The parking lot was very well lit. Because there were so many contractors staying at this location, it was very quiet, as well. The room was extremely clean, and it was a nice place to spend the night while traveling across country!

Charged 2 dollars for 5 cent plastic key card cause we locked our key in room. Housekeeping was extremely rude and couldnt understand much english.room in need of major update and some repair work. In room phone was broken. Room smelled of illegal substance as soon as we walked in. You have to buy the normal items most place give you like shampoo and such. On site vending machines was broken. For the prices they charge you would expect at least a continental breakfast, but no.NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE MOTEL 6

Card reader was down had to use the ATM to get cash. No shampoo, no hairdryer no extra blankets. The sheets on the bed were changed, but the floor was not swept. card would not unlock the door On Friday night. A little bit of noise on Friday night outside, they kept us awake, The seat on the toilet was broken..... It was clean when we arrived. We just were not prepared to not have the little extras that we have been accustomed to.

Pro's: Its affordable, good location, clean, decent privacy, they have rooms for pet owners, they have rooms for smokers, its very close to Montgomery Bell State Park, very close to a number of different restaurants, and they have an ice machine. Cons: no shampoo, USB port on television did not work, owners/staff are not American, no food or kitchen to order food from, no DND signs to hang on door, staff will come into your room to clean every day whether you like it or not, and they scanned my drivers license for no reason. This was my second time staying in this motel, and I will likely do so again since it has an affordable price.

Upon checkin, the desk clerk was rough and just before rude. The room had a broken tv remote, back missing. the toilet handle had to be jiggled every flush, the stopper on the bathroom door was missing, causing a hole in the wall. Paint was splattered on at door casing and door in bathroom. Plug was missing from tub, we found it in the floor. No amentites available in the bathroom except two tiny bars of soap, one for sink, one for tub, for TWO guests, for the inflated price. I have stayed here before at much less per night. No Ice available, one machine missing, one out of order. No freezer in refrigerator, had to buy ice daily at the convenience store. Too bad this review will probably get deleted, only good ones stay on the site. Pool was NOT open for the season, others in the area were. I could have paid $10 more per night and got breakfast, which was not here, if Iwould have known ahead of time. Will check much better next time.

Missing remote control for tv & the ice bucket. Grimy walls, baseboards, floors, killed a large cockroach running up the wall. Lumpy, uneven beds, very uncomfortable. 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no extra roll. Worst place to stay ever.

The property looked nothing like advertised. In the room there were areas of clear water damage/mold along baseboards and on the ceiling. The toilet was loose so when sat on it would lean forward. Cigarette burn in the bed covering.

Sketchy characters walking all in and out nonstop. Rooms were cleaned with bare minimum effort. Towels and wash cloths had dirt and grime stains from excessive overuse. Flies greeted me in my room from the very first walk in. Floors were sticky and greasy. Bathroom has too many entrances for pests and the tub looked like someone just painted over all the previous dirt! Could do this all day with photo evidence

This was one of the nastiest motels I have stayed. Front desk staff was the only thing they have going for them. Room was dirty, chewing gum covered the peep hole, sheets were ripped and stained. Towels thin, filthy and stained. Noise all night long, I could hear the next room conversation, homeless hanging out in parking a lot loud banging in the middle of the night. Had to take a shower with shoes on. Microwave, walls were disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE for the price I should have slept in my car, I would have been more comfortable and felt safer.

It was the grossest hotel i ever stayed in. You could tell they did not change the sheets only sloppily made the bed. We tried to lay on the top bottom of 1 of the beds, would not even lay our heads on the pillows or use any of the covers. It was 20 degrees out side the room was ice cold, no heat was on. After turning it on the heat was blowing luke warm. After 2 hours or so of using all our extra clothes to try to stay warm we checked out went down the road.to a rest stop and slept in the jeep for a fee hours. They had a sign that said all new rooms. What a lie and would not give us any type of refund.

