We checked out a day earlier than expected due to not being able to use the swimming pool. it just looked really bad the pool looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. really disappointed due to the reason we booked the hotel room.

Location was good for battlefield. Room had badly stained carpet which we reported to front desk to be sure we were not charged for damages. No mention of moving us. Air smelled very musty, not sure if from carpet or a/c. Our last hotel of a 12 night trip and our most disappointing.

The Inn itself, I was located in a really nice place, but uh it needs some upkeep. Especially the bathrooms in the rooms, it just looked old and grungy, and it wasn't very clean. Our first night there, we had to call down because our tub would not drain.It took us two askings before they finally sent somebody to unclog,it.

The room needs to be updated from the 60s wallpaper that was peeling from the walls. Shower could use a good dose of bleach on the walls to remove the mold in the grout. There were 2 bugs on the wall and ants appeared all over one of the nightstands after we returned to the room without any sweets or sticky to bring them. There were dirty wash cloths hanging in the shower when we first entered. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor which did not help my knee at all. The girl checking us in was not the most friendly person. Parking was not good, there are multiple rooms with the same room numbers so I had to guess which one was ours. I normally don't stay at Quality Inns for these types of reasons but gave it another shot. Same results. Won't happen again.

Best thing going for hotel is its location. On site breakfast and bar nice amenities, Bathrooms need to be updated. Toilet seats are really low for adults. Location of bathroom tissue dispenser very awkward to reach. Temperature hard to moderate in room - noisy air conditioning.

My friend and I had a great 4-night stay at the Quality Inn in Gettysburg. The location is ideal for walking to several museums, the battlefields, restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable, although neither of us liked that the bathroom sink was outside of the toilet/tub area. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating, especially Brian at the front desk. The breakfast was excellent: a good variety of items including fresh fruit. I would definitely recommend staying at the Quality Inn!

I liked the close proximity to the battlefield. It took a while to figure out the room temperature controls. For a while the heater and AC were fighting each other. We solved it by turning off the heat.

Booked a room with 3 beds but didn’t realize until we walked in the room the beds were only full size. Room was clean but dated. This has been our least favorite room on our week long road trip. This was very close to the cemetery though and walking distance to other sites.

I don\'t usually like writing bad reviews of hotel properties, but because of the amount that I spent on this stay I feel I need to. The man who checked us in (and "delt" with us almost everytime...) was rude & unbothered. He also loved using the excuse of " that we went through a third party for our reservation" whenever we ran into an issue. The bathroom was very dirty. There were dead bugs all over the floor. Tub floor was obviously unwashed & the wall paper was bulging & peeling in places. The towels also had stains on them. The room itself seemed like it had not been dusted in sometime, & there was an odd build up of dirt piles behind some of furniture. I honestly hope that they did some type of cleaning beforehand. When we brought this up with the front desk they did send housekeeping up to clean the bathroom floor & tub, & replenish the linens. That was nice but it shouldn\'t have been necessary if the room had been cleaned the first time. If you plan on staying here, do not count on a everyday cleaning. They do not provide it. I\'m also not sure why everyone was touting the breakfast... It was average at best.

Not one complaint! Clean rooms,check-in staff friendly,maintenace man came right up when i couldnt figure out the AC. Helped with my luggage when he saw i was struggling. Checkout was simple. Liked the location as well.

Even though I paid extra so I could pay at check in, my card was charged the night before I arrived, and then again at check in. So I have 2 charges for $169 out of my bank account. I tried explaining this to the front desk and showing them, and they didn't seem to care. There are definitely 2 charges out of my account, which really hinders the rest of my trip. I also asked for a room on the first floor which they supposedly didn't have, even though I watched them give one to a couple who didn't book in advance, and also paid a lot less for their room! Either don't use Expedia or don't book in advance at this place if you don't want double charged! Also this room smells like pee (possibly dog pee I can't tell which) and the carpet has stains and so does the bathroom. Furniture is chipped too. For the price they charge they can definitely afford to fix some of this stuff, esp if everyone gets double charged like I did. The only good thing so far is that it's really close to a lot of the tourist places here.

After 2 months of traveling on the road across the country this stay was the most disappointing. After we checked in to our room we realized that the room and bathroom area was infested with ants, lots of ants. When my wife told the woman at the front desk she was told “well, people shouldn’t leave food out” (we had just checked in). They offered to move us to another room or fumigate. We moved to another room and the TV didn’t work so the maintenance guy came and tried to fix it and couldn’t (he was by far the nicest person we dealt with). The front desk person told us we could stay there without a TV and they would fix it in the morning. So instead we moved again. FYI, Every time you move you have to move your car as well (that’s the rule). We stayed for 2 nights in these filthy rooms and had bad treatment from the front desk staff. It was a great location, next to (also was a part of) the battlefield. Great brew pub across the street. The management needs to invest in improving their facilities and training.

A little outdated, but clean and comfortable. Basic accommodations for a reasonable price. Here's what's special: the motel is literally on Cemetery Hill, a 5-minute walk from the National Cemetery and the High-Water Mark. It's close to everything - you can walk to shopping and family-friendly restaurants. Some rooms have three beds, so it's great for families with kids. Clean outdoor and indoor pools. I come to Gettysburg at least once a year, and I always stay here.

Although advertised as newly remodeled, we found the rooms to be a little outdated. The bathtub leaked a bit. The room was big, and the TV was so far away from the beds it was hard to watch! But they were well kept up, clean and comfortable. The missing star was for the breakfast. It was quite simple and not a lot of choices. I was expecting a bit better! But it was walking distance from some nice restaurants and the front desk people were extremely helpful. I would go back and stay there again.

My room was clean and very comfortable. The motel located very near to where events did and are happening for anyone who visits for any reason pertaining to the Civil War. The check in and check out was handled quickly in both cases. The included breakfast was available each day of our stay. The menu is very limited and the same each day. I understand the difficulty in pleasing everyone but having the menu rotate other options in and out would be a plus. I have stayed at other places in previous trips to Gettysburg. This motel will be considered in future trips
