Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Myrtle Beach, SC

Really nice place to stay, clean room, bathroom , and convenient for where I needed to be. Parking was tight and could have been fenced from neighboring properties for an extra layer of safety!

The pool and sauna were disgusting and in need of repair.

We were disappointed in that the indoor pool was so fridged rendering it unusable, and the hot did not work properly.

Stayed at Country Inn and Suites with family. The whole reason I booked here is because they had an inground pool. Well for the 4 days we were there the pool was closed. One night the staff at front desk said swim at your own risk. Not taking any chances with my daughters swimming in it. It was a real letdown.

Place is up to date as far as the room I had. Nice Hot Breakfast, friendly workers and the place has indoor pool and hot tub.

The property was nice, provided breakfast, and the staff was welcoming. However, our door got jammed almost every time we tried to get into our room; pretty sure the beds which are listed as queens are actually fulls; the main elevator is incredibly slow and doesn't always open when it's supposed to; and the guests during our stay we're incredibly loud on our floor (we stayed 3 nights and EVERY NIGHT people were running up and down the halls screaming at the top of their lungs - not sure if they were in drugs or just rude), not to mention the surrounding area with the obnoxious cars (though that's not on the hotel).

I was told the pool was heated when it is not. I would have stayed at another motel.

For the price, this is a solid hotel. The first room I was given had not been cleaned since the last guest left, but they promptly relocated me to a clean room. Also, the “fitness center” is just a small room with a treadmill, bike, and a few dumbbells, but it’s enough to get a workout in. Other than those small things, the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast really made it worth the price, it wasn’t gourmet but it saved me from having to buy breakfast elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The staff was nice, the breakfast and staff was good. When I walked in the hallway the rugs was disgustingly dirty. The pool was pealing and freezing, not warm. The hot tub was hot and clean. The hotel was very close to the stores and not to far from the beach. If they clean the rugs and pool, I would definitely come back to stay.

Please do not stay here at this hotel! I beg you ! I checked in and they gave me a dirty room with sheets being dirty not washed. Our first room had hair in the sheets, toilet and in the mini fridge. Our second room they gave us after complaining had long hair in the shower and pubic hairs in the wash clothes and towels. I kindly asked for a refund being that I was only there for 1.5 hours out of a 2 day stay and they were rude and not willing to refund me for the hour that I stayed. Everything looks dirty even the pool and the floors and not being mopped. If you want to sleep on used sheets and stay in a dirty hotel please stay here !!

This is an old hotel that has been remoled, however it is not in good condition. There was an awful smell in our room that had to be from the floor not being cleaned.

From the time you walk it smells like weed. The carpets are dirty they have not been washed. They say you can’t smoke in the room but obviously theirs smoking going on. The room is decent but it is very outdated.

We were expecting more from this stay. The room was dirty after check-in, with dust over everything throughout the room. When I tried to call to ask for a cleaning the phones were down and the television was down. When I went to the front desk all I was given was a “would you like a dust pan?” And instead I asked for them to clean the room the next day while we were out as we stayed two nights. The first night we were all itchy while trying to get to sleep. The bathtub was small and moldy, and the ceiling for some reason was much lower than the rest of the room. Hallways were dark and dingy, and the entire experience just did not feel welcoming or comfortable.

My room smelled when I walked in but I had an appointment and left the hotel. Upon returning a few hours later I went directly to the desk and informed the woman working. She said there was nothing she could do because I did not voice a complaint within the first half hour. I continued to complain and was told there were no similar rooms and there was nothing she could do. Upon returning to the room I noticed black mold on the walls! I called the desk and was told that a note was made and I could speak to the manager in the morning! I hope I don’t get sick. Don’t bother booking here.

The hallways and stairs are filthy.. food and stains on all carpets. Bathtub has grout stains .. whole building smells like marijuana

I am extremely satisfied. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good Will definitely come back. If you are looking for cleanliness and quite stay book this hotel.

My room had trash and candy paper underneath the pull out couch , the couch bed was stained . The toilet was backed up ..

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. Needed minor maintenance but nothing major. I absolutely loved the shower, water pressure was perfect and hot. The staff was very pleasant. Overall I was able to get a great night's rest after driving 15 hours to bring my son to school. Also the breakfast was good as well.

Room was small. Shower needed to be remodeled (cracked and rusty).

The room was big, there was a living room area bathroom and bedroom. The bed could of been a little more comfortable the mattress was too hard for me.

Certain areas felt unfinished and/or outdated.

Not a bad stay. Rooms were clean, but need a deep clean of surfaces, etc. Bed was pretty comfortable. Water pressure in my room wasn't good, nor was the water temperature regulation. The noise from adjacent rooms and the hall was a bit much at times. The AC was blocked by one of the beds so airflow in the room wasn't great. Overall, a decent solo stay for business or for a night or two.

Lady at front desk was very pleasant. Room was clean . We were on second floor and could hear the people above us walking around and loud at night. That was frustrating.

You could tell people lived there, IE: charcoal grills around, people sitting on lawn chairs outside rooms, the smell of marijuana was prolific. The second night, all night, there was noise sounding like something being pumped all night, and the groundskeeper worked the next day. (Yes, groundskeeping has to be done.) The toilet in the room ran continuously. On a good note: lots of usb/c plugs and electrical outlets are available. The hotel is close to many restaurants and fast food restaurants. Sam’s Club and Walmart are about a mile down the road and a shopping mall is across from Walmart. I would not choose to stay again.

