I have never seen a building with so many stairs and no elevators or escalators you got to climb up to the third floor and walk down small sets of stairs to get to your room and a fire it would be very unsafe if you have any kind of handicap definitely avoid this property I must say the gentleman who checked me out on Saturday was helpful and very kind

The hall carpet was soaked with water open ceiling tiles leaking water. Rented 2 rooms (112 & 114)both had visible water damage above the bed. One room headboard was warped from water. One room no HOT water. The remote control was broken with blue painters tape on it. This hotel is a wet DUMP.

First annoyance: no ice machine - which in all fairness was strategically omitted from the description. The restaurant and bar were shuttered, and there was no breakfast (another strategic omission). The back door would not operate; thankfully, all you had to do was yank on it really hard to get in. The keys stopped working after several hours. The room had ants. On the positive side, the front desk clerk was a nice guy; he helped by getting the baggage cart for me. The a/c worked great; so did the fridge and microwave. The bed was serviceable. The TV was too. If I hadn't already lugged half a carload of stuff into the room by the time I realized what I was in for, I would've left. The old adage is so true: you get what you pay for. Thank you, Ramada, for forcing me to stop my stupid deal hunting, bite the bullet and find an Airbnb.

This entire hotel smells deeply of smoke. The "gym" consists of two machines. The restaurant/bar/lounge is never open. The pool is out of service. Nearly every piece of furniture and fixture is damaged. There is a cockroach infestation. There are cigarette burns and assorted unidentifiable stains all over the place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

First thought is why do Ramada and Wyndham even associate their names with this location? We were rushed for time and booked based on reputation and pictures. Should have taken the time to read the reviews. The pictures are obviously very old. The place doesn't look like that anymore. Very misleading. And there was no nightclub I noticed. All amenities I saw were shut down, including the exercise room, restaurant, and pool. Lobby is very uninviting with security glass between the employee and customer. The entire building is in disrepair and grounds are not maintained. The first room we were given: most of the lights didn't work, toilet kept running - could not flush, it smelled, bathroom dirty, no instructions on how to reach front desk, but phone didn't work anyway. That's as far as we got before walking back to the lobby to request another room. Requested 2nd.floor. No elevator, but only one flight so climbed the stairs. Toilet also ran all night, rug dirty, smelled but not as bad as the first room, shower dirty, a resident spider with large web and dead bugs. Did not look further. Afraid of what we'd find. The fact this was advertised as being a room normally costing over $200 is ridiculous. We paid a discounted rate of $160 which is still ridiculous. Honestly I wouldn't stay for free.

Pool was closed, and courtyard area has not been mowed for a very long time. Glass door to pool taped up. Ceiling tiles in hallway broken. Chair in room so dirty we put a towel over it to sit down. Low nightly rate, but you get what you pay for. at least the AC worked.

This place was awful. Do not believe what they say they have regarding amenities. There is no restaurant, it has been closed for years. There is no breakfast or coffee in the morning. The pool is closed. The "fitness center" is a tiny room with a stationary bike that does not adjust at all, an elliptical which screeches with every rotation, a treadmill I didn't bother trying, and a few dumbbells scattered on the floor. There was a moth in our room as soon as we entered and a tobacco tin under the bed. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

There was blood on the threshold above the bathroom. The room was dusty enough to make my husband who doesn’t have allergies struggle to breathe and snore which he never does. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom and the linen on the bed. Dirty glue rat traps. I went in cleaning as to not complain. There was an odor. The toilet barely flushed. There was dried bodily fluid on the chair. Paint stains on the carpet among other stuff. barely any plugs to charge phones. I will never return.

It was not suitable for renting I paid $311 with extra insurance for 2 nights and it wasn’t worth $50 a night. I want a refund or I won’t even consider going back after the renovations.

I didn’t like anything, it was roach infested, dirty, toilet had blood on it in my first room, the top sheet the was on the blanket had a huge pee stain on it. The halls mold , ceilings to and peeling wall paper. The room and the halls smelled really bad . The pool was not available to use or the gym was nos locked, there was lots of ceiling panels missing. We couldn’t take a shower because the water was freezing cold.

Good thing we only needed to stay one night. They place is very run down. Wires hanging all over the outside. Plastic totes collecting water in the hall way from what I assume is a roof leak. No hot water in the shower. Luke warm water in the sink. Handle was busted off the close cabinet, the fabric on the chairs looked like it has not been cleaned I. 40 yrs. NASTY is a nice way to put it.

