Ok for starters, it was under construction on the whole first floor, and no working elevator so we parked as close as possible to the outside door which had a pallet of construction supplies half blocking the entrance, then we walked into a full blown construction area with debris everywhere and then we had to move construction tote that was blocking the stairs the stairs were extremely dirty with trash from the construction site on them finally we got to the second floor and the stairway door was completely missing. So the beginning of the hallway there was more construction junk cluttering the area finally get to the room and there was a dirty mess at our room door , there was dirt and clutter all down the hallway, so we got inside the room and at first it seemed ok except the bathroom which had no shower curtain, and there was construction dust covering a good portion of many of the room and in the evening I had a hard time dealing with all the dust in the air

Probably the worst experience of my life. Beds were in terrible condition. 1 of 2 beds in room were broken and second one sagged too much. Pool had chlorine tablets thrown in the bottom where kids retrieved them and had to keep from little ones. Hot tub was out of commission, power equipment and hoses all on the pool floor. Door lock was loose, toilet leaked. No manager on duty or would respond for more than 4 days. Overall very disappointed with overall experience.

My overall experience was very good! Staff was attentive and accomodating, and the breakfast was surprisingly good, despite the bacon was under cooked. My only real complaint was the condition of the hot tub. The water was really foamy, which indicates it needs to be changed and re-balanced.

We stayed one night called a few days before was told pool and hot tub were currently working. Husband went to get in hot tub and jets were broken. He told someone they didnt seem like they knew. Theres no elevator incase going up stairs us a problem for some people. Place had plenty of parking not so much fir trucks. Lots of garbage around stairwells. The pillows in our room were completely flat not even a pillow they seriously need replaced. The very thin comforter blanket was not soft and felt cheap. Breakfast was average no fruit options. Like even an apple or banana. No cream cheese for your bagel.

It’s my second time staying here. Perfect for a weekend away. Close to what I needed also. Pool area is nice . Sauna was amazing . Breakfast was also good . Breakfast area was kept very clean and stocked .

Room was decorated nicely but it was obvious the tile floor in the sink area had not been swept or mopped. Small trash left in the corner under the sink, behind the trash can. Dust bunny under the suitcase rack. Other specks of dirt near tub. Made me feel like they probably didn’t vacuum either so I looked closely and found evidence that was also true. Cleanliness should be most important at a hotel.

The best thing about this place was location and staff . The bed was clean but the rest of my room was dirty and very dusty Mirrors were smeared the towels were tossed up on shelves , bathroom tub had hair and dirt and soap grime Toilet was questionable,microwave and fridge were dirty with food in them There was no pamphlet on tv , coffee maker very dusty And the air conditioner didn’t work half the time very disappointed

The staff was friendly, but when we hit back to our room, the bathroom floor was dirty, it looked like someone wiped fecal matter in the wall as you enter the bathroom. Floors throughout were dirty as we didn’t wear our shoes to get the coffee. The breakfast that was to be hot was disgusting everything that was hot was prepackaged frozen food. The pancake machine was neat, but the pancakes were only and 1/8 of an inch thick. He only fruit available was apples. I will stay across the road next time I plan an overnight trip to the casino

Price was reasonable. Room clean, bed comfortable. Some difficulty regulating thermostat. At times noisy out in hall . Rooms with a connection between you are able to hear the other occupant talking. Also able to hear people above you walking.

The hotel was perfect for a quick overnight stay. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. Breakfast was satisfactory. We had a king bed which was very comfortable but we needed bigger pillows and they didn’t have any more to offer us! Overall good stay for the price!

ALL WAS VERY GOOD EXCEPT THE BED MATTRESSES. THEY WERE OLD AND WORN OUT TO WHERE IT FELT LIKE YOU WERE FALLING OUT OF BED! UNFORTUNATELY THIS SUBSTANTIALLY LOWERED THE EXPERIENCE OF AN OTHERWISE WELL KEPT MOTEL.

Was told me room was not going to be ready the first night, After looking for a new hotel and calling back to cancel my room was magically ready. Upon getting there the bathroom lighting never worked, and was never fixed, Lights in the room were burned out/ flickering, Microwave was not working when I got there, Temp gauge on the tub was broken, Room service never came or brough fresh towel any nights. Service greatly did not reflect the price I paid.

100 percent worse place to stay. Wife and kids where walked in on while she was dressing by a male house keeper. Did not Announce himself. Just swiped his card.Open the door seeing my wife topless turned around walked away in got into a different room. When we talked to manager i was told that he was sorry and i would get my two night stay for free. Lol that didnt happen either. We asked for him to be taken off the property so my wife and kids can feel safe in a place that we paid good money for he said yes for sure. And what do you know the man was in the next room cleaning not even 20 mins later. Tried to get refund so we could leave and go somewhere safe. No refund was issued will be callig the cops today to report hope this happens to nonones kids or wife!! They are terrified now thanks

The first time we have stayed here and were impressed as everything from staff to our room was the way it should be. Our room was very clean, the refrigerator, microwave, air conditioner all worked. Breakfast had a good variety of items. Check-in was easy and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Have made note of a 10+ rating (our rating) for future travels.

Very confusing at check-in. If I hadn't booked through Expedia I would have definitely left for another hotel. It was confusing for all who were checking in. They weren't even sure if they had a room for anyone.

The room itself was fine. Had some trouble with keeping a consistent temperature in the room though. My only complaint is that at 7:30 in the morning, housekeeping comes walking into my room! No knock or anything. I hears the lock disengage and called out "Hello"? The housekeeper then stammered "Oh, Uhm....do you need towels?" Annoyed I told them no. I then put the CHAIN on the door and they tried to walk in AGAIN 10 mins later!!!

This place was awful!! I booked the rooms on my credit card. Staff at desk let people check in without me being present and without looking at a credit card, ID, anything! Plus she was rude. Then my son's room had crushed up crackers all over the carpet and dried urine all over the base of the toilet. He had hair all through his sheets. I would NEVER stay here again. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it does have to be CLEAN!! There is no excuse for that.

We were in Shippensburg for a concert at the University and decided we didn't want to drive home late and booked a room at the Best Western Shippensburg. The property is a bit older but the room and the beds were clean and the hotel fit the bill for what we needed and at a very good value. The front desk and breakfast room staff were very nice and we had everything we needed.

About a minute off I-81but still quiet. Staff very pleasant and helpful, tho it is obvious English is not their first language. They were very cheerful and polite in dealing with the language issue. Room clean and cozy. Pool is small but very nice, and clean. Several restaurants nearby, as well as an Aldi and Walmart for those "I thought we packed the toothpaste" moments. A casino very close (near Walmart- about 3 minutes away) if you're into that. Two gas station, one by I-81 exit; other, off-brand near Walmart entance (Conestoga Rd.) As a female solo traveler, I felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Super convenient to the Shippensburg campus for a concert there at the Luhr's Center -- comfortable room, pool, free breakfast, and right off the I81 exit so easy to get to

We were on our way home from Tennessee and this hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was very relaxing and helped from the long drive. Breakfast was decent. Should have had a few more hot choices and better variety of fruit.

I was pleasantly surprised. I have stayed at other Best Western motels that were not sufficiently renovated. This one was very clean, staff was friendly, the hot/ cold breakfast was amazing! I recommend it highly!
