The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a breakfast with waffles for the hot food. The hotel is but dated, but very clean and does allow pets at a reasonable fee ($15 ) for one dog. Will stay here again when in the area this Fall.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, enough towels; we were not disturbed by any noises including from a train, as reported by others. The breakfast is carbohydrates only: waffles, muffins, bagels, and low-fat yogurt full of sugar. There was no proteins available - no hard boiled eggs.

This is my hotel of choice in Gettysburg. The staff is amazing. Rooms are always clean & comfortable. Pool & hot tub are wonderful and open late. Free breakfast includes waffles along with standard continental breakfast items. Perkins, Dairy Queen, and Dunkin Donuts are just across the parking lot. Walmart is a 2 minute drive away. Very close to route 15 & easy drive into DC. Parking lot is well lit. I have stayed here often and don’t have anything bad to say. Be aware though: 2 floors, no elevator.
