Perfect location in Astoria..if you want a clean, up kept, tucked away hotel, this is the place. The breakfast is cooked fresh everyday. It's off the main drag. It's quiet and clean. Indoor swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Our spa room was clean and comfortable. We are going to return.

Very friendly and helpful. Loved the jacuzzi, sauna and liked the pool. Only down side was unexpected closures of the pool due to adjusting chemicals in early morning. Also loved the 5 pm supply of salmon and potatoes. Breakfast was much better than what most hotels provide as "continental breakfasts."

I loved the complimentary soup and cookies! I also loved being able to borrow out the games they had behind the counter. Breakfast was delicious- I loved the hot options like eggs and sausage. The breakfast staff was amazing and so sweet. The front desk woman was great- very nice and helpful—specifically the blonde who worked evenings with the tattoos, I loved her. The pool and hot tube were great. They were clean and not crowded. Overall, a great stay!

Loved this place so much, wish I stayed longer!! Check in was fun and had superb service. Amenities such as hot tub, pool, weight room, sauna and even a library are open 24/7!!! Can’t wait to go back! And they have delicious clam chowder in the lobby starting at 5pm.

Upon arrival staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with, check in was quick and effortless. The room was beautiful and pristine with a lovely view of the mouth of the Columbia river. The complimentary chowder was a pleasant surprise and delicious. The pool and hottub were incredible; both were a comfortablably appropriate temperature and purified with saline instead of chlorine. The breakfast choices offered a variety of options including dairy-free. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Issue with our bathroom toilet not flushing or refilling. Our bathroom smelled mouldy and I think it was the shower curtain. Everything was clean and neat upon arrival. Staff were friendly but when I advised of issues upon check out all I got was a one word “sorry”. Disappointed for how much we paid I expected more.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We started every day with a great breakfast at the hotel. The laundry facility was clean and well maintained. We did one load of laundry when we decided to extend our stay. We added two more nights to our stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

When we got to our room there was what appeared to be a bunch of wet sand in the sink. I cleaned it out and then noticed the sink was clogged. As the water would slowly drain more sand would come up.

The people were kind and informative. The street to get there is hidden and is in disrepair to point of being considered neglected. The rooms are not soundproofed so expect to hear ever sound no matter how slight and the smell of damp foul water was extreme even for a seaside location. The staff was the only good part about being there but its not enough to have me ever return. Also if you have mobility issues, STAY AWAY the ramps are a death trap and the bathrooms can only be used if a levitation fairy poofs you in there. No design or real considerations were made. Simply put, its just malicious compliance.

Front desk was amazing, room was beautiful and clean with the view of the bay. Loved the glass coffee mugs! The only down fall was the floor. There must have been water damage or something because there was a part that sunk down by the bed. We are sorry we missed the salmon chowder. Hopefully next time we can enjoy it! The breakfast was very good!

The room and bathroom were clean and everything worked well. The refrigerator could have been colder but it was fine. We took a hot tub and it was clean and hot. This is a fine hotel - it's just a little old and a few things need to be updated. The carpets are old and need to be replaced and the hot tub needs resurfacing. The location is very good. We would stay again.

We loved the location and the view was great! The room was fantastic and super clean. The jacuzzi tub was perfect! Unfortunately people above us were super distributive and woke us up around 4:30am stomping around it was not a fun way to wake up.

Lovely large room with sea view. Room and bathroom clean and beds comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The Wi-Fi was a bit sketchy until we rang reception, they said no one else had complained and we couldn’t change rooms! We didn’t want to change anyway but surprisingly the wifi worked afterwards.

We had a spacious deluxe room with 2 comfy queen beds, wet bar/sink with larger refrigerator, good wi-fi, and a good hot breakfast. Hotel is located in a quiet area away from the noisy sea lions. I recommend staying here.

Shoreline walkway was scenic and an easy hike.Nice water view from room, inviting main lobby with fireplace, attractive breakfast room with a variety of items, separate cozy library for business use, tasty chowder put out every evening, great service by all we had contact with, wireless phone charger in room. Comfortable bed, TV with premium channels, terry cloth robes.

