It was very close to PNC Park, but one of the two elevators wasn't working and the other wasn't much better. No coffee available in the morning after letting them know. For the jacked up price due to the event it was definitely not worth it

The hotel room and facilities were great, but our car was broken into during the night. We had a temporary window in place so we asked the staff about security. They said there were cameras so it would be fine. The parking lot is open to the street and didn't seem very safe. We reported the breakin at the front desk. To be fair, there are "park at your own risk" signs in the lot, but we had a late arrival and didn't really know what else to do. In general, we're very happy with Holiday Inn Express. It's our #1 go-to hotel on the road.

Nice hotel. Close to the stadiums. Great breakfast option. Only complaint is the pool is extremely small. Went to go swimming with my family and there was a family of 5 which took up the entire pool.

The hotel is in an area not suited for night time arrival. Though it’s around the corner from the Warhol museum, the area is a bit run down and desolate for single travelers. The hotel , though somewhat modern in decor , was filthy. My quilt was dirty with hair and food stains… ( I hope it was food not something else). But I arrived at midnight so not much they could do about that . Also in the morning the shower did not have hot water… so I showered in cold water. Would not recommend staying here .

Our room was very noisy-traffic all night long as it’s near the freeway. Very loud! The housekeeping in our room was not good. Towels replaced but the bed was made very sloppily, if at all. Sheet corners untucked, messy top covers. Just not a welcoming sight after being out and about all day.

There was a puddle of water coming from under the fridge and the floor was sticky the shower only had one door so the water got everywhere and there was someone’s hair all over the shower walls

Sounded like they were rearranging the dumpsters at 10pm right below our window, not sure why but the sound of crashing dumpsters was less than pleasant to try and fall asleep to. The shower was gross. There was mold on the dove bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower and the shower floors were dirty with mold in the corners as well. Shower door hinge on the bottom also came right off when we slid the door open and was covered in black mold on the inside.

Overpriced per night which I get for a Steelers game however room was dirty and bathroom wasn't clean. Shower curtain too high off the floor and bathroom flooded with each shower. Condoms left in the room by the prior guest. I travel to Pittsburgh often, doubt I will stay here again, especially for that price.

Did the job, but nothing spectacular. Room rate was fairly cheap, but they charge $28/day for parking in an uncovered lot which is a rort. The King rooms are are on the side of the hotel near the highway. It is pretty loud, so be aware

The roller shade had a broken chain. We Jerry rigged a was to keep it open, but it was mildly irritating. We tried to stream to the tv and couldn’t get it to work. We called the desk and they someone to our room. He was friendly but was told we had no tv signal. Then he tried to troubleshoot the issue but couldn’t get it to cast either. We gave up. The phone only worked if on speaker.

The hotel is very nice and the room was quite spacious. However, the Thruway traffic literally right outside the window kept us up most of the night. In addition, there was an issue with one of the beds and every time we moved it made a noise.

Loved that this property was close to many attractions/dining/ and close to downtown. When checking in at 530p we waited 45 mins to get checked in because there was only one receptionist and he had one speed. Slow

Let’s just say I would not book here again. I got to the hotel at checkin time (3:00pm) didn’t get a room until 5:00pm, I was told repeatedly they were unstaffed and had a lot of check outs. My room was missing the comforters which was another inconvenience. and the widows are paper thin I heard everything that was happening outside to the point I couldn’t get any sleep. Lastly, the food attendant for breakfast was very rude! Like I stated I would not book at this hotel again.

Considering this is a hotel in the middle of a very busy city, it is its own little oasis. The rooms are spacious. The whole area is very clean. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And the staff is great! Helpful, attentive, offered options for meals and sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again

Staff was very accommodating. Was in town to run the marathon and they kindly extended the checkout and parking lot time from 11am to 2 pm. That was fantastic to be able to use the room shower after the race and not worry about another place to park.

They will not help you with any issues due to always claiming that they are understaffed. I brought up my issue with a broken curtain and one person finally came to check a day later and told me they couldn’t do anything. I had to sleep with a non working curtain and couldn’t sleep in due to the piercing sunlight. When I asked if it could get fixed or if I could get a different room it was a hard no. Even after my issues I was never called back by management to discuss this issue. Be careful with the nightly front desk staff. They have poor behavior and make fun of the guests walking in. Do not buy anything from there as they will rip you off! Location was great.

At check in, the staff was NOT friendly. We had a friend that cancelled and I tried to tell the check in lady, we wouldn't be using the 1 room. She quickly shut me up, didn't want to listen to anything I had to say, and just handed me the keys to my room. So unprofessional and cold. The hotel was very clean, bed very comfortable. Parking is easy, great location on the North Shore. At check out, the staff was very friendly and even told us to have a good day!

We were only there for a night and selected this hotel for its proximity to the Andy Warhol museum, not to mention the breweries and restaurants, but it’s probably a much different (and more expensive) experience if you’re there for/during a Pirates or Steelers game. Ask for a room that’s not facing the very nearby freeway, if you have the luxury of choice.

We visited Pittsburgh to see family and to enjoy a Pirates game. We were very pleased with this hotel - only a block away from the stadium with ample parking. Our room with quite comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Breakfast was hot and tasty, although there was some difficulty keeping coffee and entrees well stocked on Saturday. However, we assumed this was due to insufficient staffing, as the attendants were working feverishly to keep up with demand. Other than that, all was great. We would definitely stay here again.
