The hotel was not what we expected. Chipped paint throughout the building, the elevator kept getting stuck, someone urinated in the elevator (visible puddle) and smelled of urine. The hotel did have a good pool and an easy access to the beach. Overall the hotel room was clean and bedding was clean, without any smells. The view from the oceanfront room was amazing.

The property is run down and not being kept up. People were blasting music at the pool. We were only given two towels,no floor towel or hand towels, we had to ask for more. The room was clean, though sparsely furnished- no chair, no pictures on the wall. However, if you're on a budget, the pool and the location are great. If you can afford better, do get better!

Rooms: Dirty bathrooms with mildew/mold n the tub and the cover on the toilet tank didn't fit properly. The sheets and beds were clean, and the views were great. The whole place looked very run down, at $115 for one night it was ok, but any longer, and would have gone somewhere else. Safety: Elevators: one was down for maintenance, and the other was SO worn Out it was getting stuck. Saw one couple get stuck on the ground floor, the doors would only partially open then close they pushed the button for the next floor up and the doors luckily opened so they could get off, So we decided it was best to take the stairs

The posting aaid hot tub there is no public hit tub at the properties which is the reason we wanted this hotel. Other issues Room was not clean hot water took minutes to appear in the tap Bath tub was dirty needs a deep cleaning Air conditioner non existent permanently aet on 79 which is way to hot when it was 91 outside. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. Elevator felt like it was going to fall at any minute. Need more vending options for the guest Nobody who doesn't smoke pot wants to smell pot when you are trying to use pool or sit on the balcony. Front desk personnel nor expedia was helpful when i called . Period.

This property is poorly maintained and not anything like the pictures shown. The staff is friendly enough but you can tell they are very under supported. Also know the difference between ocean view and ocean front when booking. The first room I was in was scary! You get what you paid for though. The pool is amazing and the beach as well. They were the saving grace!

Property could definitely use an upgrade. Elevator kept breaking down and sounded horrible. There was a big step up in the room from the balcony that looked like they just kept piling new flooring on top of others. The pool was nice though and the view was good. The lady at check in was super sweet. Didn’t see any bugs and we had what we needed so can’t complain.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Staff very unfriendly. The hotel had the worst smell. Very run down looking. One elevator was being fixed and the other was so rickety I was scared to even get in it. The room didn’t smell clean. Beds were dirty. Bathroom was super small. Toilet basically sat on the ground. It was like putting lipstick on a pig. Things were broken and they did the bare minimum to fix. The door to the balcony didn’t even have a whole doorknob. Just a handle to pull it and a deadbolt to lock. A/C didn’t half work, the room was hot. The refrigerator half way worked, didn’t keep things cold like it was supposed to. Will NEVER be back.

They had one working elevator and it was in poor condition. Shaky and noisy. When we arrived we had no towels or washcloths in our room. We had to ask laundry for towel and washcloth and they were extremely unprofessional asking me “you ain’t had none in your room”. Uhm I wouldn’t be asking if I did. The facility is dirty. It’s not a “resort” it is like a motel 6 with a pool. The pool was nice and clean. If you are on a tight budget and just want a place to sleep then this is the place for you. Oh and our room key kept deactivating. We had to go to the reception desk 5 times in 4 days for a new key. The air conditioning is awful as well. I put it as low as it would go and as high as it would go and suffocated the whole time. For over $100 a night they could do better. No one came and cleaned our room once in 4 days. And if you want fresh towels or washcloths you have to carry them down yourself and exchange your old ones for new ones. Do not recommend this hotel. Felt like I was in the ghetto.

Deplorable facility conditions, suspicious people in the parking lot and surroundings. Great pool but no umbrellas at all.

The property is disgusting and dilapidated. Mold in the bathroom and paint is literally falling off the ceiling, holes in the bathroom doors with poor patch jobs, one elevator works but it’s sketchy as heck, only 4 people can fit in at a time. Door didn’t lock, air conditioner didn’t work, had to go buy a fan, NO HOUSEKEEPING UNTIL YOU CHECK OUT, you have to trade in your BATH TOWELS at a window daily. Overall just needs to be tore down. A one and done experience, never never never never never never never never again. It’s probably cleaner under the highway bridge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIRTY HELL

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The room was disgusting. The couch was nasty. We walked in and saw roaches immediately. We didn’t even stay. I lost $200 for the 1st night because I refused to stay in this dump.

