I was a little disappointed in our room .. the wallpaper was peeling off the wall .. there was a stain in the carpet next to the bed .. the carpet was wrinkled in our room and the bathroom also had peeling wallpaper by the shower door .. the shower itself was just very old and dingy .. not impressed at all .. over all review .. not worth the money we paid for the room and valet parking .. its just a very worn out hotel

Stayed 1 night

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown. I paid $542.75 for one night for a Junior Suite and expected a much higher standard. The room was not properly maintained or cleaned. There was visible dirt, dust, debris, buildup, staining, and areas that appeared to have water damage or poorly completed repairs. The bathroom and surrounding areas were also not up to the standard I would expect from a Wyndham Grand property. The TVs were not working, which was especially frustrating because I was traveling with my autistic son. Having the TV available is part of his routine and helps him feel comfortable when away from home. This made an already disappointing stay even more difficult. The mattress was also extremely uncomfortable—hard, springy, and felt like an old mattress from decades ago. For $542.75 for ONE NIGHT, I expected cleanliness, comfort, working amenities, and a well-maintained room. Unfortunately, we received none of those things. I have photographs documenting the condition of the room and have submitted a formal complaint to Wyndham and Hotels.com. I would not recommend this property based on my experience, and I will think twice before booking another Wyndham property. The only thing that was a positive was the valet upon arrival and departure.
