Stayed 1 night

I’ve been staying at this hotel for 2 nites every Aug as a pick up/drop off point for a family vacation for the past 15 years. The few great things I can say is the beds are very comfortable, the bedding soft & clean, free cable tv & the location is perfect for those without a vehicle; walking distance to stores & restaurants. Breakfast is minimal, only protein- yogurt!! But I’m sad to say it’s continuing in a downward spiral year after year. Breakfast was out of cream cheese, orange juice & coffee & breakfast was to be served another 45 minutes! Check-in took much longer than it should have with a paid reservation. Btw…The airport shuttle is now $10 each way. You must pay at the hotel, the drivers do not collect any money. At check in I found it odd I was told to report any issues with my room asap. Although I see some improvements year over year, it’s like putting lipstick on a pig at this point. This hotel is really old and needs a lot more work than it gets. New lock pads on the doors were installed but many doors still don’t close tightly (i’ve had to change rooms in past years cause of that yet the doors are still catty wompus.) Another example… new faucets in the bathroom sink; the top of the faucet came off in my hand, screw was missing! Bathroom overall is filthy; black mold by the shower head, toilet dirty, bathroom door dirty, light switch, missing knob & dirty. The housekeeper’s cart rusty. Yuk! This place needs a major renovation, not “lipstick”.

The staff was fine. The overnight guy was really nice. The rooms were kind of wet feeling. The hallways leading to the rooms smelled like musty people. Like someone who doesn’t wear deodorant.

Excellent customer service! Very helpful. Lobby and bathroom need help- especially the bathroom. Our room was clean. Comfy beds. Had a microwave and mini-fridge. Enough space as to not feel crammed together. Would stay here again.

My room had a very musty smell so I got a can of room deodorizer and used about half of it. Then I called the front desk and asked if there was something they could do about the smell. When she got to my room she smelled the room deodorizer I had obtained myself and at my request she left her bottle of spray. When I decided to go to bed, I smelled the musty smell in the bedding all night. I wasn't offered a change of room and I left most of my things in the car. When I checked out next day, I asked for my money back and was told the manager would be back the next week. He said I should have changed rooms because my room should have been cleaned with a big machine and no one would have been allowed in it. He made it sound like it was my fault because I didn't ask for a room change. Remember, I was never offered a room change. The next week (July 22, 2026) I called and was told the manager was out of the country until first week of August and that there was no assistant manager. I'm now waiting for another couple weeks for a resolution. The lobby appeared clean but when I got into the elevator that was a different story. The carpet was frayed and dirty.
