The motel staff was helpful, super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and modern. The sink was cracked, but that was likely due to some deranged guest. Our only problem was with the parking. Maybe it’s bird mating season, but there was more bird pooping on the cars there; as if all the birds in Georgia came to their parking lot, with diarrhea!! I had to take my SUV to car wash TWICE in our 3 day stay. Several guest complained of this, but it’s truly not the motels‘s fault.

The room had tile falling off at the baseboards in the sink area, the toilet wouldn’t flush without lifting the plunger inside the toilet, the room was so over powered with air freshener, the make shift window unit air conditioner unit had moldy stains from water dripping from the unit down the wall. In a pinch it served as a safe place to sleep for a few hours. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

Better than I was expecting. Place was quiet and beds were comfy. Limited on tv selection but we made do. Kids enjoyed the pool time they got which was a plus for sure.

⭐ 1 star Found Bedbugs During My Stay — Be Cautious I checked into this hotel recently and unfortunately discovered bedbugs in the room. I immediately reported it to the front desk and decided to leave. I want to share this so future guests can be aware and check their rooms carefully before unpacking. My wife and I were in the last room on the left bottom floor near the dumpsters. Room was comfortable but not clean. Stuff left in refrigerator. fingernail on the carpet. There was shady things going on by the dumpster. Looked like drug deals. Still, it was alright but, I got bedbug bites out the wazoo. From my neck, under arms, 13 red marks in a row on my side.

Sheets had huge dark stains resembling blood. . Coffee pot had used coffee in it. Nasal discharge dried on bathroom door. Very uncomfortable with cleanliness so slept on top of bedding instead. When brought to front desk attention was told to contact "Expedia" altho we booked thru Travelocity. Photos available.

We arrived later in the evening, the doors were locked, and we had to be let into the lobby. When we went to our room, there was someone in their car blaring music definitely in an altered mental state. We went to the room and we could still hear this woman also honking her horn repeatedly she was reported to the lobby. The lobby called the police. Tried to get settled into the room, but from the lampshade next to the TV, the ceiling in the main area above the couch all throughout the bathroom ceiling tiles that were falling out of the ceiling you could see mold. Mold everywhere. I felt unsafe and we didn’t stay in this room for more than 45 minutes before we turned in our keys and went to search for another hotel. I felt unsafe because of the situation outside, not being resolved, as well as all of the mold surrounding us in our room.

We were charged a pet fee twice, once upon check in and then when my husband checked out the next morning, the same employee charged him again saying the night before my card had declined. It in fact had not- when we told him this, he said we would need to contact corporate to get our money back. Not very helpful. Could not sleep because the property felt dirty.

We didn’t end up getting to stay. I got in the shower, only to notice there was dirty washcloths hanging on the shower rod. Then had to ask for clean sheets bc they had hair and makeup stains. So I changed out the bedding, left the dirty sheets in floor, got in bed and sunk in the broken mattress. We packed up, told front desk and they assured us a refund within 72 hrs. This is about 2 am. We had checked in sometime between 1-1:30am. We had to get back in the road without a place to stay…ending up at a rest stop. A few hours later, I received an email from the manager saying they weren’t refunding our money bc we took a shower and left some trash in the trashcan. This is after I clearly changed their bedsheets for them and they had given us a dirty room!!!

The lady that checked us in was very nice and prompt in and letting us know about breakfast and where the ice machine was located. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. Some instructions for the tv would have been helpful as we were trying to get the reports on threatening weather in the area.

Before reserving rooms I called guest service & to enquire that we are family of five & i was told by receptionist that as long as 5th member is family (2-parents & 3-kids), we can book a room for family. After checking in & taking my credit card information, the staff changed their statement: Five people can't be in one room. This was a very terrible experience

On a road trip we stopped there for the night. It's outside entrance type of hotel, and we parked right in front of our door. The parking lot was very well and the area was safe. There are many decent restaurants nearby. The room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. The layout of the room was exceptionally convenient. The bathroom was nice, very clean. I was especially impressed by the bathroom mirror. You know how most often it's difficult or impossible to shave because of bad lighting? This mirror had lighting all the way around and made shaving or makeup very easy. The free breakfast was good, and we were on our way. It was a very pleasant stay that didn't break the bank.

One of the better places I've stayed in similar price range. It's not the Hilton, but for what you pay, you get a lot. The most important things I look for when traveling is quiet and safety. This place has both. The room was clean and the amenities were sufficient. There wasn't any illegal activities or random people walking around at night, which was refreshing. A big plus, they do allow pets for a small additional fee. Next time we visit Dickson, we'll more than likely stay here again.

Do not go here!! We left immediately! Not a safe location. It was dirty and smelled awful. There was so much cigarette smell we had to throw away our suitcases after being there for only 10 minutes, and leaving. This hotel is not like regular best westerns, the doors have access from the outside and there were dents in the doors( probably from people breaking into rooms). I have never been so scared before, really sketchy area.

This hotel was a surprise stay.! It is definitely an older remodeled motel but it was nice! Everything was done tastefully and the breakfast room was small but cheery. The breakfast was a nice surprise too with hot sausage, eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles and the normal selection of cold/bread items, a yogurt bar and juices and coffee. I fount it to be clean and the staff friendly!

Although we also had a dog, the room next to ours also had one who woke us every morning barking. Our was quiet. The breakfast area was supposed to be open until 9:30 but the young man started putting everything away at 9. I had to ask him to leave the food.