Staff were great. Room was clean but it was very noisy. Could hear cars and trucks outside.

I loved how accomadating the property and staff were to inconveniences we were having. Very helpful directions and solutions!

The staff was fabulous

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. This was the most absolute worst stay at Myrtle I have had. The woman who works during day shift at the front desk needs a reality check and needs to be fired asap she is very rude has no clue how to be a service worker and made it almost impossible to check in because she says our service dogs are “fake” but yet I have documents stating other wise. I was harassed the entire time about this, they also had a god awful sewer smell through out the entire hotel and they have the audacity to try and blame it on our dogs whom which are groomed every week. They also proceed to send this email listed in the picture, trying to scare me away and saying I’ll get my money back but I know I wouldn’t. They also decided to keep my $100 security deposit and also charge me $49 more for what reason I do not know because we lift the hotel with not a single thing missing or broken with both key cards left on the table. I will never stay here again I would rather sleep in my car then deal with these stupid a$$ people again. DO NOT STAY HERE if you want a peaceful trip. The hot tub didn’t even work correctly just felt like sitting in a Luke warm bath lol.

More attention to cleaning needed. Only thing provided was an offer of clean towels. There was no trash collection. A guest had to empty their own trash, then ask for new bags to replace them.

Staff at check in was unprofessional. After traveling for 10 hours we checked in & when we got to our room it was assigned to another guest. Not much of an apology when we went back to the desk. In the middle of the night I got a call from the desk to say my car was not in a parking space. At 1:15 I went downstairs to find out it wasn’t my car they were calling about. We were parked in a handicap spot with a placard visible. No apology

The lady that works in the evening is racist. We asked for one additional blanket because I don’t sleep under the covers and she frown up her face and told my husband that there was no extra linen. What she didn’t know is that I used to work for Country Inn and Suites in Atlanta. Hotels always have extra linen. The breakfast was no where near the brand standard. However ,the breakfast attendant and the lady who checked me out was very nice and friendly. Coffee is suppose to be available all day and it wasn’t, neither hot water for tea. The room looked as though it hasn’t been mopped in a long time, pillow cases dingy, and the bathroom shower looks not cleaned. If you are going to charge well over $100 plus dollars a night at least be up to standard. This bad experience won’t stop me from staying at another Country Inn but I won’t be back to this one.

Extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. We had an unexpected flight delay which didn't allow us to arrive to the area before 1:30AM... being that the hotel information listed on our reservation indicated check-in was only available until 12:00AM, we called to cancel, letting them know we couldn't make it before the cutoff. No one ever said at that point that we could still show up later, only that the decision making manager on refunds wasn't there at that time and we should send an email requesting the refund. Did that only to find out the next day he declined to refund... Customer service goes a long way... if we'd have been offered a late checkin we would've come anyways, but instead paid for a room at a different hotel with 24 hr checkin. I've called multiple times to speak to the manager and he's never on property and won't return my calls... not very professional if you ask me! One thing for sure is I'll never book here again!

The property itself was excellent. No bells and whistles. Clean and accommodating. Staff was pleasant . The only negative was nothing nearby to walk to to get something to eat or groceries

Great location! This was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy with plenty of good food options!

OK to sleep one night if coming to Myrtle Beach. Located in area that has nothing to offer

Everything was wonderful and definitely want to come back to this hotel the staff was great, the rooms were clean with plenty big with lots of towels and wash rags. Beds were extremely soft with lots of pillows, breakfast wonderful and the times were very nice for people that sleep in a little bit. The hotel was not far from all the shopping centers. And was really easy to get to and from the highway.

The hotel was clean, but the lobby was a little dingy. The area was not the best, I wouldn't walk outside at night near there.

Quiet area and centrally located. Close to mall and restaurants.

Great location not too far from the beach or Broadway at the Beach.

They need to have other options of food. The same food every day for 4 days not good. People dont eat pork or meat don't have options. No toppings for the oatmeal, no cheese for grits. Just need more options.

We stayed in a King Suite expecting a comfortable and relaxing experience, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The sofa bed had an extremely uncomfortable mattress, and the tub had visible mold and hard water stains that made it feel unclean. For a party of four, we were only provided one small tube of shampoo and conditioner—definitely not adequate for multiple guests. The central A/C was not functioning properly, so a window unit was installed instead—secured with duct tape—which prevented us from closing the curtains and limited privacy. We could hear every footstep from the room above us, and the adjoining room guests were loud into the evening. One especially disappointing detail: there is a $10 per person just to bring breakfast to our kids instead of eating it in the dining area. And a $10 daily property fee yet there are no amenities to compensate the charge. Overall, the stay didn’t meet expectations for the suite we booked. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve the guest experience.

Excellent hotel for the price we paid. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, but perfect for the budget traveler. Breakfast was awesome

This was one I was the worst Country Inn and Suites we’ve stayed at. The room hadn’t been wiped down very well and the floor had lots of stuff stuck to it. The breakfast is usually good at this chain, but at this particular hotel, it was horrible. We didn’t eat anything. If you are expecting what you’ve gotten that other Country Inns, you will be disappointed.

Roaches crawling around waffle maker for breakfast.. Chair in room was extremely damage and pieces of it kept falling in floor. Was unable to use the chair. My room was near staff working areas and it was very noisy . I was denied the ability to move rooms. Power was out for the beginning and I was unable to check in multiple times. Once checked in, power was still out and room was hot and stuffy.

clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, good location. Room just looking a little worn, could use a refresh.
