I was passing through Gettysburg and stayed here one night during a road trip. Check in was quick, staff was friendly, but room key did not work, and I had to return to the desk with all my stuff, to get a new key. I had room 424, a 2 queen standard room that was clean, comfortable, seemed new, was bright, and the beds were great with soft and firm pillow options. There was a Keurig and lots of storage! Many of the USB plugs were crooked and broken and at least one did not work at all. There was also some highway noise but not much. I loved that the indoor pool was open until 11pm and I had the pool to myself for a late night swim which was wonderful! The pool and gym area looked great! The breakfast was excellent, lots of options, including veggie omelets, sausage, pancakes, the excellent cinnamon buns, the worker kept things clean and stocked, but he startled me when he ran over to open the hot foods lid for me. He often kept his arms folded and watched guests eat which wasn't so welcoming. The coffee was great too! When asked, staff allowed me to check out at 11:30 instead of 11am which was appreciated! I would definitely stay here again, it was a great newer property, with comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast, and overall it was a great one night stay!

This hotel was perfect for a getaway trip to Gettysburg. Pool for kids was a win. Washer and dryer for me win. Shopping outlets right near the hotel win, and all the important sites for Gettysburg win. Super clean and super nice staff.

Located off the highway and near the outlet shops, this hotel is very convenient. There is a small pool that is very safe for small children. The free breakfast was varied enough to suit everyone’s tastes. My only complaint was their pet policy, which I wasn’t aware of until I arrived. It’s $50 extra a day, even if you don’t have your room cleaned each day. I found this to be excessive. Otherwise, this was a great hotel, especially for families.

Keys weren't activated for our room and the front desk clerk just stated that, didn't apologize that she forgot to activate them. Holiday Inn overall should also consider their pet fee of $50/night per pet regardless of size. Other hotels don't charge a fee at all, or charge that for 2 small pets. Location is convenient and was very quiet to get a good night sleep.

Stayed here 1 night with my boyfriend for a getaway. For the price, this hotel is exceptional. The rooms are nice and modern and spacious. The free breakfast in the morning was awesome. They offered egg white omelets and bacon and turkey sausage and all breakfast food. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi.

The hotel is very nice and clean, rooms are very spacious, and beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed breakfast the next morning as well. The only negatives were the food wasn't that hot and when I took a shower the bottom of the tub was very slippery.

The bathroom was not clean from the dirty towel hanging to hair in the sink around toilet and the tub drain was grossly dirty. The bed was hard also. The staff was nice and i showed them pics of these complaints and i was told it was 3 rd party so they couldn't do anything. I said I'm cool with them just telling the staff to do better anyhow. Would never stay there again. Didn't use the shower due to the cruddy drain. Manager and front desk staff being nice is only thing positive i could say and it was better than sleeping outside.

The outlet shoppes are nearby and we were able to get food delivered right to our room. And, it's less than 2 miles from the Gettysburg National Park.

So my wife gifted me for my birthday at weekend at Gettysburg. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Gettysburg. This hotel is located right next to some Outlet stores. There is ample free parking. Checking in was very simple. I checked in in the evening and the front desk staff was very friendly. She told me where to park in order to get to my room easier. She reminded me that there was coffee and if it did not taste fresh that she would make me a fresh pot. Our room was a suite with a King Bed. The room was very spacious with a computer desk, lounge sofa, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was spacious with large walk in shower. Hotel had full hot breakfast in the morning with very attentive staff. My only complaint, and it is not anything major is that the television in the room is quite small for the size of the room. Other than that, I will definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Gettysburg. The Hotel is close to the center of town and to all historic visiting areas.

Hard as heck to find this place. GPS coordinates are way off. The bed was super comfy and the room clean. I stayed two nights and asked at the desk for housekeeping to pull the trash while i was gone my first day. It was not done. The place was very full with mostly teens and pre-teens but other than the typical slamming of doors as they all went to breakfast they were a good bunch. The staff did a good job of cleaning up after them. No view but I was only there to sleep and shower. Loved the shower. The Dove products were very much appreciated.

IHG appears to be a declining brand which for many years I was always impressed especially by the staff. The front desk staff are not very welcoming, the guest feels like they interrupted the person for what they were doing on their personal computer. Not sure when professional appearance and courtesy was eliminated from the hospitality standards. The value is not evident especially for the price. Would not recommend.

The lady at the check-in was amazing. She made sure we had a room that was away from the hi-way traffic noise. She had a great personality and asked about our day when we returned in the evening. The breakfast was the standard fare but it was always well stocked. Overall, a great experience.

It's set back and a bit difficult to find at first but once there it's easy. Its very near the Outlet Shops in Gettysburg but a short drive from the battlefield (10 min.). Not really walkable but an easy straight drive down Baltimore St. The hotel is very clean and well appointed. It's a relatively new hotel and feels fresh and clean. The breakfast was great. I will stay there again as it's much cleaner and nicer than many hotels around Gettysburg.

Finding Holiday Inn Express Gettysburg should have been easier than it was. Once off the main road you really had to wing it. We followed the GPS directions but kept hitting dead ends. A sign or two would have helped. Once checked in, everything went well. The front desk employee was a font of knowledge and gave us a great tip for dinner. Our room was clean, had the best access to parking, and the beds were very comfortable. I look forward to any excuse to return.

It needs better signage. Hard to find from the Baltimore Pike. Almost no signs leading to the hotel once you turn at the Outlets sign.

The property was very easy to get to and close to Gettysburg battlefield. The breakfast was good and had a lot to choose from. The had biscuits and gravy with bacon and sausage 😋 They also had fruit, boiled eggs and pancakes. The perfect start to the day.

Great experience for my one-night stay! Room was impeccably clean with lots of great lighting. Breakfast was delicious with lots of good options and staff were friendly and helpful. My only, small suggestion is that they offer a potato option at breakfast (like homefries or hash browns) and maybe one less meat option (since there were several and one less wouldn't have been missed). I would happily stay here again!
