The bed was horrible, the room was so old and beat that this was 100% one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. PLUS there were eye lashes left on the counter in the bathroom. I refused to shower there cause who the hell knows if the bathroom was actually cleaned. The pool area was so rusty and falling apart it was sad. The duct tape over the sky lights, the shattered glass in one of the swimming pool area’s window, the hot tub had caution tape on it…..I mean, if we had any other choice, we would have left. Hotels in the area were sold out due to a large event going on. The only plus, is they are in the middle of construction so I hope the clearly neglected facility gets a major redo.

Room was nice and clean. Hallway smelled like mildew since we were close to the pool area. But the room itself did not smell. Beds were comfortable and clean. They give you wrist bands for the pool and for breakfast in the morning. No one monitors use of these. Pool area was not as nice as the pictures. Definitely needs a face lift. Pool towels were too small even for my 9 year old skinny kid. Chairs in the pool room were broken. Pool itself seemed clean and taken care of. Breakfast was good. Many options for everyone. The waitress there was so nice and helpful. Very hard working making sure everyone was ok and tables were clean. It was 9:30 when they started cleaning some of the stuff up tho, when breakfast was to end at 10am. Would stay again since it was close to the amusement parks, and in a decent area. Was surprised it was so quiet being close to the interstate. Would stay again.

This hotel is convenient to visit my sister in law. The people are friendly, the breakfast is fine. Huge indoor pool is nice too, but the hot tub isn’t working & heard rumor that it will be removed. This hotel hasn’t been maintained, paint splotches here and there, worn furniture, bathroom door needing to be replaced as it sticks & the bottom is falling apart. But the hotel is safe, the people are helpful, and it is convenient. We will stay again, but if you plan to stay here keep your expectations in check. This is a far cry from the Ritz Carlton. But it is decent.

Pool area was dirty and poorly maintained . Moled in pool area . The beams were very rusted and detereated with rust. The Hot tub was not in use. The hotel was under construction . We picked this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Very disappointed . The one good thing was the breakfast.

The hotel needs a lot of work. The staff was excellent but the property is in bad condition. Lots of rust in the bathroom, pieces of the ceiling hanging down in different parts of the hotel. The fitness room should be shut down until the water damage on the ceiling and tiles are replaced and the equipment is cleaned up along with the floors and walls. Not sure if there is mold. The pool area was also inadequate with lots of rust and water damage.

Check-in staff were rather terse. The room itself was run down. Outlets didn't work, bathroom door didn't close, faucet leaked, shower was lame. No elevator. Overall, it seems like it's been many years since there have been any investments back into the property.

The hotel was under renovation which would have been nice to know ahead of time . There were people working in the halls and stuff was everywhere. The pool was in poor repair and out dated . Duct tape on the broken windows and rusty peeling paint everywhere in the area of the pool. We thought that going through Trivago that we would get the best price and the front desk said they could have beaten it by quite a bit:( there was not even a bar in the closet to hang our clothes on. The window in the room was falling out so another guest came in and secured it enough for us to not have to move to another room.

When we got there they didnt have any shower towels in our room, parking lot is big, nice bar and restaurant inside, loved the 10ft pool

There was a considerably wet area of carpet in the room 275 like there was a leak somewhere, the bathroom was not very clean, there were bugs in the room, it was damp and had a very strong odor.

After I checked in and went to my room the keys didn’t work, so I had to go back and the receptionist made new keys and accompanied me to get in the room. The room smelled, there was for sure a flies breeding in the bathroom plumbing somewhere because there were baby flies all over the place. The towels smelled disgusting. The bathtub was filthy .. The bathroom was totally beat down and the door could barely close. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable. I put the heat on during the night time as the temperature dropped as Pittsburgh can get cold overnight even though it was only end August, and once I did that there was a disgusting smell coming out of the heater so I had to turn it off. The free breakfast was below par compared to other hotels I’ve been to with free breakfast. The coffee was about as cheap as it gets. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay there again if it was free!

We arrived at midnight so we were exhausted from a 6 hour drive. the floor had not been vacuumed, there was dried toothpaste on the faucet and counter, the bathroom floor was dirty, there was hair on the wall and tub, and there was a dirty hand print on the towel. Not having any options we went to bed. In the morning we spoke to the desk clerk. She said to put up our luggage and they would have the room vacuumed and clean the bathroom. We left at 9:00 am and returned at 3:30. NOTHING was done. It was awful. This is an area we visit often and we thought we had a good option for this visit and future visit. We were wrong it was terrible and we will NEVER stay there again.