The sheets and towels were stained. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. There was hair stuck to the wall of the shower and on the drain as well as stuck to the linens. There was NO shower curtain at all. The hot water did not work. The floors were dirty. We were moved to a new room but had similar findings in it. And the maintenance man was a total creep. He made sexual advances and made us so uncomfortable and afraid that we called the police to come while we removed our belongings and found another hotel to stay in. We are still fighting to get a refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Very dirty place

First the elevator was out of service, then moved to 3 different rooms due to either standing water on the floor or leaking from floor above all over towels. But the last room took the prize when within 5 minutes of being there we found BED BUGS!! The front desk really didn’t care. Now we are in dispute over the place. We had to leave rather than being eaten by BED BUGS.

Disgustingly dirty. Stunk of weed, cigarettes and bodily fluids. Black mold growing on the walls. Holes that appeared to have been punched in the walls. The elevator to the 5th floor is extremely unsafe and the doors jammed shut and wouldn’t let us exit for several minutes. Found curly black hair in all the towels. Moldy showers. Hole in bathroom ceiling above the shower. Floors are tripping hazards with inconsistent leveling. Extremely outdated and gross. The halls don’t appear to have ever been cleaned. Honestly the whole place should be burned to the ground.

This place was very dirty and ran down. They make the pics look good online. The air didn’t work and it made a loud noise 24/7. The bathroom was so tiny and the bathroom fan made an awful sound anytime you turned it on. The smell in the room and “hall” was musty. The halls were also very dirty. We had came here bc the first place we booked, we stayed one night and left bc it was awful as well and we came here thinking it would be better…don’t waste your money.

This review does not mention any prices or room rates. It contains no profanity. It does not reference any personal information. The motel was not at all as described on the hotel’s.com profile. All the pictures on hotels.com were not just inaccurate but completely misleading. The place was decrepit and decaying. See the photos of the motel attached to this review: the walls are molded and peeling, water dripping from ceiling, water dripping and staining down wall and window, bottoms of walls and door jambs damaged by rodent infestation, sink broken/shattered and held in place by grouting applied to the broken pieces, trash everywhere in the hallways, hallway flooring/carpeting filthy, ripped and damaged, mud collecting on hallway roof. This motel was not at all what the hotels.com photos displayed. And the photos attached to this review reveal only what the place “looked” like. The place also reeked with the stench of marijuana, alcohol and drugs. The facility looked and felt like it is straight out of the films about the slums in third-world countries. It is unsafe, to the point where one cannot feel safe to even voice concerns to the staff for fear of retaliation while still not being able to leave since the motel has a big sign on display that says they will keep full money if anyone leaves early.

Perfect view of the beach, easy walking distances to attractions, and clean facility. I think I speak for everyone when I say, fix that elevator. Great stay at an affordable price, too.

pros- the pool and view are nice! I got an ocean view and swam in the evening. Good location. cons- there was NO INTERNET the whole time I was there. Super bummer, I guess it happens often and is not guaranteed? This is a first. Building seems old and dingey/dirty. Hotel desk not super helpful. One of the guys hit on me for 20 mins before giving me my key and made me super uncomfortable. Even came to the front of the desk to hug me. There was also NO shampoo, soap or towels in my room. Was afraid to address any of this with the guy that I checked in with.

The room was extremely dark, with only one lamp in the bedroom and one near the couch. The coffee machine didn’t work at all, and the table was broken. Every time we requested towels, it took them nearly an hour to get. For such a large property, having only one old elevator meant long wait times every single time. The room I booked showed a beach-facing view, but upon arrival, we were given a side view instead. While the staff was polite, there was only one person at the front desk trying to manage everything. The property felt very outdated — the mirror and sink were oddly placed outside the restroom, and the corridor carpet seemed dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, while it was still stayable, the entire experience was far below average. The excitement you expect from a vacation hotel room was completely missing.

Hotel right on the beach. Accommodations were adequate for our stay in Myrtle Beach. Only real complaint would be that the air conditioning didn't seem too cool adequately. Good place for the money.

Location was amazing. Pool was clean. Beach was very close. Room was not so great. The toilet was basically in the shower. Very old..needs renovation. No bugs though.

Hotel does need updates but the room was clean. Pool was very nice and relaxing especially when the ocean was so rough. Wifi is spotty and there were no hangers so you'll have to bring your own but bed was comfy and you can't beat the price. No housekeeping but front desk is very friendly and provided everything i needed. Overall pleased with everything

hotel looks nothing like pictures. its ran down. chairs had cigarette holes in it... i had to buy bug bombs and leave for a few hours because of spiders... plus side is its on the beach... if i could have canceled and got a refund i would have.

Front desk girl chdcking us in left and said someone else would help us check in. Literally just walked out the door. Next person came in about 10 mins later and checked us in, he was great. Room was sketchy looking, we stayed in the suite. As clean as one could expect given how old the building was. Parking was awful because everyone oarked there without passes to go to the beach and no one checked them...so anyone staying there couldnt park.