Pretty average for a tired older property. The reception desk was like Fort Knox, not a pleasant welcome. The room was clean but very tired, with broken furniture, a rusty tub, and a squeaky, worn-out mattress. Still okay for a quick one-night stop.

The room was in rough shape with damaged walls and scuffed furniture. The front desk staff were not friendly and spoke very little English. I felt unsafe. The security lock on my door was broken and the cleaning staff opened my door while I was in my room about 20 minutes after I checked in to the hotel. Also, on my second night, I arrived from dinner to find five police cars at the hotel with two police casing the first floor hallways in pursuit of a suspect. It was not a very relaxing nor pleasant experience. Also there are 3-4 steps after every couple of rooms, and this makes it difficult to roll your luggage to and from your room.

We booked a 2 night stay and reception was not friendly. Friday night there was screaming in hall all night long. Our phone in our room was ringing all hours of the night both nights. We asked for towels 5 times and it took hours to get them. Very frusterating. Would not recommend. We should be receiving a refund for everything we had to go through.

Don't use this property. I'm very mad about the booking and want a refund from hotels.com. I arrived at the hotel later in the evening and tired. Found the front desk was behind bulletproof glass. The cafe/restaurant was closed and secured behind a security fence like you see at the mall. The room numbers were written in sharpie on blue painters tape. Everything was stained and battered. The paint on my room door was mostly scraped off. The security latch on my room door was broken off. The fire alarm in the room was chirping. When I opened my door to return to the front desk for another room, there were two Newburgh PD officers next door responding to a "disturbance." While I was waiting at the front desk for a new room, the officers came back down to the lobby. I asked them if this was a safe location and they said "do you want to know the truth? We wouldn't stay here." While talking to the PD, another couple returned to the front desk and turned in their key. Said they couldn't stay there since the quality was so poor. The woman behind the bulletproof glass would not give them a refund. The place was unclean, and I felt unsafe. I just left the property, and had to drive 30 miles to find alternate accommodation.

When you first arrive you will notice the front desk behind a glass barrier. Felt unsafe, rooms were dirty and other guests complained of bed bugs and roaches. When I arrived at my room, it was not cleaned and they refused to refund me so I could find another place to stay. Please avoid this hotel.

The staff that greeted us was very nice. However, our two rooms were on the second floor, and the elevator didn't work. After twisting our way up the staircase, my room was very stifling from cigarette smoke, and the refrigerator was buzzing. I unplugged it but couldn't take the cigarette smoke smell. I was kindly moved to the first floor in a suite, which was much better. We arrived after 1 AM and early that morning across the hall from my son's room, someone was arrested. There was no breakfast. The facilities are not up to standard. I looked for other accommodations in the area but there were no vacancies.

Flight got cancelled at 11:30 at nearby airport, just needed place to crash for a few hours. Knew it wouldnt be the best but… Rooms 310/305: -Staff assigned me room which had an open door on approach and shoes inside. -Went back and got key to another room a few doors down. This time the door was closed on approach. Room smelt like smoke which was pretty bad. I was so tired at this point I just accepted it and tried to sleep. Bed was fine but I just laid on top of the covers. -Woke up couple hours later to someone talking in hallway and then constant beeping of a smoke alarm. -Stayed up at this point and just tried to band some emails out before heading back to airport. -Went to take shower, and the tub was stained all over, just very dirty looking, just overall creeped out at this point. -Ten minutes later hear voices coming from hallway again and manager opens door with another man. They see me and immediately shut it. Just another glowing red flag. -No breakfast, morning manager fumbled his words as I left shortly after the encounter to apologize. (8:30 am)

Front man wasn’t there for check in and we were waiting for 20 Min. Then we got the keys, but the room was t ready, so we had to wait another 15 min for them to clean. Then when we got back to hotel at night, no front man, and the secured door to the rooms were opened by a shoe. Anyone came just go in & out. We did not feel safe and double locked our room. Coarse bath towels, hard to open /close the bathroom doors. Hair in the shower from prior visitor. Don’t go this hotel

Photos of this property on Expedia show a brightly lit lobby with a reception desk open to all as you walk in, however, your first disappointment will be the glass enclosure that shuts off the reception desk. I presume the glass is bullet-proof. Your disappointment will grow as you look about the lobby at the security guards and the number of people loitering there. In fact, there are security guards at the end of each hallway, day and night, and with good reason. As we were turning in for the night we heard a shouting match between st least three ir four people. About 3:30an we were awakened by noises in the hallway and someone shouting “Shut it down.” It is impossible to hear the clerks behind the glass partition. The entire property was in disrepair. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Felt very unsafe. Homeless people in the parking lot. The hotel staff sit behind a glass wall with a small slot they pass the paper and key out to you from, zo obviously they dont feel safe. Definately would not recommend. We did not stay.

