Property is a bit run down. Rooms need updating. Shower head away from wall, tub chipped, floor dirty. Room not serviced, had to ask for towels, toilet paper. No hairdryer upon arrival and no ironing board. We were going to a wedding.

Don’t believe the pictures. Do more research before booking. The room had a weird smell, the elevator was ‘questionable.’ Our room door didn’t close all the way, we had to tug on it. Definitely will book different on the next trip!

The beds were nice and the rooms were clean, only thing I can say is the people who stayed there were loud and inconsiderate, slammed doors all night stomping around all night, and one of the side doors to the hotel had duck tape over the latch so the door wouldn’t lock after 10 like it is suppose to and that just is not safe honestly and nobody did anything about it. I should have pulled the tape off myself, big bucket full of cigarette butts next to the side door, pool was dirty. But I would stay here again for sure because the little things that were not that great were just that little things!

The hotel smelt like pot in the hallways and on the elevator. The only comfort was while in the room. Great location but not after dark. The parking lot is very sketchy. Poor lighting and people hanging out in the parking lot until late hours. Made you feel uneasy. My car has a scratch on the hood like someone set something on my car. Not a place I would recommend for a family to stay. Not a place I would stay again.

The worst hotel stay I’ve ever encountered. I will not recommend to anyone. I will tell them to stay away. I have pictures of mold growing out of the coffee maker in room. Room was on first floor. Latch on window was broken along with crack in glass. Stains on bedding, rust on tub and pubic hairs in shower. Sketchy individuals hanging out in parking lot all night long ever night. Back door to building by pool didn’t shut all the way. Anyone could gain access. Unsafe for sure! Walls are so thin you could hear people in and out of the building all night long and people snoring in next room over. Pool was a nasty hue of green. I have pictures of all and plan on contacting Expedia for my money back. I suggest Expedia take this hotel off their list as nobody deserves to spend their hard earned money on a hotel of this capacity.

Not the best but made the best of it. Let’s start with the parking…. Horrible! Checking in and front desk nice, clean and friendly.Elevator hot,smelly,slow and has a bad start off. The hallways dark, hot not much light and floor dirty. The actual room was ok besides the walls are very thin and could hear people walking and babies crying all though the night. Cleaning could be a lot better!

The whole hotel was very dirty and smelled of old mold. A musty smell. To reference the smell, it smelled like when you don’t dry your clothes well. The room didn’t feel or look clean, asides from the beds being made. The towels in the bathroom had short pubic hair looking hairs on some and others had long black hair( I have blonde hair). The floors in the room and bathroom were very sticky. The shower was dirty and the water pressure was horrible. There wasn’t even a trash bin in the bathroom. There were several broken lights in the hallway. The elevator made the most horrible sounds and felt very unsafe. The man in the front desk was very unwelcoming. I was given an atrocious room at first and was expected to stay there. The rooms key lock was broken and the room smelled so bad and the air was very humid. It hurt to breathe in there. He made it seem like it wasn’t bad and tried sugar coating it by saying I was next to the pool, gas lighting me by saying it was convenient for me to be there for my kids to easily access the pool. He changed my room at the end after me asking to be moved several times, but the room wasn’t any better. I would never come back here and will never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially people with children. I’ve been to countless hotels and this has been the worst experience ever. It almost feels as if it were better to just sleep in your car. Do not waste your money here. The outlet in front of the hotel is the only good thing.

The booking site is a complete lie. This place is old and smelly. The walls and floors had dirt and food all over them. There is lots of evidence of bedbugs and other bugs. The smell is awful.

Pictures are illusions. Hairs in the bed, in the fridge and in the shower. Picture make the double bed room look bigger than it actually is. The A/C unit in the room went in and out all night even after being turned to the coolest setting. The sink was barely holding on. The hotel is maybe a 2 star and that is being gracious. The hallways have no air and smells very old. Looks like they tried to paint the walls and ceilings (popcorn ceiling at that) to give it an update and more modern look, but the hotel should be gutted and renovated. I would never stay their again. Oh and im assuming the manager is who checked us in is not friendly.

Upon arrival we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned from prior guest. Dirty towels on the floor unmade bed. Halls smelled like soiled baby diapers. The second room we were given was cleaned but still had strong odor of mold and mildew. Coffee maker didnt work so i asked for another to be put in the room. Which was dropped off on the counter but never took the broken one nor hooked up the replacement. When i left to go out in the morning only to return that night to find my room door had been left open by housekeeping. Thankfully nothing was taken. Will not be staying there again. Everything was reported to the manager.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. If I could give it zero stars, I would. This hotel was disgusting! It smelled like mold. I had an asthma attack because of it. The manager said there were no animals in the room, but the bathroom smelled overwhelmingly like cat pee. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Mold and filth. I checked out after less than 12 hours and paid for other accommodations for the week. The manager said they would refund the remaining 6 days, but he told the booking agency he would not. He lied!