Outside of its location on the beach, for what you pay, it's not worth the money. Filthy dirty, cockroaches, the room in terrible.condition. I'd give it a solid D, and that because it's on the ocean. Came in at 930, waited with another couple to check in to an empty desk with no clerk. Waited 15 minutes for a girl to show up and scan keys and send us on our way, walked to the room, tried the keys and they didn't work. Walked back down to an empty front desk AGAIN, this time after half an hour a young man showed up to provide a key to get in. I asked where the desk clerk was and he said they don't stay if the hotel is fully booked...this place is a joke and I'll never spend my hard earned money there again.

Place has very poor upkeep. Door knobs falling off. Stains on everything. Toilet that didnt flush. Roaches. One elevator was under repair the other one was down more than half the time of our stay. Everytime you left the property the room key card wouldn't work upon return and needed to be reactivated. Floor had huge gouges in it. Security lock on door not even attached properly. The pool and the view were surprisingly very nice tho. Location was a bit of a ways from the boardwalk but had some nice stuff only a few minutes walk away. Met four staff members and it was a 50/50 split with good and bad. Plenty of on-site parking. I definitely would not stay again or recommend to anyone I know.

Staff was very rude in lobby . Went thru expedia, the ad said ocean view, paid extra like 75$ for a view room..lady told me she wouldnt accommodate or live up to anything published in the ad, the room was small sheets looked dirty and the bathroom was moldy. Exhaust fan was hanging and loud. I paid 8x more than i ever should have for the room i got, then was RUSHED to get out of the room.

I appreciate the price and access to staff. Even after 10pm someone was available.

Wouldn’t recommend. Made a reservation for 2 nights a day or two in advance , when i arrived they were overbooked & didn’t honor my reservation at all. Only got to stay one night & would’ve cost me nearly double what I paid to add a night because of weekend rates. Manager wasn’t helpful at all & has a nasty attitude. Seen a bug within the first 10 mins of getting in a room.

It was awful So the first room we had the pull out bed was disgusting and we talked to the guy that was working and he was high as a kite but they upgraded our room for free which I was grateful for but then we called the front desk to see about getting some pillows for the pull out bed and they didn't have any so we let that go and made do with what we had in the room but then we called the front desk to tell them that the fridge wasn't working which I wouldn't care but we had milk for our baby to drink and it ruined, they had brought a mini fridge to the room and it didnt work either so the stuff we did have all of it ruined, you couldnt walk into the office without smelling pot so strong and then when my man went to turn our keys back in because we was checking out and heading home he told the manager that the fridge didn't work they had brought and that our stuff ruined she made the smart remark that he couldn't get everything for free and he wasn't asking for anything for free he was just letting her know the fridge wasn't working they had brought up there for the replacement and the stuff ruined we had. The rooms definitely need upgrades so if u want to stay where some of the employees stay high including the manager and where the rooms are for sure falling apart this would be the place for you but if u have a family I wouldn't recommend staying here!!!

At around 1:00 AM, a man entered my room without knocking, claiming to be from the front desk. I’m a young woman traveling alone, and this was extremely frightening. He had a key and let himself in with no warning, no call, and no explanation beforehand even after confronted the next day. This is a huge violation of guest safety and privacy. I did not request service, and there was absolutely no reason for anyone to enter my room, especially at that hour. I immediately reported this to the front desk and still have serious concerns about how this could happen and what could’ve happened to me. I hope the hotel investigates this properly and changes its procedures to protect guests. Until then, I do not recommend this hotel, If you’re a female traveling alone and want a man coming in your room in the middle of the night this is your go to place luckily my before was with me but this is not accidental it was very intentional and creepy.

For the price and location the hotel was great. Very close to the beach. Nice pool area. The staff was friendly. The rooms were a little smaller than expected and could use a little maintenence but everything was clean. All linens and towels were clean. The bathroom was very clean.

Love the location on the beach, across the street from a friendlys restaurant and amusement park.A big parking lot makes for an easy in/out

Parking was a nightmare, the room and staff was great. Good views of the beach. Room was ok. if you’re expecting the Ritz Carlton, this ain’t it. But if you want a decent room with good staff and a good view, this will work.

For the price you can't beat it. While it does need to be updated a bit the rooms were nice and clean. Front desk was nice and helpful and provided everything I needed. No coffee maker in the room but they have coffee in the main lounge area. No clothes hangers either so bring your own. Room was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. My only complaint was that only 1 elevator works. Other than that everything was great and I will probably stay again.

Room was great location and view was great access to beach was great but there was no service there 5 nights never saw got any service had to go to front desk to get towel’s coffee maker was messed up when we arrived and with our complaints it never was replaced and smoke alarm same thing