Pretty average for a tired older property. The reception desk was like Fort Knox, not a pleasant welcome. The room was clean but very tired, with broken furniture, a rusty tub, and a squeaky, worn-out mattress. Still okay for a quick one-night stop.

I did not like anything about the Ramada Inn. The drug addict in front, and inside of the building. There were people getting high on the stairs. The police was called and there was not hot water the entire time I was there.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The room and hotel overall were dirty and disgusting. There were multiple people drunk or high wandering the halls. My family felt unsafe and ended up going to a different hotel.

First annoyance: no ice machine - which in all fairness was strategically omitted from the description. The restaurant and bar were shuttered, and there was no breakfast (another strategic omission). The back door would not operate; thankfully, all you had to do was yank on it really hard to get in. The keys stopped working after several hours. The room had ants. On the positive side, the front desk clerk was a nice guy; he helped by getting the baggage cart for me. The a/c worked great; so did the fridge and microwave. The bed was serviceable. The TV was too. If I hadn't already lugged half a carload of stuff into the room by the time I realized what I was in for, I would've left. The old adage is so true: you get what you pay for. Thank you, Ramada, for forcing me to stop my stupid deal hunting, bite the bullet and find an Airbnb.

Nearly every piece of furniture and fixture is damaged. There is a cockroach infestation. There are cigarette burns and assorted unidentifiable stains all over the place. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We have stayed here for the past ten years enroute to home. They used to have breakfast included - no more. We felt safe before but were concerned about the need for security guards now. Our room had mold in the bath caulking and red stains in the tub. The towels were rough and thin. The beds were ok before but this one felt like we were sleeping on a board. Minimal pillows compared to before caused some unpleasant heartburn. All of this for over double the price per night from about five years ago.

First thought is why do Ramada and Wyndham even associate their names with this location? We were rushed for time and booked based on reputation and pictures. Should have taken the time to read the reviews. The pictures are obviously very old. The place doesn't look like that anymore. Very misleading. And there was no nightclub I noticed. All amenities I saw were shut down, including the exercise room, restaurant, and pool. Lobby is very uninviting with security glass between the employee and customer. The entire building is in disrepair and grounds are not maintained. The first room we were given: most of the lights didn't work, toilet kept running - could not flush, it smelled, bathroom dirty, no instructions on how to reach front desk, but phone didn't work anyway. That's as far as we got before walking back to the lobby to request another room. Requested 2nd.floor. No elevator, but only one flight so climbed the stairs. Toilet also ran all night, rug dirty, smelled but not as bad as the first room, shower dirty, a resident spider with large web and dead bugs. Did not look further. Afraid of what we'd find. The fact this was advertised as being a room normally costing over $200 is ridiculous. We paid a discounted rate of $160 which is still ridiculous. Honestly I wouldn't stay for free.

Hotel was dirty and falling apart. There was gum on the carpet by the bed in our room as well as bugs. It had an attached restaurant but it was set up mostly like a banquet hall with tons of seating by the stage and nothing else.

This place was awful. Do not believe what they say they have regarding amenities. There is no restaurant, it has been closed for years. There is no breakfast or coffee in the morning. The pool is closed. The "fitness center" is a tiny room with a stationary bike that does not adjust at all, an elliptical which screeches with every rotation, a treadmill I didn't bother trying, and a few dumbbells scattered on the floor. There was a moth in our room as soon as we entered and a tobacco tin under the bed. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Only thing that was good about the room was the AC. There was a really bad smell in my room. Maybe its rhe carpet. The place definitely needs updating. But staff was very friendly and nice.

When arrived to check in they had given away my king room and I was given a double bed. The front desk check in told my phone I didn't have a reservation. He was rude There was no gym or breakfast.

At one time long ago this may have been a nice hotel! However, currently every aspect of the place is under repair and seems at a very slow pace!!! They need to be upfront of status of hotel in their postings!!!

Was there for a 5 day conference and this was the best location other than the Super 8 next door for the price. Hotel was convenient to everything and almost walking distance to: stores, dinning, etc. I did have one little issue...the shower had only hot scowling water.