Rooms were actually clean and looked ok but we couldn’t sleep because it felt like something was biting us and we itched all night, guess they have bed bugs. We reserved the room for two nights while working near by but we checked out and didn’t stay the second night.

When i realized this upon check in i was not allowed to just stay the first night amd get a refund on the remaining nights. Manager was impolite and not accommodating about it. He did give me an iron to borrow but i therefore had to do ALL 4 days of clothes at once. Lots of road noise, toilet almost turned over 3 or 4 times on me. NEVER AGAIN will i use Motel 6.

I apparently booked a smoking room online by mistake. I was willing to deal with it until I got to the room and found out there was burn holes in the duvet cover the room just gave creepy vibes. I had to pay for an upgrade to a non-smoking room. The room has no amenities shampoo conditioner. It did come with a bar soap, but nothing to put the bar soap on the pillows were nonexistent and the two beds were very uncomfortable. Thumbs down for motel six at this property the young man who attended the desk argued with me, they also tack on a six hour cleaning fee. Can’t say the hotels that clean there was a bug crawling across my table in my upgraded room that I had to pay extra for lesson learned.

The room was ok but clean We had a family emergency Saturday the 27th and had to leave for home. I stood at the desk for 30 minutes to cancel that night and hopefully get refunded. No clerk showed up and i was forced to leave without any reconciliation

We booked on hotels.com and arrived by 8:30 pm. Motel 6 cancelled our reservations since they were "overbooked" and we had not arrived by 6pm, they sold our rooms to someone else. The entire city was overbooked and we had to find another hotel 30 miles away. No notice, no phone call to see when we will arrive. Terrible service. We had to contact hotels.com to insure they didn't try to charge us for the 2 nights we had booked. DO NOT TRUST the management at this Motel 6. They have no scruples and barely speak English.

I usually don’t write these. However, there are some things that other travelers should know. They don’t tell you there is $150 “smoking” deposit in all nonsmoking rooms. If you want the refund, you better go to the front desk and wait for them to check the room before you leave. The room wasn’t bad, but there was hardly any toilet paper and we had to go to the front desk for more. It was so cold, it took almost an hour for it to warm up. There was only a sheet and a very thin bedspread on each bed. No blanket. The room had an odd smell. And finally, there was a homeless guy sitting next to the ice machine. Won’t stay again.

Got locked out of our rooms and got refused help to get back in. Will not be coming back and do not reccommend. Man at the front desk repeatedly told me I was out of luck and he wouldn’t help me.

Didnt get to sleep there due to them saying they didnt have my reservation. Expedia sent me the conformation number and reciept, showed it to front desk said she didnt know what to tell me theres not a reservation. Contacted expedia and they confronted the hotel twice. They still wouldnt take me so expedia found me a hotel that was 10X cleaner and 10 X nicer. Same price with twice as much to offer. My parents stayed at the motel 6 and as they were taking their stuff into their room staff came around and asked them to close their door.

The room was clean but that is the only good thing to say. Saw a drug dealer right beside our vehicle, multitudes of people hanging out around the facility watching our every move. We just left and didn't even stay because of the fear of our car being broken in or being robbed.

Even though the facilities were "clean" inside, the bed was hard, there was no iron, no microwave, and no breakfast or even coffee available. When i realized this upon check in i was not allowed to just stay the first night amd get a refund on the remaining nights. Manager was impolite and not accommodating about it. He did give me an iron to borrow but i therefore had to do ALL 4 days of clothes at once. Lots of road noise, toilet almost turned over 3 or 4 times on me. NEVER AGAIN will i use Motel 6.

Pro's: Its affordable, good location, clean, decent privacy, they have rooms for pet owners, they have rooms for smokers, its very close to Montgomery Bell State Park, very close to a number of different restaurants, and they have an ice machine. Cons: no shampoo, USB port on television did not work, owners/staff are not American, no food or kitchen to order food from, no DND signs to hang on door, staff will come into your room to clean every day whether you like it or not, and they scanned my drivers license for no reason. This was my second time staying in this motel, and I will likely do so again since it has an affordable price.