I stayed here due to the location and availability. While I didn't expect a 5 star, luxury experience, it was overall disappointing. The hotel lobby area was clean and the front desk staff was friendly; easy check in/check out. The continental breakfast was sufficient. The hotel room itself left much to be desired; the comforter on one bed had multiple holes/tears. There was a suspicious hole in the wall that was not in a position where it would have been leftover from a previous hanging picture. The tub had black mold in part of the caulk. The hook on the wall fell off with the weight of a towel. The towel rack was not in great shape, there was no stopper on the sink drain, and the room was humid and not temperate despite an air conditioner. It had a musty smell as well.

Understandable it doesn’t have to be offered but just giving a waffle without a protein seems a bit meh. We just sucked it up and ate out. The staff was great, customer service was on point when there was an issue with our key they fixed it immediately. We’d stay again for sure since we can take our puppy with us.

I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have blackout curtains. And the walls are thin, was woken up at 2am by the guest next doors Alarm clock and then got to listen to them watch videos on their phone for the next 20 mins then talk to their friend. Ended up sleeping till 9:05 & went down for Breakfast which was already cleaned up. Front Desk lady was nice and gave me a muffin at least. Small parking lot too, if you have any kind of trailer would be impossible to park.

I would say this is a solid 2 star hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly but the elevators were a bit sketchy and the rooms (although very clean) seemed overly damp. Could benefit from a dehumidifier. Location is nice but I feel it was priced a bit higher than it should have been but that is the industry. Would stay here again if needed solely due to the staff and cleanliness of the hotel.

Hotel was ok, very hot and humid. Front desk staff was nice but the cleaning staff was rude as can be. Refused to give any extra towels refused to clean the room one day because the comforter was on the floor, laughed at me and actually told me that I need to relax when I asked to have my room cleaned.

Cockroaches, unclean restrooms, terrible service and attitude from staff, and strange smells. I approached a staff member and asked about cancellation policy and she very rudely told me to contact Expedia. Expedia then claims it’s on the hotel to refund our money and that they can do nothing more for us. The hotel manager asks me why I contacted Expedia and I told him why and he snapped at me and told me I should have requested a room transfer! As if I knew he was the manager of the hotel. Constantly outside smoking and never greeting anyone who walks in. I simply wanted to cancel our stay that first night (we had booked 5 nights) and get another hotel, but we were forced to stay all 5 nights because of the no refund. We are from out of state so it’s not like we could just go somewhere else especially if we are being charged. Never again will we ever stay at a Quality Inn.

The owner and the lady working (auditor?) were both extremely rude and unwelcoming. They also charged me a fee for my service animal even though that is illegal. I asked her twice if she was sure about charging me for that which she said yes. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The outside grass was full of trash and broken beer and alcohol bottles.

I reserved this hotel for my honey moon. I traveled 3 hours and 40 minutes. Manager told me the day before I could pay on the spot and they would wait for me. Called again and another employee told me the same thing. On my wedding day the same manager called me to tell me they were cancelling my reservation because they would not wait for me arrival. Thankfully another hotel took me in, never again booking with this location. Manager did not help at all. I was going to stay in the streets because of him.

The management and ownership of this property lessen the brand name of the hotel. He was rude and very unprofessional. The property owner does not understand American hospitality or customer service. Choice Hotels should really vet ownership. However, the front desk staff was more refreshing and customer-oriented.

The hotel is dated, but a lot of things in Myrtle Beach are. It was centrally located to coastal College and Myrtle overall it was clean and that was my main need. I even got to enjoy the pool.

This is the worst experience in a hotel, we were not able to use main entrance with dogs and had to to use side exit with a broken door, there was no rule in the expedia website rules that dogs cannot be left alone in the hotel room, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that we must always be with the dogs in hotels and we were charged $25 for each dog plus a $100 deposit, the website says the hotel is pet friendly but we felt stressed, our plans were ruined and we had to stay in a hotel with dogs, the website included breakfast so that was part of the reason we booked the hotel, but when we arrived for breakfast there were no eggs, no sausage, just cold cereal and waffles, fruits.. it's called continental breakfast which is not stated on the website.

Water damage to wall, moldy odor in room, shower head separated from wall, couldn’t control water temperature in shower, breakfast consisted of a waffle and watered down orange juice no eggs no meat. I’ve stayed at several of your hotels and this one by far is the worst ; you can do better

The hotel and our room smelled like weed. The elevator was scary and the inspection certificate was not posted in the elevator. Breakfast was bad, only waffles, dry cereal and bagels. Coffee was decent. We would not stay here again.
