Extremely clean lovely clean pillows and comforter. Plenty of towels brought our dog no issues quiet supposedly a lot of dogs there but never saw or heard them. Breakfast was excellent saved us a lot of money right there! No huge damage deposit for dog and then wait for your refund. I will never go to cheap place again! Worth the extra $45!!

The room was open, easily accessible and clean. There was ample parking and a pet area to walk my dog that was clean.

Then room was clean and well-stocked. The pool was warm and the employee at the desk duting check in was an absolute gem. He was so friendly and his dog was just adorable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The pool was down. This was of my priority that there was an indoor pool. I was bummed out.

Hot tub was broken. Hair all over shower. Otherwise great stay.

Pool was closed as well as hot tub and was not aware, the bathroom door did not lock, the water pressure was bad and cosmetically the furniture in our room needed replaced. I was charged an extra $25 that I was not aware of as a hold.

Parking spots to close to each other and not enough spaces , we had to park on hill by hotel not convenient at all. Then A C would keep shutting down abruptly all night and waking us up each time we didn't sleep well. A stay shouldn't be this complicated and stressful.

There is limited parking. Some people were just parked along the front drive because there were no spaces available. Eve at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall excellent for our overnight stay to visit Shippensburg University.

Our room had a musty smell and it was not clean.

Hall floors were not clean. Rooms were very clean. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Praise for the desk staff.

I had 2 rooms booked. BUT WE COULDN’T / DIDN’T STAY!!! Our first room smelled like cat pee!! It was disgusting! I have a cat so I know that smell. The second room smelled like vape and some other disgusting smell, probably a cleaner that was used to cover the smell. We had to leave and drive home 5 hours instead of staying over like we planned. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again. I’d like to be reimbursed since accommodations were uninhabitable! Thank you

The cleanliness and breakfast was good. Also, name brand body wash, shampoo and conditioner plus the lotion was a big plus.

Excellent hotel. Room was big, had 2 king beds and one of them in a separate room. Good options for breakfast. The kids loved the pool. We had an amazing time.

The walls are paper thin. All neighboring TV’s, walkers upstairs, and plumbing noises can be heard clearly. Room had an odor. No daily housekeeping service. Air conditioner was loud turning off and on. Fan would not run consistently on constant setting.

New looking hotel. Nicely decorated. Great breakfast. Best part was the view from our window of fields and mountains in the distance. Request rooms facing back of hotel.

This was an exceptionally well appointed room with a full refrigerator! Comfy bed, walk in shower and everything we needed. The breakfast options leave a lot to be desired. What was offered for scrambled eggs was really sad. The turkey sausage French toast was okay yet the hot items were less than stellar. Please upgrade for the future.

They really need to change the hvac unit in each room; my bed would shake when the room next door has their ac/heat on. I didn’t sleep until 4:30am and got about 3 hrs of broken sleep

Nice room and property. Staff were friendly. The refrigerator was VERY loud and there was a periodic odd odor. I smelled it outside too -- and we wondered if maybe one of the farms nearby was using liquid manure for fertalizing or something.

Brice at the front desk is a treasure and personifies exceptional customer service, something I haven’t experienced in a long time. Smiling, positive, makes you feel welcomed. Lying Liars I booked a "pet-friendly" room (using to the filters on the Expedia app) because my cat was with us, while we were driving through snow from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania. When we arrived for check-in, I was told that they only accept dogs - not cats. I always check the hotel website for details, and I did not see anything on the website stipulating only dogs. I still do not see it, although the hotel receptionist insisted that the website states no cats. Since we could not leave the cat in the car in freezing weather, I asked for a refund. She said that my card had not been charged. Well, I was charged. I called Expedia for help. Expedia tried to get me a refund, but no go. I have been charged for a room that the hotel prevented us from using due to their lack of communication. By the way, this hotel is still listed as "pet friendly" on Expedia, so Expedia needs to fix this also. I would add that we make this same trip multiple times per year and almost always stay overnight in Shippensburg; this hotel just lost our future business, and we will write negative reviews everywhere we can. Is the deceit and lying really worth it? BEWARE: If you do not already know how this works, we pay Expedia, and Expedia pays the hotel. In my case, the hotel requested and received the funds from Expedia, so technically, the hotel did not charge my card. But this is still lying in my book.

The staff were exceptional. They were very personable and accommodating. When I forgot several articles hanging behind the bathroom door, a staff member found me in the parking lot before leaving and gave them to me. Service was definitely above and beyond exceptional!

Liz at front desk was excellent. She was able to reslove a few issues we had during our stay.

Check-in was not Express! Got there at 3pm , 5 families online, one attendant, and she kept leaving the front desk to physically check to see if the rooms were clean before checking in each family. Elevator (1) was slow. No pancakes all weekend for the kiddos! And lobby trash was never emptied. Beds were comfy, A/C was cold, shampoos and conditioners are full size pumps! The 2 Queen size room with sofa bed was spacious for 4 adults. Was nice to have an ice maker on the floor also.

I requested a certain room accommodation, and the staff made sure that was provided which made my stay so much better.

We booked through hotels.com for a room with 2 double beds and a pull out couch for our family of 5. When I arrived I checked in, gave him a card for incidentals and was given a key, went to the room to find only a king size bed. I went back down and said I needed a 2 double room and the gentleman apologized and said that they don't get much information from hotels.com reservations. Anyway, he gave us a new room (the one we booked) and we were on our way. We were on a roadtrip, so truly only sleeping there and then leaving first thing in the morning, so we weren't about to complain, but the room had a lighbulb out in the lamp by the couch, the nighstand table attached to the wall was at a serious slant (I was worried my phone might fall off) and the room didn't have any bedding for the pull out couch. We called to the front desk and had them bring us up some bedding. When we returned home, we found that the hotel had charged us for the night stay (double charging us since we had already paid hotels.com). They are claiming now that we have to call hotels.com and get them to pay them or they will not reverse the charge. This is ridiculous! The hotel is chosing to use hotels.com, they should have to deal with these issues. They also claimed they didn't have record of it as a hotels.com reservation, but the person I checked in with acknowledged it right when I checked in! This is either malicious or they are very incompetent! Another review claims the same double chrg

Perfect location when traveling

Set on a hill, you have a gorgeous view of nearby mountains and fields. Very quiet room, did not hear anyone else in the halls. Hot and cold breakfast had lots of options. Dunkin Donuts was a short walk and located in the front of the hotel. Very comfortable mattresses is a big plus for us!

I really like the cleanliness and safety here. The location is just off the highway, which is perfect for travelers.

Stayed here for an event at Shippensburg. Very convenient to get to the Universiry. The hotel was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

We were at the hotel for one night following a family event. The hotel overall was great. Our King suite was one of the nicest room we have stayed in and the bed was super comfy. The layout was really nice. There was a desk, a table with 2 chairs, sleeper sofa and an easy chair. Our only disappointment was breakfast. There was a nice variety but the warm food was dried out. This was within 15 minutes of breakfast starting. The cinnamon roll tasted old. They did have a nice pantry with food and drinks for purchase. I would definitely reccommend this hotel just make other plans for breakfast. There is a Dunkin sitting in front of the hotel!
