The hotel did not disclose that it was under construction at the time of our stay, even though we booked just a week before arrival. The construction was noisy, and it meant that the dining room was closed (though some breakfast was served in the lobby, which had very limited seating). The staff was kind enough to offer to change our room to get further from the construction. But they refused to offer any discount on the room charge. The elevator was especially small and slow, and located in a hallway which would make access somewhat difficult for those in wheelchairs. This hotel will be an OK option when upgrades are finished. But its location and layout mean it will never be a good one.

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Close to downtown. The price seemed fairly high already considering it was not a time when there was a home football game or anything. They also tacked on a $10 parking fee, which just felt like a cheap shot. Its obvious every single person is going to drive to that hotel in the location that it is in. So why not put that in the up front price? Overall good experience though.

The staff was very friendly upon check in. The hotel and room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was much more modern than I expected and the amenities were great. We had a great river view, too. I would definitely stay again.

We booked this stay early one morning after needing to quickly leave another local hotel for safety reasons. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and kept our luggage behind the desk so we did not have to haul it to the University campus. The room was clean and well appointed, and the staff was very friendly. We will plan to stay here again!

Got the room because of river view, well windows were so dirty with bird poop, and spider webs we could hardly enjoy the view, killed two spiders in the room, walls are paper thin, the cleaning girl was thorough and kind.

The remodel is gorgeous. Our room was very spacious. Corvallis is not a big town, so while this is an away from the OSU campus, that we were visiting, it is still only about a 2-3 minute drive there. It was the OSU spring family weekend, and the hotel was so gracious and had a flyer to hand out to all families with a list of events happening on campus. They were very accommodating we will definitely be back.

Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfy. The unfortunate part was the noise. There were earplugs left on the nightstand for us ( super kind gesture), but 1st clue it was going to be noisy. All nigh I could hear the people upstairs, in the hallway, and outside (walls are thin I guess). We were in a room above the entrance and the doors slamming from unloading and checking in, the “ding ding” of the cars when they leave their keys in and the doors open, all were pretty constant late at night and early in the morning. Also, there were a large amount of homeless right around the property ( didn’t bother us, but was definitely noticeable).

We stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels whenever possible. You can feel confident you’re going to be in a good place. This location was super convenient and had possibly the nicest staff I’ve ever met at a hotel. From the front desk, to housekeeping to the Breakfast Room Attendant, just fantastic service. Unfortunately, we hardly slept the two nights we were there because the bed was awful. Many years past it’s “Best by” date. It was collapsing in the center and soft or firm in all the wrong places. A renovation is currently under way and my hope is that replacing the mattresses is a top priority.

This is one of my favorite properties so I was very disappointed in the response and condition. Our room was generally great. However when going to take a shower late at night turning on the water a shower of sugar ants came pouring out of the faucet. Ants all over the tub. In going to the desk to ask for assistance I was met with indifference. There was nothing they could do as there was no maintenance on staff. There was no apologies or efforts to correct. They said we could move to one smaller bed/room that was available on the other side of the hotel, however it was 11pm and that was not ideal. When checking out I mentioned the situation and again was met with indifference. It is a shame because I do really like this hotel and we do travel here a lot with two children at OSU. However there was no effort to try to fix anything or make it right in any way. More of a shoulder shrug and what do you want me to do attitude.

I love the location. The staff was fine. However... I called a few days ahead of time requesting a ground floor room. This was not honored. I am a disabled veteran. I had several heavy totes of items to take to the county fair. They put me on the 3rd floor. While I was staying there the elevator failed for 2 days causing me to have to move heavy totes by the stairs. I managed but it was a huge painful hassle. They also tack on a refundable xxx per night damage charge. These issues will make me consider other hotels in the future.

Everything was great until I forgot an item in the room after our departure and I was unable to get it back. The staff made on effort to help me get it back. They claimed it was not found. Beware if you forgot your valuables, you will not get it back.

As always, the customer service was Superior. The rooms were amazingly clean! The breakfast was delicious and had a ton of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. For those of you who might be looking at staying here for a Oregon State student visit... It is a 6-minute Uber ride from this hotel to pretty much anywhere on campus. Absolutely. The only place I will stay when I am visiting my children while they attend Oregon State.

Had a great stay. Only thing that went wrong is when I checked in the girl at the front desk was on the phone with someone about a future stay. Instead of putting her on hold while I was waiting to check in, she just continues to try and help this lady. Luckily the manager came out and took over the call or I still might be waiting.

Great staff that went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are new and nicely appointed. The gym was small but good equipment and clean. It much to eat close, but the med restaurant across the street was excellent. Only challenge I had was the hot water was limited. Everything else and my stay was great.

We were woken up by the smoke alarm at 3am and I tried calling the front desk using the hotel phone but could not get through. I finally had to go the front desk, luckily the agent was able to come up to our room and change the battery of the smoke alarm. But it went off again 20 mins later. The agent was kind enough to move us into another room, upgrading us to a river front view. The second night we were woken up by someone trying to open our door which was very disturbing. Not a great experience for our two nights at the hotel.

The hotel was going through renovation. I’m sure it’ll look nice once completed but it was loud and difficult to navigate around while there. Breakfast was pretty lackluster. Pre-packaged pastries, apples and bananas. It lacked the typical waffle maker and toaster. On the plus side there is a very good Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

We had a great stay over graduation weekend. We didn’t have a river view room, which would’ve been nice, but we did get a recently renovated room, which was very modern, clean and comfortable. The room had Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap & lotion, a hair dryer & refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated on a walking path by the river and there are restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Parking on site is pretty limited, but there is overflow parking across the street. We only had trouble finding on site parking one night, when we returned after 11p, but it wasn’t a big deal to park across the street. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to fellow travelers passing through Corvallis.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean. The upgraded coffee machine results in a real cup of coffee versus brown water. Breakfast was also great. Eggs and bacon were cooked the way I like them. For this stay, the weather was cold, but when it is nice, eating on the patio overlooking the river is great too.

Best 2-star hotel I’ve been in for a long time. Newly renovated, very nice rooms, foyer, breakfast area. Bed and linen comfortable, handy coffee bar area with microwave/ fridge. Great breakfast selection in a fresh, sunny area overlooking the river. Enjoyable stay.

The water pressure is woefully inadequate. The rooms facing the roadway are very loud. The breakfast was understaffed. Empty warming dishes - no potatoes or eggs- the entire time we were in breakfast room and pancake machine broken. Other than those issues its a standard HIE.