Clean. Nice. I paid extra to stay here and asked for a river view. They put me on the river side but didn’t explain that it’s a boat junkyard, blocking the river view. I would have stayed somewhere else to celebrate my Anniversary had I known.

I was very impressed with the customer service at the Lloyd Hotel. My partner and I were taking a few days of vacation to celebrate some milestones, and were looking for somewhere clean, comfy, and relatively affordable, somewhere near both the Columbia River and the ocean. This was it. Room was very clean, bed was soft, and the bathtub was more than adequate. The included breakfast was above average for a hotel, and the complimentary salmon chowder and fresh baked cookies were a surprising but very welcome bonus. Book early to get a good price, but definitely stay here if you're looking to explore Astoria for a few days or more.

The cyclone knocked out power to Astoria and surrounding communities. The manager, was wonderful and did us a huge favor by putting us in a first floor room with our slightly disabled dog. We had a room on the 4th floor, but with no power, there was no elevator. And our dog could not walk up the four flights of stairs. Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Check-in was great, but when we got to the room it wasn’t the one I’d booked. However, the front desk staff resolved the issue quickly and we were moved to the correct room. We had a nice view of the water outside the room. Property is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. They had salmon chowder at 5:00 in the lobby, and the breakfast was good. The surrounding area is pretty industrial - we drove by a number of storage units to get to the hotel. However, it met our needs and we would stay there again.

The woman who was working the night a I checked in was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful for my next stay. She was very friendly and treated me with kindness that is rare these days. I just wish I could remember her name. I'm sure it would be very easy for the Manager to look up though. This is the hotel I prefer to stay at when I'm in town and will continue to do so for my future stays.

We were really excited to stay here. The property was worn out. Check in was poor. Charges were confusing with large unknown “authorizations” on my card tying up thousands of dollars. Staff could not explain why their records did not match what my bank showed. I will not stay here again.

The location is kind of funky. Its away from town on the point of the bay but getting into it you go through the UHaul yard. There is no view of the water as there is a big berm of wild berry bushes. The walking path is nice for a quick stroll. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Can walk to the trolley but it only runs until 4-5 p.m. if it isn't raining. They only service room if given 24 hour notice. Hot breakfast is ok, but same everyday.

For being an older property, we were impressed with the well appointed and clean rooms. The breakfast was amazing and the complimentary cookies in the afternoon and salmon chowder in the evening was a very nice touch. Plenty of parking, but the location wasn't great. It was confusing to have to drive thru a U-Haul business to get to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely hotel with an excellent staff. We especially enjoyed the Riverwalk Trail adjacent to the hotel, spacious clean room and special touches such as salmon chowder in the afternoon and a hot breakfast in the morning. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean. Bed was very comfy. Thin walls. Stayed 2 nights and breakfast minimal and not alot to pick from the warm items. Front desk was very pleasant. Loved the cookies and the option for chowder in evening. Didnt try chowder but was nice option. Pool was small but we ended going during slow times.

The room and people were great. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast buffet. When we arrived, about an hour before it was to close, most of the hot food was gone or almost gone. Finally someone came to check but it was too late and we went somewhere else.

The staff was nice. Upon check in there was warm cookies, as well as complimentary salmon chowder. The room was nice with local coffee, glass mugs, robes, and was clean! The breakfast was delicious! We had sausage and pancakes. They even offered soy milk for cereal. We will definitely be staying here again!

The property was right on the waterfront, near the boat harbor. Though we didn't take advantage of the riverwalk due to the rain, we loved waking up to the view. The room was nice and comfortable. There were robes for us to use (we didn't) and actual glasses, both for water and wine, instead of those flimsy paper or plastic disposable cups. There was half and half for the coffee, not those packets with dry creamer. It would have been more quiet, but it was across from the elevator and our wall abutted the stairs. What we did did not like was that the breakfast area was hugely insufficient for a hotel with so many rooms (75, I believe). The breakfast area had about 8 or 9 tables in a tiny space. Not all guests were using common courtesy to give up their table once they finished. Some folks were clearly done, but on their phones or just dawdling. The food looked like it was good, you just couldn't quite get to it.
