to report the phone and ask for towels, and I was told this would be taken care of...but it never was. There is no excuse for this. My suggestion would be to stay here only if you don't want to sleep in your car.

There was only oat meal for the light breakfast. The washer was out of order and the dryer didn’t dry the clothes. Friendly staff at the front desk. The other employees don’t speak English and will talk into your phone to have it translated.

Door key didnt work and we had to walk back to the front desk several times to get in the room. Denied toilet paper after asking the first time. Was eventually provided toilet paper after asking again. Multiple cops interviewing people who were staying at the hotel (I didnt even want to know why). Vending machines were taped off. The list continues... just be careful.

False fire alarms at 1045pm and 1245pm with 1-1 1/2 hour fire department response before alarms could be reset. Spent most of the night in the Parking Lot and/or our cars. Breakfast” non existent on Saturday and inadequate supply on Sunday. Both vending machines were totally empty. I have photos, if I can find a way to post them.

Check-in was disturbing in that: 1) clerk had trouble finding my reservation; my impression was that he didn’t know how to use the computer system; 2) he told me breakfast would be available from 6-9 a.m., and told me where it would be served; 3) he walked me to nearby corridor, then told me my room was “down there”, pointing toward long corridor crammed with old, discarded furniture and floor devoid of flooring, but full of potholes——in the corridor! To top it off, the room furniture was dirty——I didn’t feel I could touch anything. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Oh yes, in the morning there was NO breakfast available and, when I asked the desk clerk why not, he told me they had “run out of supplies”. This motel is under renovation, and should not be open to the public. It is unclean and unsafe. Fortunately, our reservation was for one night only.

It was horrible! There were actual roaches in the room! The smell of marijuana, sex, and spray were in my room, on my clothing, and throughout the hotel. I requested a refund but was told I couldn’t get one. 4 hours from my destination and all I wanted to do was sleep but couldn’t due to being afraid of getting crawled on by the roaches. Room 102 had wires poking out from behind the bed lying on the box spring for support. The bathroom was disgusting with urine in the shower. The room smelled horrendous! That was Friday. Saturday we rented out 248 which was pretty much the same except the wires and smell. Roaches 6 of them in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom, there were stains on the mirror in the bathroom, the toilet has not been scrubbed clean in a long time. The bald headed light skinned middle aged man gave me 1 room and it was filthy and the linens were all over the place, I came back down to the desk he gave me another room which the key did not work, then he switched the key I went back upstairs and that key did not work, I went back down and he took me upstairs with 3 rooms which he would check to see if they were cleaned and ready. We settled on my room and yes it did not smell like sex and blood however upon really coming into the room behind the bed was drugs, dirty tissues and children’s toys, and the toilet had poop stains all under the toilet seat, the shower rod was broken, and the head was not mantles correctly which made taking a shower horrible.

This property is gross. It was absolutely filthy. The main hall literally had holes in the floor covered by a carpet that was covered in all kinds of major stains that looked like vomit stains to me. You could feel the dips in the floor as you walk. The rooms stunk. I changed rooms 3 times upon check in because of the filth. On day 3 of my stay, we had ants in the bathroom that crawled all over our toothbrushes and a roach in the corner near the tub. I asked for a refund and left, and they gave me one night stay back. They advertise a continental breakfast, but there was only hot water for tea, no coffee, and a couple containers of yogurt with a sign that said "only take one!" The front desk guy was very nice and helpful and that really was the only good thing about the place. I will NEVER stay at a Super 8 ever again. Don't go here.

Room was clean i did see a roach thethe only had oatmeal packs for breakfast. lights didn't work bathtub didn't work had to shower instead only one outlet worked so i had to be in the dark when I used my cpap machine the TV didn't work the 1st night.

I grabbed this room since it is close to USMA so I could visit my cadet. Facility is in dire need of a facelift. Many outlets with no covers, door jams looking like they have been broken out at least once (yikes), my room floor looked like it needed to be mopped, bathroom floor also needed some attention, bathroom sink broken away from wall. The beds were clean and comfortable though and that’s what I really needed.

