The check in was easy. The facility was clean if not anything special. Note if you are not using this as a stop over, you have to pay for parking. It is thru the airport and $20.00 a day. Not bad but be prepared.

There is very limited parking available. I arrived in the evening during a torrential downpour & was told there was no onsite parking available. Had to park at airport long term parking & make my wet way back to hotel. Sure would’ve appreciated knowing ahead of time. Staff could have cared less.

I stay here whenever I have an early morning flight out of Pittsburgh. There is a walkway directly to airport. Hotel gym is fantastic. Rooms are nice but are getting a little dated. Some rooms more dated than others. Front desk is always very nice. This visit, my room had strong clorox odor and front desk was very nice about changing my room.

We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and we’ve always had great service. This time, the receptionist seemed rushed because of another guest. The bathroom had hair in the tub. It just seemed dirty all around. Since it is attached to the airport we will probably stay again. However, this experience has definitely been noted for the future.

The room was very clean. The staff is always courteous as well. I have always loved staying at this hotel because it was directly joined to the airport and I did not need to shuttle to the airport. Unfortunately, now that the renovations at the airport are complete. A shuttle to get there is required. It’s only a couple minutes but the one advantage that I loved the best, is no longer there.

The fire alarm went off twice around midnight on the first night. The fire alarm speaker in the room was not working properly. Hotel never gave the all clear that there was no emergency. The bathroom sink is clogged and is slow to drain. There was mold on the vent in the shower. The location was convenient. The room was nice.

If you have an early flight and want to wake up and walk to the airport it’s convenient. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The room had stained sheets, the bathroom was not clean and the coffee machine still had used grounds in it (easy to miss, but shouldn’t be if you clean the rooms properly).

This is the priciest hotel in the area. The hairdryer provided was sticky and dirty and old, and the GFI outlet in the bathroom was broken…the only outlet in the bathroom. Minimal outlets provided in the room for charging electronics. Disappointed in this stay…would expect this from a cheap hotel, not one that we paid over $250/night. Do better.

Can't beat the location, at the airport. Very good restaurant but tends to get busy and thus slower service. Was given a room near the ice machine, and staff cheerfully and easily relocated me. Room was quiet. Bed seemed a bit worn out and soft.

The hotel front desk person (Diane) assigned room 234. Around 5pm, there was a lot of banging noise (I assumed from the 1st floor); I called the front desk. The front desk person said they would write a complaint and address the problem and if necessary move me to another room. After periodic banging until 10pm (5 hours later), I went to investigate. It turned out they put me next to a fitness center/gym. All the banging was customers dropping dumbbells and free weights. I gathered up all my belongings and headed to the front desk. Why in the world, would the hotel assign a hotel room next to a fitness center/gym. Stupidity. The General Manager needs to spend one night in room 234, then they’ll realize what their customers are experiencing. The hotel needs to get rid of the dumbbells and free weights. Also, after they assigned me a new room (Room 912), at 3am and 3:15am automated wake up call happened that I never requested. I got zero sleep. When a customer pays nearly $250 a night to stay at the Hyatt, they expect and deserve superior service. Not at the Pittsburgh Airport Hyatt. I won’t recommend this hotel anyone including my former colleagues at the government agency I worked for for nearly 30 years.

I arrived at the property around 5P. My check-in time began at 3P. Upon my arrival I noticed the lobby full of people who were unable to go to.their rooms because none of the rooms were cleaned and ready. I waited in the lobby until my room was ready. There was no parking availability at the hotel location. I had to drive to the extended parking at the airport and catch a shuttle back to the hotel. I never want to experience such low grade service as I experienced at Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport.

We called the hotel ahead of time and told them our flight had been delayed. They said no problem. When we finally arrived at 3:30am we did NOT have a room and they charged us a no show fee. The lady(and I am being nice) gave us a room - when we got to the room - it had a do not disturb on the door and key didn’t work and someone was using the bathroom NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Went back down had to wait almost 10 mins for “lady” to show up. She then said well I have nothing else. I said in not so nice words FIND US A ROOM NOW! She said I could have something out of the gift shop if I wanted. Seriously I just wanted to sleep. She looked again and said oh here is a room. It just magically appeared. When I book a room and call ahead to say we are delayed I really expect the room to still be there when I get there

Bare bones chain with a small restaurant and bar off the lobby. The only reason I ever stay there is that the lobby connects directly to the airport. When I have an early flight I book a room for one night. I can't imagine why anyone would stay longer. The rooms are big enough, but the bed linens are uncomfortably scratchy and stiff. Hard to get comfortable.