This hotel is unsanitary, and unsafe. The trash bins in the common areas were overflowing, there was puke going down the stairs, ants in my bed, and mold and bugs on the walls. There were people smoking various things and the hallways smelled of marijuana so bad it was seeping into my room. I brought it to staff’s attention and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

Hallways had a terrible odor. Carpets were old, torn in places and dirty Room was filthy. Not vacuumed, dusted, stains on lampshades, pillowcases and curtains. TV didn’t work. Plaster crumbling. Just disgusting. Will never stay here again. The photos on expedite are deceiving

If you are OCD and like super clean rooms then this hotel is NOT for you. If you are ok with MOTEL like accommodations then this IS it. There are signs saying they are doing renovations and all hallways have no baseboards throughout the whole hotel. The floors are ripped up and there are patches and holes throughout the rooms and hallways. First floor rooms near pool are musty and nasty. Couldn’t even imagine swimming in there.3rd floor was okay. Bathroom and room could have been more clean. They need to update this place asap because it could be a gem. The restaurant actually serves good food but the free breakfast was disgusting. The eggs and sausage had a fishy taste at first bite and my stomach was hurting immediately after. They refrigerate the powder donuts which were cold and chewy. Recommend making a waffle eating some toast or oatmeal and maybe some cereal. The fitness center was also less than desirable and like being in a basement. I don’t plan to return here. The staff was pretty friendly. The outside was well lit so I didn’t feel unsafe and it was actually pretty clean. However, that did not prepare me for the inside…

i liked that is was close to where i needed to be and offered free breakfast. the staff was very nice to me. the room was clean. however, the fire alarm was ripped out of my room. there are no elevators and the walls are thin. in the room next door, the alarm kept ringing all morning. i could not sleep with it on. also, the remote did not work. it turned the tv on, could adjust the volume, but could not change the channel.

The shower didn’t get warm in room 206. Was told there was no parking where there was that was closer to our room. Shower ceiling was moldy and caving in. Window was not secure in any fashion and could not be locked. Basically falling apart and dirty.

The hotel smelled, the floors were ripped up, there were holes in the hallway halls, our battery to our door was broke, the bed was like sleeping in gravel, the breakfast was horrible! The room was not clean, half the outlets did not work.

The first room they put us in was dirty. The second room wasn't much better. Noisy air conditioner. We had to turn it off at night because it was keeping us up. Infested with gnats for some reason. Construction in the hallways made the stay even worse. Choose a different hotel

Tried to check in at 2. Rudely told that check in was at 3. Come back. Later checked in and given room. Walked down and room was a wreck. Hadn’t been cleaned. Went back, told them, given another room. No apology. Teenagers running up and down hallways all night. Complained to desk. They were already aware but couldn’t stop them. The absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. Wouldn’t go back if it was free

The property needs renovation and generally more attention from the owners. Breakfast was very good. Angie was very helpful while we were checking in and provided us with all necessities.I forgot toothbrush and toothpaste, it was provided.

Property needs updated. Going through construction but not listed on the site. Not accessible for those with physical disabled. Room phone didn’t work. Housekeeping staff stole my phone & flat iron. Management Shelby defended staff & told me I wasn’t telling the truth& blame other guest on entering my room . No camera in hallways. Door are propped open . A lot guess hanging in the hallways. Stay here at your own risk. Keep ur head on swivel. Infestation of ant at the pool

The front desk people were super nice. The AC in our room worked. The hotel has seen better days. Shabby and worn, maintenance does not appear to be kept up. The power was out when we checked in and went out several more times during our stay. The towels were yellowed with age as were the sheets. Our bathroom door looked as if it had been kicked in and soaked down with water. The swing lock on the door wouldn’t lock because the screws kept falling out. Half the lamps and outlets in our room did not work. We had asked housekeeping for some coffee for our room the second day we stayed and he yelled loudly when he went into the storage closet and then told us there was no coffee. Water leaks in some of the hallways. The restaurant was closed due to power outages for most of our stay. To top it off, they did not honor the rate Expedia showed when we booked. This horrible place cost us an additional $133 than we were told it would. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had to wait 45 minutes after check in, ,was told room still wasn't ready, then my friend got her room before me, even though I booked in February and she 2 days before, the staff was not very friendly and the manager would not come out to help resolve the problem. The pool area wasn't cleaned, no clean towels. Won't go back!

Excellent, did not actually interact with staff. Great breakfast provided in a clean lounge area with a view. Previosly stayed 7 years ago and pool and small gym were a bit run down over the years and need painting., signs of age and wear in bathroom. Away from Downtown but close to arboretum and zoo, mall a few miles away. Layout or interior is confusing and you get a map, you'll need it! But overall good condition and pleasant.

The breakfast was excellent quality and the beds were comfortable. The carpets in the main hallways need to be replaced as they are very worn and looked dirty. I wasn’t able to use the pool although it looked fabulous and it was a good temperature. The location was great for our purpose on this trip.

Everything was acceptable considering age of building and location. And rate was good. It's my second time staying. And I have to say. The COFFEE IS THE WORST WEAKEST, WATERED DOWN OFFERING IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I'm not a coffee snob, and I don't expect amazing coffee. But this is literally offensive to offer your guests.

I kept having trouble with the card to get in the door , so that’s not good when you have to use the rest room & have to keep going to the front desk ! The pool room needs updated! The pool itself was clean and warm ! No life guard though .. lots of channels to watch on tv , parking was cool , The bar should stay open past 10 ! The breakfast was ok ! Food to order was good Especially the salad!!

Traveling alone on business so I'm not to fussy. No linen or towel changes for the 5 nights I stayed. Room so damp or humid that nothing felt dry when changing clothes. Had booked 6 nights. Not reimbursed for night I did not stay. Had to pay Hotels.com full 6 nights when booking. Restaurant was good. Very limited menu but good. Breakfast buffet was good.