Here is a short list: missing lightbulbs in 2 of the 3 lights in the room, bed was TERRIBLE. Didn't feel like there was a mattress over the springs, all I felt were the springs. Rug needed to be vacuumed. The phone and TV controller didn't look like they had ever been cleaned. The fan in bathroom didn't work and was very loud. The bathtub took hours to drain after my shower. I had to go out and buy antibacterial wipes to clean before I felt comfortable enough to use the facilities. I only decided to stay there because they were affiliated with Wyndham

Staff was friendly. Room smelled like smoke. Walls had lots of spots where holes were filled with drywall mud but was not painted over. Lamp missing a lampshade. Bathroom outlet did not work. Carpet felt oily, like I should wear my shoes the whole time. King sized mattress sagged badly in the middle - so much so that I felt like I wasn’t able to lay flat. Sink & toilet were really LOW. Toilet was the round style, not elongated. Felt like a bathroom in a kindergarten classroom. I wanted to cancel the remainder of days after the first night and get a different hotel. However, I was in town for a dear friend’s funeral and was too exhausted to go through the trouble at the end of each day.

Very old hotel.outlets do not work. Mattress was broken down., very lumpy. Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was horrible- just cheap pre packaged stuff.Door would not lock. No hot water in the morning. Floors were wet. The freezer and refrigerator were nice

Light bulbs missing, toilet tank would not fill in middle of night, sink in bathroom took 5 minutes to drain, tv didn’t work. The stated check-in for this place is 3pm. We arrived to their front desk at 2:35pm. There were two people in an adjacent office talking to each other and no one at the check-in counter. After 8 or 9 minutes we realized something was wrong so I got the attention of the two people in the office and asked if there was someone who could check us in. One of the persons came out right away and asked for the name on our reservation, and after giving it to him, he said check-in was not until 3pm. At this point it was 2:45pm. I acknowledged we were early but asked if 15 minutes was really a problem, to which he responded if we paid $21.75 he would check us in early. After we were checked-in, we realized they gave us only one room key card and the WI-FI password was not written where it's supposed to be on the back of the key card sheath. I wonder what would happen if we checked out 10 minutes late. We don't want to find out. The next time we need a room in Newburgh, we'll find a different place to make a room reservation.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. No matter the idsue they attended it the best they could. Room was clean. The downside is that we never somebody doing the housekeeping during the whole week we've stayed, they didnt had enough towels and when we arrive to the room we had to connect every appliance there. As a plus they have microwave, minifridge and it worked pretty well. Breakfast was only microwavable oatmeal and cereal bars and coffee. You get what you pay for.

My elderly parents were staying at the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and that all their needs were met. They helped them get taxis and find restaurants in the surrounding areas. The staff are the best!!!

Hotel reception arranged for cab that never came to pick me. My destination was not far away and would take only 8mins drive. But Cab said would come in 15mins then changed its mind to 25mins but after 45mins waiting, never came. Hence, I missed my connecting bus to NYC and had to delay my connecting schedules. Black gentleman taking over the front desk learnt of my plight and offered to give me a lift but it was too late. Kudus to him.

It was cheaper than others. So my wife booked it online . Heard later from locals a little sketchy safety wise. My room was fine. Breakfast was granola bars and coffee. Hardly a brea fast. Would I stay again ? I would check into others.

The Super 8 in Newburgh was a good value. We got the studio suite, and it had a nice sitting area. We were able to stream on the tv. Staff was responsive and courteous - except we had to ask for towels 3 times before getting them. Great location. Must report that Wifi in room was not good. No connection. All in all, we were satisfied though. Nice location near restaurants and Route 84.

Stayed there for two nights. I definitely agree with the other reviews about the staff and the front desk staff being very friendly and helpful. The two gentlemen and lady (the one who check my kids and I in and checked us out) were very friendly and helpful. Always said hello walking into the motel and asking how my kids and I were doing. I wish I got their names because I want the manger to know they did a wonderful job. The only thing I see that needs a lot of improvement is the rooms. The motel room my kids and I stayed in needs a lot of cosmetic work and replace the mattress on the beds. We basically only slept there since we were busy during the morning into the evening. The motel is in a great area. Lots of restaurants, there is a Target, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, Adams (grocery store), and other shops near by. The highway is also very close and the Stewart airport about ten mins away. The price was great!

Don’t stay here, it’s just not safe. The staff at the Denys right down the hill validated our suspicions and told us how bad it really was. Very very very sketchy place! The parking lot was full of people who didn’t seem to be up to any good.

Breakfast was basically oatmeal and cereal bars and coffee. Tv didn’t work so the front desk receptionist tried a tv from a diff room that still didn’t work so we had to move across the hall. Other staff weren’t friendly. When checking out the guy was eating watching YouTube and on a call and spoke with his mouth full. Good location

Management seemed unprepared for our stay. We received one bath towel and no hand towel in the room for the guests, we were not told about check out time or breakfast hours, and the room number was written so poorly on the card that we went to four rooms before finding the correct number. The hallways were filled with broken furniture, and breakfast was a joke…There were 2 cold orange juice cups and coffee.
